Great 5 star resort villa with beautiful beachfront view. The accommodations were fantastic, everything you could wish for and more. The beds were supremely comfortable with wonderful linens. We enjoyed an evening oyster roast around the pool area, dinning on fresh seafood daily, bike ridding and golfing. This was our second visit to your villa. Thanks again for a great trip.

Beautiful Villa, Amazing Ocean Views

We just spent a wonderful Christmas and New Year's at this lovely villa. The views of the ocean from the living areas and master bedroom are breathtaking. The condo is very attractive, nicely furnished, well-equipped -- a great home away from home. The photos give a good sense of the villa. Sherry was very helpful in making the arrangements and answering questions. The Palmetto Dunes location is very convenient to restaurants, golf/tennis/biking/canoeing, shopping, etc. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. We hope to stay there again soon!

This villa was even better than described. We had a wonderful time. The care Sherry puts into her home is evident at every turn. The view is extraordinary, the leather sectional made visiting a delight. the master bed mattress was so comfortable I wanted to take it home with me. We enjoyed tennis, the beach, the pool, riding bikes on the beach and in the neighborhoods and all the great restaurants. We had great weather and would love to visit again. Thank you Sherry for helping make our visit to Palmetto Dunes absolutely perfect.

This was our family's second year to stay at 422 Captain's Walk. It was amazing to walk into it for the first time last year & think to myself...'The pictures on the internet do not do it justice.' Our return visit was even better because we knew what to expect...very clean, superb view, & everything that we could possibly need during our week's stay. This is our second year at 422 Captains Walk, and we enjoyed it just as much as we did last year. The Hill's continue to be great to deal with and will assist in any way needed. Hilton Head is a wonderful place to visit, and we cannot get over how well maintained everything is, and the design/lay-out of the island is so inviting. When we arrived this year at the villa, it was as breath-taking as we remembered it. It is very obvious that the upgrades to the villa are continuous and instead of looking like a rental villa, it looks like a home. It is a very clean villa and has plenty of starter items, fresh towels, and fresh bed sheets waiting for you. Thanks to the Hill's for making another vacation to Hilton Head Island very enjoyable and memorable!

This has been our favorite spot at HHI for the past few years and this year was no exception!! The views are great and the condo is always in perfect shape. The short walk to the beach can't be beat. We saw many dolphins this trip, my daughter even had one swim by within 10 feet of her! Thanks to Sherry for providing such a great place and being so easy to work with! We'll be back as long as week can get our name down before it fills up...

You just can't beat it

I've been coming to Palmetto Dunes for 24 years, having stayed in almost every villa complex, and 422 Captains Walk is my new favorite. Excellent layout, first class furnishings, and the closest and best view of the ocean in the plantation. The balcony is a great place to start your day with coffee watching the shrimp boats and dolphin, or end it with a nice glass of wine and the warm breeze coming up from the surf. The complex is situated between the Disney Beach house and the Omni (Hilton) and is within walking distance to the General Store and Alexanders. A great central location in Palmetto Dunes. The villa looks exactly as it does in the photos, impeccably clean, and dealing with the owner couldn't be any easier. I would definitely stay again and will recommend this villa to anyone interested in Hilton Head and Palmetto Dunes.

Outstanding Condo, Best Ocean View

We had a wonderful experience at CW in this condo for a week's vacation in April 2012. The condo is clean, updated, and very comfortable. Wireless internet w/ fast and reliable. The patio has a fantastic, unobstructed view of the ocean. This is the closest you can get to the ocean in Palmetto Dunes condo and has easy access to the beach. We traveled w/ two kids under age 2 and felt very safe with them here. Sherry was wonderful to deal with, responsive when booking, and available for questions. We hope to book again in years to come.

My family loved our stay in 422 captains walk! It was immaculately clean and the decor, artwork was up to date, warm and inviting. The view of the beach was the BEST! I will miss watching the ocean while drinking my first cup of coffee in the morning on the lovely balcony! The owners were very nice to work with and ensured we were all set for our vacation. We will definitely be visiting again! Best spring break ever!!

