Considering a FALL/WINTER GETAWAY? The weekly "Couples Rate" is $1000. Plus taxes, this is $1110. A FIVE DAY minimum stay is $800 with taxes; the total for five nights would be $888. A "Family Rate" for Thanksgiving is $1200; with taxes, the total is $1332. Five nights would be $950; plus taxes, the total is $1054.50.

422 CAPTAINS WALK is a villa with one of the best views possible on Hilton Head Island. A FOURTH FLOOR-UNOBSTRUCTED VIEW.

As you enter the villa, warm green tones move you pleasantly past fun art and out to the magnificent ocean. Your eyes quickly glance at the captains table and the large wrap-around leather sofa (by Lazy Boy).

You will want to linger on the balcony for your first glimpses of the blue ocean waves. A Captains Table Set makes this a great place to meet morning and evening to watch beach combers throughout the day.

Back up, for guests considering a PALMETTO DUNES OCEANFRONT VILLA, YOU CANNOT GET ANY CLOSER OR ACCESS THE BEACH ANY EASIER THAN WITH A "CAPTAINS WALK"!!!

A FOURTH FLOOR "CAPTAINS WALK" IS A " GREAT LOCATION." You simply can't get any closer than this. All units in the "CAPTAINS WALK" complex are all-flush with the ocean. THERE ARE NO V-BACKS.

With only three buildings and 30 units per building, guests feel and indeed are in a very private complex with LOTS OF OCEANFRONT to place their beach umbrella and chairs.

"422 CAPTAINS WALK" has over 1400 square feet of space, with long views from the balcony or master bedroom. It is wonderfully spacious and close to the beach. To get to the beach, you catch the elevator down, take a short turn, and walk less than fifty steps to the beach gate. The Hilton and Hyatt Resorts are next door, so those wanting a morning paper can walk less than five minutes for this morning ritual.

"SOUNDS OF THE OCEAN" cannot be beat!!!

The DEN has a top-of-the-line, Lazy Boy, leather sectional sofa, which has been a great hit and sits guests comfortably. A nautical striped recliner adds to the circle atmosphere as the family settles in after a day of fun on the beach. The carpet is CLEAN and comfy for the kids who like to make their own space when watching TV or a rented movie. All our rooms have CEILING FANS and FLAT SCREEN TV'S.

There is a Stanley woven seagrass bed in the MASTER BEDROOM which makes one wonder if it's what Santa uses while visiting Hilton Head. The room is large and roomy, with featured art work from HHI. All mattresses in the unit are top of the line; pillow tops on both sides.

The GUEST BEDROOM has two queen-size beds. Again, pillow top and comfy. The second bath area adjoins this room. All bedrooms and the den have CEILING FANS. Both bedrooms have TV's.

BOTH BATHS HAVE RECEIVED REMODELING... with color-pleasing mold-resistant tile resurfacing on the floor and the tub areas. The master vanity has been further updated with granite countertop.

Even the PATIO is inviting... captain's bar-height table and chairs to insure you see out to the beach as you enjoy a drink or just gaze at the ocean.

The KITCHEN cabinets are stocked with Mikassa white dishes and stainless steel cookware. Top of the line washer & dryer. Pergo cherry-planked floors meandering into the hall, entrance, and kitchen areas. Pottery Barn wool rugs are used as accents. Counter-height dining table and chairs. And Corian counter tops in the kitchen.

The VIEWS AND SOUNDS are magnificent wherever you are in the unit. REMEMBER, "you can get no closer to the beach than with a CAPTAIN'S WALK STAY." "

PS.... We try to keep beach umbrella and chairs... some beach toys! So far, this has worked well for families... though we don't promise this as sometimes beach supplies can be forgotten and left outside.

PSS... Our unit has wireless internet and a tennis package, which includes 1 hour tennies per day.

  • Very nice condo and accomodations! Current and stylish furnishings which made us feel right at home from the moment we opened the door. Well equipped kitchen and bathrooms with plenty of room to spread out. We spent hours on the big, comfortable balcony watching the dolphins go by! We'll be back!

  • Sherry - thank you for allowing us to enjoy your condo in September. What a great way to relax after Labor Day. The view was spectacular, the furnishings immaculate, and a great time was had. I love the artwork throughout the condo. The couch is a great place to read a book and still enjoy the sounds of the beach. The tall chairs on the deck provided an excellent locale for breakfast. Thank you again for the experience.

  • Amazing oceanfront view, tasteful and comfortable furnishings, and incredibly hospitable owner. Sherry is a wonderful owner who you can tell takes immense pride in her condo. It is evident in every detail. This is our second year staying in her condo, and we'd love to return for many years. The pictures do not capture the great layout and features of the place. Sherry - The recent enhancements to the bathrooms are great. Highly recommend this location to anyone.

  • This condo is probably one of the nicest we have stayed at in 40 years of visiting Hilton Head. Pictures and description do not do it justice. Sherry, you have done an outstanding job of decorating and bringing the island theme to your property. We loved our stay and will probably come back to your property next year. It is truely top notch, From the high chairs on the balcony to the linens on the bed every detail as if we did it ourselves. Thanks again, see you next year.

  • I must admit I was hesitant to share my experience at 422 Captains Walk for fear it will affect availability but it wouldn't be fair not to share. We visited #422 the week of 7/25 and our family of 5 could not have been more pleased. The pictures can't convey how beautiful, welcoming, and comfortable this condo was for our family. We were first time visitors to Hilton Head and our extended family all stayed at various condos in Captains Walk. The complex is right on a spacious, beautiful beach. The water was warm and the kids loved swimming and exploring for sea creatures in the tide pools at low tide. The pool was also a big hit especially in the evenings. We visited several other condos in the complex and 422 was hands down the best. The condo was extremely clean and the amenities paralleled home, upscale appliances and a kitchen stocked with more than just the "vacation rental basics". The sectional sofa was incredibly comfortable and easily sat 6, although there was sometimes a fight for the chaise section : ) The bedrooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. All the beds were amazingly comfy and the full-size beds in the second bedroom were a huge bonus (and a rarity in other Captains Walk condos). All rooms had ceiling fans, the carpets and rugs were newer and very clean. The view from the balcony was amazing and I wish I had the balcony furniture for my deck. Our only complaint for the week was it simply went too fast. The Hills were so wonderful to deal with and everything was super easy. We all can't wait for our next visit to 422 Captains Walk!   • What an incredible home away from home! We stayed at 422CW 6/6-6/13. We were blown away by the amenities and view as soon as we walked in the door. In fact, I emailed Sherry as soon as we got there to tell her how excited we were to be staying there. We have been to HHI many years and this is the best place we have ever stayed. The condo was very well appointed. You really can't get any closer to the ocean. If you like to sit on the balcony and watch storms over the ocean at night this is a great place to do it. We had storms 2 nights in a row. Also, the Captain's Walk complex was very quiet overall. Sherry is great to work with and always responds. I can't say enough good things about Sherry and her condo. We will definitely be back!

  • What a wonderful getaway! We stayed 4/10-4/18 and it was perfect. The photos on the website are just a sample of how beautiful the villa really is. Everything is well-maintained and worked out great for our family of four. The updated features are beautiful and the cozy linens and furniture make it feel like a home away from home. We look forward to another trip to HH and would definitely rent again from Sherry and Terry.

  • Sherry: Just returned from 422 Captains Walk for a week with my girlfriends and it was great!! This is the second time I have stayed in one of your villas and they are the best. I have been renting condos for about 20 years in Florida and HHI and I have never found one more comfortable and well equipped as yours.
