  We stayed in this clean and comfortable house for one month. It is clean, well equipped, and quiet. The back deck is very nice and spacious. The house location was perfect for us as we wandered through the hill country shopping, golfing, and discovering small quaint towns and burgs that suited us well. Linda, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. When we return to this area, we will rent the same house again.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  We were relocating from California, bringing two dogs, and needed a month to month furnished rental for 6-8 months while building our dream home nearby. This was the perfect fit, Linda was very open to our situation and even left the key under door for us to check it out on a pre-trip before we moved. House is just the right size and on enough property to give a sense of privacy. Nice sitting patio in back. Thank you Linda for providing a roof over our heads. Would recommend to couples or families. Also within walking distance to the river tubing areas which is a plus.

  My husband and I lived in this little house for 5 months while building our home on Canyon Lake. The place is perfect! Linda, the owne,r is a wonderful landllord, and now a good friend. She helped us get to know the area as well as being the best person to rent from ever. You will LOVE the home. Enough privacy to feel like your own but close to all kinds of river and lake activities. Our little dog, Boo Boo loved the turkeys and deer we saw in the yard some mornings. Great get away location!

  We have truly enjoyed our two months in this house. The house itself is an excellent (well designed, well built) example of the Texas vernacular with large porches and high ceilings, and a general layout that we found to be a highly functional and comfortable place to live. Everything is right where it seems like it should be, including all of the kitchen utensils, linens, and towels. Two TV's was a big plus for us as was the wireless hookup. The location is great - close to the lake, to tubing on the river and to all the amazing roads and tourist towns of the Hill Country. And last, but far from least, Linda herself is delightfully friendly and helpful. Maybe the best thing we can say about it is that we have reserved it again for next March...and that we are already looking forward to returning.