Sherry your villa is absolutely everything you said it would be and more. Even though it was February, the weather was nice enough for us to spend hours sitting on the balcony admiring the beautiful view of the ocean. That is as close as you can get to Heaven! Can you tell that the beach is our favorite place to visit? We could not have asked for a better place to wind down and get away from our fast paced lives. Your unit is very well furnished and the beds were like sleeping on a cloud! I could not believe how fast the days passed. We well definitely be contacting you again as HHI is our dream vacation spot and your unit is our new favorite place to stay. Thanks!

Wonderfull location, imagine sitting on the private balcony while watching dolphins play. We enjoyed true relaxation walking or bike ridding on miles of scenic shoreline. The kitchen is fully equipped for those who prefer to dine at home on fresh atlantic seafood with unobstructed ocean views from balcony or dinning area. This upscale villa is most spacious and beach accessible. So many activities to enjoy tennis, golfing, shopping and exploring the island just to name a few. We spent 10 days at this villa following my husband's surgery. It was perfect for us and a great place for him to recuperate. The check in and check out were easy. The view is unbelievable! The condo is clean, comfortable, well decorated, convenient, and has everything you could ask for. We felt very much at home and will hopefully return.

The condo was just as described in the listing. This was an excellent location on the island. Amazing views from the balcony. Property was super. Great 1st time experience at Hilton Head Island in a Wonderful, Family-Oriented Villa!

Upon our arrival at Captains Walk, we were greeted opening the door to a very clean, eye-pleasing villa. Sherry's villa is very well decorated, has nice furnishings, has a fully-equipped and stocked kitchen, and the washer and dryer are clean and work great, which makes it easier keeping up the tedious job of laundry! The views from the balcony over-looking the beach are magnificant - most definitely one of the best views of the water. We have stayed in numerous privately-owned condos on the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts, but this villa in Captains Walk has, by far, been the nicest, cleanest, and well-appointed unit that we have stayed in. The resort that Captains Walks is located is a very nice area with tennis courts, a general store, and bike rentals within walking distance. (I highly recommed renting a bike - it's a great way to tour the area, while having a fun source of physical activity!) We enjoyed visiting the numerous Marinas on the Island during our visit, the Outlet malls, and going charter fishing. Hilton Head is definitely a must-see and return to place to visit! Thanks, again, for being so helpful and informative about the general "must see and do" information that you provided to my family before our arrival to your villa. We definitely look forward in visiting your villa next year!

This was our 3rd summer in a row to stay in this unit! The oceanfront view and being only steps to the beach speak for themselves. I have seen pictures of other units in this complex, but this one has the best decorating by far. The improvements/changes from the previous year are noticeable when you walk in. This year there was new paint, new linens, new sliding balcony doors, etc. It's a first class vacation home! Thanks Sherry for sharing your condo and for all your hard work!

Our family has been to Hilton Head several times. I am so thankful that we have finally found the villa that we want to come back to every year. From the incredible view to the tasteful decor, it was exactly as described. It was super clean. The kitchen was extremely well-organized. I had no problem finding anything I needed. We loved our Captains Walk! We have stayed at Captains Walk for about the past 5 years and this was definitely one of our favorite condos. The view is EXCELLENT, nothing obstructs the view. The table on the balcony was perfect for eating breakfast and lunch on the balcony. We had enough room at the table for all 4 of us. The condo was very clean which is a must for our family (we have a crawling baby). The kitchen was supplied well for our meals and my husband loved having ceiling fans in all the rooms. This condo will definitely be a first choice for our next stay!

Outstanding from start to finish. In short, it was the best vacation we have ever had. On a scale of 1 - 10, we rate it a 10.5. The views were amazing, from the living area to, and including, the master bedroom. Extremely quiet and " laid back ". Very safe and secure. The grounds and landscaping was immaculate. Perfect Location!

This was our first time visiting Hilton Head. We couldn't have picked a better location. Just steps from both the beach and the pool. The condo was beautiful, well equipped and quiet. It was so relaxing listening to the ocean from a beautiful view. We found some great restaurants and shopping and had fun exploring the Island in addition to taking a day trip to Savannah. We hope to return to Hilton Head again soon and will certainly contact Sherry first for accommodations.

