Decorated to a luxury standard, with french and english antiques and fine art, this Normandy Manoir includes such features as open fires, original limestone and polished floors, panelled walls and chandeliers throughout.
The ground floor comprises of a Grand Salon (Living room), flat screen TV, panelled walls, open fire, and double french doors onto front and back gardens. Living room have 42 inch flat screen plasma TVs, DVD, VCR and english satellite is on all TVs throughout the properties.
Library of DVDs, english books, poems... There is a study with door to garden and cloakroom (wc) and second staircase up to double bedroom with vaulted ceiling. Dining room/family room, doors to gard dining table for ten and open fire.

Magnificent main stone staircase leads to the four remaining double bedrooms all with views to the front over ornamental fountain. Two have ensuite bathrooms and showers, one luxury bathroom and one shower room. The landing is light and airy and looks over the back garden
The main Manoir can be rented separately to sleep ten people.
There are two additional properties on site which can be rented separately for smaller parties, or with Le Manoir to increase sleeping capacity up to 17 in beds, plus additional z-beds for kids.
Le Petit Manoir, (a separate property 150m away) sleeps four, with two double bedrooms and two bathrooms, kitchen, (views onto private sun terrace and barbecue) new and fully fitted with granite tops, and living room, flat screen TV, DVD, english satellite.
The Longère (again 100m away) has a huge (550 square foot) fully fitted kitchen, with stripped floors and vaulted ceilings, TV, DVD. Day room/second bedroom suitable for four kids, again 550 square feet stripped floors, vaulted ceilings, down a beautiful stone staircase and out to magnificent ground floor double bedroom with additional single bed.
An L-shaped room with tea/coffee making facilities, views onto second private sun terrace and a spacious ensuite bathroom/dressing room. White double sunken bath, large separate shower, double french antique washbasin. Both these properties are decorated to the same high standard with antiques and chandeliers.
All three properties have their own private two acre garden, terraces and barbecues. Le Manoir has exclusive use of the new luxury outdoor Hotspa. There is a shared laundry room in a separate convenient building, with two washing machines and two dryers.
we have a communal "PLAY BARN" for children. Equipped with seating area, TVs,DVD and one Playstation 2s. Board games,craft table, books, toys, boules.
You can rent one, two or all three of the properties, depending on the size of your party and the price is adjusted accordingly.

What a beautiful property and a lovely family! We had a great time here! The descriptions are very accurate. It was perfectly french!! The pictures are lovely, but it is even better in person. We stayed in the separate luxury suite, 2 adults downstairs and 5 teenagers upstairs. We all had lots of space and it was very well outfitted with dishes, and anything else that you would need. The family was very friendly and helpful. Lots of good recommendations. It is located well (if you have a vehicle) to see many of the normandy sights (Mont St Michel, D-day beaches, Honfleur). Hope to return again some day soon!!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We recently stayed at this property, having rented Le Petite Manoir and Le Studio. This property was recently purchased by new owners, a family with 3 young sons. We were warmly welcomed upon our arrival and our hosts were very friendly and helpful. This estate encompasses 6 acres of beautiful gardens. We enjoyed most of our meals outdoors. We enjoyed our stay very much and found it hard to leave. We were visiting Normandy for the first time. The Normandy/D-Day beaches are easily accessible, as well as many lovely villages in the Calvados area. For groceries, we enjoyed driving to Bretteville sur Laize (boulangerie, charcuterie and a small market on Wednesdays). There are larger supermarkets closer to Caen. We highly recommend this property for those who appreciate older, charming accomodations.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children.

My husband and three children (ages 11 & 8) stayed for 4 nights at this location. We stayed in the studio and enjoyed our stay immensly. This is a great location for touring the area to include the Normandy Beaches, Caen and Bayeux. Arriving at this location felt as if we were going back in time. It is beautifully maintained and the owner was friendly and helpful in answering our questions about sightseeing in the area. This property would be wonderful as a family reunion location due to the fact they have enough room for 16+ people with more than enough room for everyone to have their own space. Our children enjoyed running around the open fields. The photos and apperance are accurate. What I would have liked to have known was that the studio was not attached to the main bedroom and bathroom downstairs. It was not a problem but It would have been good to know. We used the kitchen and the BBQ to cook while we were there with no problems. It was a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend this location to my friends. It is a wonderful place to relax after touring the area all day. It is quiet and peaceful.
