All the comforts and amenities were provided with lovely simplicity and spotless cleanliness. This is a perfect place to enjoy Woodstock and the Catskills in any season. We loved it, would highly recommend it and would go back again. It's a great little place at a fair price!!

THE BEST LITTLE "GETAWAY" EVER!! (My Favorite)

This was our second time making a trip up to the Barn. My husband and I had the nicest stay ever! We know already that this will be an annual trip for us. The owner Mirav is simply the nicest person. We were there for new years weekend and were greeted by a nice bottle of wine from her. Just like last time, she goes above and beyond to make sure her guests are comfortable while still affording you privacy. This goes a long way! The Barn is warm & cozy, quaint, romantic, relaxing and comfortable. It is aesthetically pleasing (as nice as it looks in the pictures It looks even more beautiful in person!) The hot tub is amazing. To sit under the stars in the cool crisp air yet nice and warm in the relaxing hot tub is awesome. We personally like to go snowboarding when we go and there are plenty of places nearby to do so. Though you are far out in the woods you can easily drive out to town (about 20 min away) and access anything you need in the malls and restaurants along the strip (The best of both worlds!). The view from the barn is another thing that adds to the experience. To look out into the snow kissed woods and wake up in the morning and see deer pass by is the best! I suppose I could go on all day. Bottom line though, this is a place that is good for almost anyone. There are many things you can do there be it winter or summer. If you need to get away from the hussle and bussle of the city as we do from time to time this is certainly the place to go!!!

Great Relaxing Getaway For Couples With Dogs

My wife and I needed a weekend away from the everyday hustle and bustle of life. This place fit the bill. We celebrated our anniversary here. Perfect little place, well kept, quiet, nice property. We enjoyed hiking in a nearby park and an afternoon in the town of Woodstock. I also like the fact that it was pet friendly, my 2 black labs also enjoyed the weekend as they love to hike the local parks with us. Great little place for a couples retreat that is pet friendly!!

Awesome Romantic Getaway!!

My husband and I recently booked a stay in this cabin. It met up to all our expectations and more! It was just the perfect place to relax and unwind. The cabin is spacious airy sunny and bright in the daytime, yet perfectly cozy and romantic in the evening. It was very clean and decorated in a way that was very esthetically pleasing. As was mentioned in other reviews it was so awesome to look around and see the forest from inside. Sitting in the outside hot tub and being able to look up and see the stars was amazing. Mirav, the cabin owner was great! She was very easy to deal with and answered any questions we had. She emailed us all the information we needed and more and invited us to call her anytime should we have any other questions. This contributed to our awesome stay. While this place is secluded enough to allow you to relax and have an awesome time, it is not far from town, enabling you to run to the store for anything if need be. If you are looking for a nice relaxing romantic getaway this is the place you MUST go.. It would also be great if you were a family of four or two couples wanted to go, as there is a nice spacious loft as well. My husband and I look forward to returning many more times to come!

We wanted a romantic get-away and stumbled onto this place through the website. We lucked out! The studio/barn is totally hip and nicely furnished. The coolest thing is lying in bed and looking out into the forest. It's like sleeping outside--except the bed is really comfortable. I already booked another weekend this summer. Definitely one fo the nicest weekend getaways I've found!

We stayed at this special hideaway last weekend and had a wonderful time. It was extremely clean, and beautifully decorated, and the view was spectacular. From every window, I could see trees and forest and even a stream. The guesthouse is perfect for anyone who wants a quiet, luxurious retreat for a few days.

my friend and i spent an incredibly wonderful weekend at the 'barn' as it is affectionately called. It is really a beautifully designed apartment, with a fantastic sleeping loft (enough room for more friends) in an idyllic location, near the center of woodstock; it is on 5 acres complete with a babbling brook out the back door. Spacious and complete this is a place we want to return to again! The accommodations are not only comfortable, with everything we need to enjoy a perfect weekend, they are beautiful as well.