Our three nights at Captain's Walk were a perfect chance to get away for a while. Everything was exactly as described--and beautiful and immaculate--nothing was omitted for a pleasurable stay for anyone. We loved the bright and cheerful decor and spent a lot of time on the deck enjoyable the ocean view. Sherry provided all the information we needed to get there and get checked in and enjoy the villa, and was lovely to work with. We would love to return.

We just returned from staying at Sherry and Terry's condo at Captain's Walk and we just had to add our review. We stayed for four nights and wish it had been twice that. The location cannot be beat and the condo itself is beautifully furnished and made us feel like we were really at home each day when we came back from the beach. Our daughter is 14 m/o and there were even beach pails and toys in the unit that she loved playing with. We cannot wait to go back!

Another fabulous vacation! This is our 4th year vacationing in this condo and we highly recommend it to anyone. We have small kids and the location can not be beat for easy access to the beach and accessibility to the swimming pool along with other amenities. The condo is very tastefully decorated - always clean and is fully equipped. The view is our absolute favorite part - sitting on the balcony for breakfast and dinner. Sherry is fantastic to deal with and we will be returning guests again in 2011.

Totally unobstructed view of the Atlantic. Condo is very tastefully decorated. Great central location in the heart of Palmetto Dunes. This unit faces south, so one never gets blinded from the morning or afternoon sun. Pool area is adequate, but certainly not anything spectacular. The real stars here are the beach and the condo itself.

We spent the month of March in this condo. The condo is well maintained, beautifully decorated and has spectacular views! The unit is exactly as shown in the pictures. There are far more amenities in here than could be listed on the website. This is our second time renting from the same owner and we have already booked next year's trip. The owners are wonderful to deal with, answer all your questions and provide you with incredible service. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone

We have just spent Thanksgiving week in your condo and everything was perfect! It was quiet and very comfortable; the kitchen has all utensils and stores are really close. We even saw dolphins from the balcony. I wish I had the same couch combination at home... We will definitely come back on our next trip to HHi!

Sherry - thank you for allowing us to enjoy your condo in September. What a great way to relax after Labor Day. The view was spectacular, the furnishings immaculate, and a great time was had. I love the artwork throughout the condo. The couch is a great place to read a book and still enjoy the sounds of the beach. The tall chairs on the deck provided an excellent locale for breakfast. Amazing oceanfront view, tasteful and comfortable furnishings, and incredibly hospitable owner. Sherry is a wonderful owner who you can tell takes immense pride in her condo. This condo is probably one of the nicest we have stayed at in 40 years of visiting Hilton Head. Pictures and description do not do it justice. Sherry, you have done an outstanding job of decorating and bringing the island theme to your property. We loved our stay and will probably come back to your property next year. It is truely top notch, From the high chairs on the balcony to the linens on the bed every detail as if we did it ourselves. Thanks again, see you next year.

I must admit I was hesitant to share my experience at 422 Captains Walk for fear it will affect availability but it wouldn't be fair not to share. We visited #422 the week of 7/25 and our family of 5 could not have been more pleased. The pictures can't convey how beautiful, welcoming, and comfortable this condo was for our family. We were first time visitors to Hilton Head and our extended family all stayed at various condos in Captains Walk. The complex is right on a spacious, beautiful beach. The water was warm and the kids loved swimming and exploring for sea creatures in the tide pools at low tide. The pool was also a big hit especially in the evenings. We visited several other condos in the complex and 422 was hands down the best. The condo was extremely clean and the amenities paralleled home, upscale appliances and a kitchen stocked with more than just the "vacation rental basics". The sectional sofa was incredibly comfortable and easily sat 6, although there was sometimes a fight for the chaise section : ) The bedrooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. All the beds were amazingly comfy and the full-size beds in the second bedroom were a huge bonus (and a rarity in other Captains Walk condos). All rooms had ceiling fans, the carpets and rugs were newer and very clean. The view from the balcony was amazing and I wish I had the balcony furniture for my deck. Our only complaint for the week was it simply went too fast. The Hills were so wonderful to deal with and everything was super easy. We all can't wait for our next visit to 422 Captains Walk! What an incredible home away from home! We stayed at 422CW 6/6-6/13. We were blown away by the amenities and view as soon as we walked in the door. In fact, I emailed Sherry as soon as we got there to tell her how excited we were to be staying there. We have been to HHI many years and this is the best place we have ever stayed. The condo was very well appointed. You really can't get any closer to the ocean. If you like to sit on the balcony and watch storms over the ocean at night this is a great place to do it. We had storms 2 nights in a row. Also, the Captain's Walk complex was very quiet overall. Sherry is great to work with and always responds. I can't say enough good things about Sherry and her condo. We will definitely be back!

