REMODEL COMPLETED 2007 This is what you call LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Situated in the North Forest Beach area on Coligny Circle at THE BREAKERS, unit#123, you not only have the ocean beach directly available and can listen to the waves break while in your condo relaxing, you also have right outside your condo, restaurants, Java Joe's Coffee Cafe, Piggly Wiggly, movie theater, and many retail shops. You do not even need a car once you check in to our place! You can shuttle from the airport and save on the car rental.

This condominium has been completely re-decorated with new furniture, wall coverings, and a remodeled kitchen and bath. This is our own personal family condominium, that we use several times a year. We have owned a few rental units, this being our "flagship" condominium. We poured the most time, money, and detail into this unit, knowing that we plan to have it for many years for our family, friends, and guests. We have received the highest compliments from EVERY guest who has stayed with us, many requesting it again for the following year.

It has an oceanfront pool and kiddie pool surrounded by a large sun deck equipped with plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. A boardwalk provides a great place to relax and offers easy access to the beach and ocean. Bedroom has a queen-size bed and the living room has a sleeper sofa. Two young adult-size bunkbeds complete the sleeping to six. Dining area seats four, with two breakfast bar stools.

A huge plus is that our unit overlooks the pool and ocean. The picture posted (photo #1)is your pool (separate KIDDY POOL)and ocean view from your private deck. It is easy to watch the kids from the deck for peace of mind and if they forget something, you just drop it over the railing to them!! At night, the palm trees are lit for a stunning view with the ocean beyond.

Weekly rentals are Saturday-Saturday. A 40% down-payment is required when reservation is made. Balance due 30 days B/4 checkin. A security deposit of $125 is returned after you check out. NO SMOKING IN UNIT OR ON DECK! GUEST IS CHARGED $125.00 TO CLEAN UNIT IF THEY SMOKE IN OR OUTSIDE ON DECK . Please do not ask to bring your pets.

  • Unit 123 and the location itself were beyond awesome! My husband and I had planned on taking our two teens; the oldest had to work, so we ended up taking our 15-year old and his three friends. The condos themselves were very well kept--the grounds, the buildings, and the pools--and unit 123 was as clean and comfortable as any 4-star hotel. We didn't hear our neighbors--the walls must be really thick because I saw kids going in to the units next to us. The size was fine for six people. We took the mattresses off the bunk beds and put them on the living room floor, along with a mat from home, and the four teens slept there. We used the bunk beds for their clothes and whatnot. One thing I really liked was the door between the living room and the sleeping areas--I could go to the bathroom, wash clothes (#123 washer and dryer works great!), etc. without waking the guys. I didn't even have to cook, because the teens could help themselves to whatever they wanted at the plaza next door. We had a great view of the beach and it was a beautiful beach--lots of room, lots of white sand, and right outside the door. Hilton Head is as classy as they come and unit #123 was a perfect match for the area and for our hopes for a great vacation. The communication with the owners, by the way, were always timely and friendly--can't beat this condo, folks!

  • I would like to thank Doug Neal and his wife for allowing us to stay in their wonderful condo in September 2007. The condo is very clean and nicely decorated, and it is in excellent location. My husband, our one-year-old daughter and myself stayed very comfortably there. I really liked that the carpet was very clean, as our girl was crawling everywhere. We also appreciated the crisp clean linens and the kitchen full of appliances. The ocean view from the balcony is really nice, too. My special compliments to Mr.Neal himself, who not only recommended the company where we could rent the crib for our baby, but also allowed us the check in earlier and leave later to accommodate our flight schedule. I would recommend anyone to have a splendid vacation in this beautiful condo owned by such nice people. Thank you.

I wish we could post all of those b/c we have not followed up and asked them to also write their comments in the guestbook here. We also maintain a welcome book down there in the condo, and most leave a sweet message about their time and also a positive comment about our unit.

  • Have been staying in the Breakers for about 5 yrs. I recently stayed in this unit for the first (but not the last) time....it's heads above the majority of units in the complex. I am a Realtor and quite "nit-picky" about cleanliness and presentability and this unit meets my "seal of approval". I can't wait to go back next summer!

  • What a fun week we had staying at the Oceanfront Condo! It was perfect for the four of us. There was always plenty to do, however the condo provided a perfect retreat for a comfortable evening just to stay in for dinner and some movies. The nights were made peaceful by leaving the patio door slightly open to hear the lulling sound of the waves rolling in. Followed by mornings of coffee on the patio overlooking the ocean; we also enjoyed the early morning walks on the beautiful beach watching the sunrise and collecting shells. Thanks for providing a perfect and affordable vacation spot!
