Retreat to our cozy, updated Tahoe style cabin by the lake, with views of the lake from every room. Winter~ 10-25 min drive to 6 ski resorts. We have sleds and 2 sets of snow shoes for you snow play. Soak in the hot tub after a day of skiing. Sit by the fire, enjoy a movie on the flat screen, relax in the quiet.
Summer ~Soak in our large (6 person) hot tub overlooking the lake, after a day of play in the lake, hiking or golf. Enjoy bbqing on the deck and watching the sun set over the lake with family or friends. We have 2 bikes, a double kayak, beach chairs, grill, huge table w/ 6 comfortable chairs, a fenced back yard volleyball, basketball, beach toys and access to the lake is a quiet 5 min stroll.
King's Beach is a small lake town with all you need within walking distance. The new park has several volleyball nets, basketball court and playground for young children. Beach, restaurants, shops, movie theatre and movie rentals within 5 min walk. We love never having to get in the car once we arrive.

Casinos up the hill in Nevada a 5 min drive. There is a panoramic view of the lake at State Line Park just 5 min north. We delight in sharing our home with nice folks who appreciate it. Year round fun and relaxation at breath takingly beautiful Lake Tahoe.

Why the Owner Chose Kings Beach
I love my little cabin by the lake. It is always a respite ~ summer, winter, fall and spring. There is something quite magical about being able to see the lake from every room and the hot tub. It's very beautiful and soothing.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
The spring and fall are undiscovered there ~ very quiet and the weather is usually perfect. We love to bike and hike and even kayak then. Needless to say winter skiing is wonderful and the beach and swimming is always fun in the summer. (We provide 2 bikes and kayaks for guests to use)

We cannot begin to express the fabulous time we had in Kings Beach earlier this month. Your home is outstanding in regards to: furnishings/ammenities~extremely comfortable; location~we were able to walk to almost all adventures we had planned; and pet perfect~we did not need to worry about our dog being outside while using the BBQ and hot tub. The view of the lake and openness of the cabin created such a peaceful atmosphere for us. Also, thank you for the information about local hikes and eateries. We had a terrific time and look forward to returning next summer.

I just wanted to make a correction on our last review about the payment difference of $50 - after spending an hour with Paypal support to figure it out, turns out this was a Paypal error and there is no question of the full refund from Savannah. :)

We chose this cottage because it was pet friendly, which was really great. The cottage itself was very sweet. Basic amenities and comfortable for a family of four and two small dogs. The only complaint we had was the fact you have to provide a deposit ahead of time that does not go toward your payment - and then we had to chase down the owner to get it back (and are still short about $50 for reasons unknown...). This may prevent us from renting there again, as this seems like an unusual rental policy that left us a bit uncomfortable.

We had a very nice time in your cozy home...it rained and we enjoyed just relaxing and walking in the rain to the great restaurants in the area...was very comfortable...we didn't get to use the hot tub but it looked wonderful...enjoyed our stay. Thank you for sharing your charming home.

Three of us had a lovely time visiting in the summer. The cottage is small but well appointed and conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants, the beach, and hiking trails. The cabin was cool in the heat of sumer, and we enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen when we were not trying out some of the nearby restaurants. The owner was very helpful, as was information on things to do and see which was left in the cabin.

This cabin made for a wonderful stay in Tahoe! Right off the bat I have to say that it was great dealing with the owner, Savana. She was easy to reach and gave us lots of great info about the area. The cabin is really cozy and has such a great homey feel. It is was very clean and clearly well maintained. The location is perfect! With views of the lake it was only a two minute walk to the beach not to mention a convenient walk in to town for coffee and dinner(I highly recommend the Sushi!) and being in Kings Beach we had access to so many resorts, which we definitely took advantage of! To me it is the quintessential Tahoe cabin. We can't wait to come back in the summer!

I'm hesitant to write a great review, cuz then it won't be as available when we go to rent it next time! However, it is a darling cabin, and it is really in a great location! The view of the lake is very special, and the price is extremely fair, for what you are getting! The cabin is warm, and while it's not exactly the way I would have decorated it (very spiritual, very Indian), it's still homey. It's well maintained, clean, within walking distance of the beach, fun to have some extras in the storage (bikes, umbrellas, beach toys), and all around a great place to stay. The only small downside is that the one and only bathroom is downstairs and the 2 bedrooms are upstairs . . . making it a bit of a challenge in the middle of the night. And because there is only 1 bathroom, make sure you and your fellow housemates are friendly with one another :-)

We really loved this quaint little Tahoe retreat! It was just as described and pictures were very accurate. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks and the bikes. It was a pleasure to get a view of the lake from the deck-something that is hard to come by at Lake Tahoe! The location is good- local restaurants, bakeries. The only down side would be that you don't have beach access from the cabin, (you can walk 1/4 mile and you have a nice area.) We definately look foward to our next stay here!

This place was great for my sister and her two kids to join me for a long ski weekend in Tahoe. It was very cozy (like a Tahoe cabin should be) and the kids loved it - especially the hot tub! We found it very convenient to everything we wanted to do on the lake, and enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants. It was clean and had everything we needed, and we loved all the floor pillows while we watched movies by the fire.