What a wonderful getaway! We stayed 4/10-4/18 and it was perfect. The photos on the website are just a sample of how beautiful the villa really is. Everything is well-maintained and worked out great for our family of four. The updated features are beautiful and the cozy linens and furniture make it feel like a home away from home. We look forward to another trip to HH and would definitely rent again from Sherry and Terry.

Sherry: Just returned from 422 Captains Walk for a week with my girlfriends and it was great!! This is the second time I have stayed in one of your villas and they are the best. I have been renting condos for about 20 years in Florida and HHI and I have never found one more comfortable and well equipped as yours. Look forward to coming back to HHI and it will definitely be at your place! Thank you.

If you are looking for a wonderful vacation get-away, nothing could please you more than spending a week or two in this wonderful condo. We would consider it PERFECT PLUS. The furnishings are beautiful, the ocean view unsurpassed, with noting lacking in the kitchen. If you are planning to vacation at Hilton Head you will find this condo a pure delight. Sherry & Terry, We had a great week at 422 Capt's Walk 3/21 - 3/28. Your place is the best place we have stayed in and we have been coming to Hilton Head for over 20 years. Capt's Walk is the ideal complex because of its size, location, great beach and beautiful grounds and pool area. Your villa is as close to perfect as one could get. The view, the decor and nice upgrades are much appreciated - such as HDTV in the LR and flat screens in the BRs; comfortable King Bed in the Master and (2) Queens in the 2nd BR; leather sectional in the LR is outstanding; ceiling fans throughout. We hope to come back next Spring for two weeks this time. Rich and Mary Dowling

We (two couples) stayed for four days in March 2009. We totally agree with another review that everything is exactly as described. The villa is nicely appointed with all that you could want, whether it be kitchenware, linens, furniture, televisions or wireless internet. The ocean view is spectacular. The balcony is a great place for both morning coffee and evening social hour, watching beachcombers, listening to the surf and being entertained by dolphins swimming just off-shore. Our only regret was not spending a longer time here. We plan to remedy that next year.

This was our second visit and it just keeps getting better. We have been coming to Hilton Head for more that 20 years and we've stayed in condos all over the Island. You just can't do better than this. The ocean view is unbelievable - not obscured by trees like many other "oceanfront" places. It's comfortable, clean and the supporting service is outstanding. All this and you get free tennis and wi-fi. We're looking forward to returning next year.

We, two couples, stayed for a week in September. Everything is exactly as described. The pictures only give part of the story. With four adults in the unit at the same time, at no time did we feel cramped. The balcony with the pub table height table and chairs is perfect for relaxing with a drink and watching the sunset.(the blender is perfect for crushed ice drinks) The beds were comfortable, none of that vacation backache you sometimes get on overused mattresses. You cannot get any closer to the beach on Hilton Head. The pool is clean and well cared for, just like everything else connected to this unit. I would recommend this unit to anyone who asks.

We were guests of our dear friends in your condo over the Labor Day weekend. Our stay was delightful, and the accomodations were excellent. You have a beautiful unit in a very desirable location. We own several time share units(2 on Hilton Head)and travel all over the country. This location is comparable with any place we have stayed. You do an excellent job is maintaining your condo. We will certainly consider your place in our future travels.
