Nice condo, easy to get the free shuttle to skiing and town. Nice social layout for the kitchen/dining/living area. Great value in Aspen. The little things like location on a busy corner were far outweighed by the positives. Walk over to the ribs place across the street - fantastic food and a really good time. We would stay here again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

This condo is remodeled beautifully; however, there are some things that were not disclosed by the owner that I feel should have been. 1) location- it's on the corner of the busiest street in Aspen so there was constant traffic noise and no peace & quiet. 2) construction- the neighbors are doing construction & that was not disclosed nor offered as a discount. 3) plumbing- every sink and shower is plugged so that nothing drains. It's gross taking a shower in a foot of water. 4) electrical- apparently they have not spent money on electrical material, as every time you put a blow dryer in (provided by owner) it short a fuse. 5) the contract says there is a garage when in face there is no garage. 6) the posting advertises it as a 3 bedroom unit, when really it's a two bedroom unit. The "third bedroom" is the basement and has no door or privacy- If someone is in the kitchen cooking or hanging out, you can hear everything. I did address the above concerns with the owner. The response I got was less than satisfactory. They appeared to only be interested in their home (& the rental income) and not their renters. I understand that a home is important, but I also want to know that I am renting from someone who cares about our experience at their home and is willing to own it, acknowledge it, & make any apologies. I think it is very unprofessional that they did not disclose the location or construction, as I feel their advertising was not honest. I would not rent this condo again.Owner response: 1. Location: There is a Google map which shows the exact location of the condo. It is centrally located to all biking trails, walking trails, and close to the free shuttle. 2. Construction: The construction in the condo is an interior remodel that was unexpected. No notice was given in advance by the neighboring condo owner. This was completed recently and no further construction is anticipated. 3. Plumbing: A maintenance person is available and the tenants were advised that a plumber could fix the problem immediately. The renter did not want to have the plumber come to check the drain in the shower. This has been repaired. 4. The electrical is all to code. The blow dryer had a faulty element and has been replaced. 5. Garage: There is nothing in the contract nor the web page which states there is a garage. There is parking on the premises with a designated spot by the condo unit. 6. This is a three bedroom unit as shown in the photographs. The 3rd bedroom also has a separate shower, sink and toilet, with a privacy door to the bathroom. Also, a discounted price was given before the rental contract was issued since the owner agreed to reduce the price. We have had only positive responses from other tenants and have had repeat renters.

My family and I had a fantastic stay at this Townhouse. We stay for 8 days in December 2010 and wishes we could stay longer. Situated just on the edge of town it was prefect. You could walk into town or jump on the free shuttle. We had a car and it was easy access to all four resorts but the shuttle would be fine too. I cant wait to go back. It is such a wonderful town and possibly the best Ski Resort in the world.
