We really enjoyed our stay.Very roomy for 4 adults.Master bdr is awesome;roomy, great memory bed,private lanai,cool breeze at night.Close to the pool.Just a great unit in a great resort and a central location.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Just spent the month of March in this lovely condo and am looking forward to another holiday again. Condo was very well equipped, very clean and the view from the lanai was breathtaking. Very close to the pool and about a 5 minute walk to the beach. Best condo that I have rented at Kamaole Sands thus far. Thank John for making this a great holiday.Did you find this review helpful? We enjoy the unit so much we have made it our home away from home for the last four years when we come to Maui. This condo is well located on the property and in proximity to the beaches, restaurants, golf courses and anything else you may want to do. The location of the unit in the resort provides a great view of the ocean from either of the two lanis ... great to watch the humpbacks playing in the Pacific. The owner is great to work with and has recently invested significantly updating the entire kitchen and new furniture in the unit making it a pleasure to stay in. We will be back next year for our annual vacation in the sun.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

For our vacation, we wanted to find a place that was easily accessible for my 80-year old mother. This condo was perfect - our parking spot was right across from the elevator which made it easy for her to get to and from. The condo was at the end of the walkway, which made it very quiet. The view was lovely - looks right down the centre landscaped area towards the ocean - a wonderful view to wake up to each day. We were concerned about our initial check-in because we arrived after midnight, but were pleasantly surprised to find the office open 24/7 - very helpful front desk clerk. The entire complex was well-maintained and situated within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. The beach was directly across the street, where we could sunbathe, snorkel, etc. - perfect! I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful time at this condo. It was well stocked with everything we would require for an extended stay, and the owner was very considerate of our individual travel needs.The unit is located away from the road noise, but is a close walk to a wonderful beach. There is a great view of the beautiful grounds and the ocean from both lanais. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. We hope to be back again in the near future.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This is our second time staying at Kamaole Sands. We love the area and the property, it is close to everything and the beaches are great. 5-316 was a very spacious condo and was well equipped with everything we needed and more. The views off both lanais were amazing for watching sunsets over the ocean every evening. The owner John was very friendly and helpful and accommodated us and all our needs. We truly enjoyed the time we spent here and hope to return next year and stay in the same unit again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Having not used the VRBO process before I didn't quite know what to expect, however, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with how smooth everything went We stayed in this condo for 10 days in August and it was exactly as advertised. The unit was in an excellent location within the complex and was very roomy for our family of 4. We loved the tradewinds that continually blew through the unit and never once found a need to turn on the air conditioning. We particularily appreciated the beach chairs, boogey boards, cooler, and mats that were available. We put them to good use. We also enjoyed the extra lanai off the front bedroom for a "quiet get-away" (great place to read a book). The unit is close to the pool, which works well if you have kids that want to spend a lot of time in the water. The owner was very helfpul and responsive, and we will definitely book this unit again next time we visit Maui.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Jan. 26 to Feb 19/11. We found the unit very comfortable. Absolutely love the front bedroom when the tradewinds blow through. The king size bed with memory foam on it is also a bonus. Very quiet unit being on the end away from the elevators & garbage chute. Totally enjoyed it & we are planning another stay there next year.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We have been vacationing in Maui now for almost 20 years and the only resort we have stayed at is Kamaole Sands. We discovered 5-316 a year ago and thoroughly enjoyed it for the past two years. The unit has been updated, is in the best location in the resort (close to the pool, great sunset view) and is very quiet. The second lanai off the master bedroom is a bonus. The owners are great people to work with. We will be back to enjoy Maui and this unit at Kamaole Sands. We stayed here for thee weeks and could have stayed a lot longer. The unit was perfect for the four of us [All seniors]. We had lots of privacy. We spent many nights playing cards on the deck. The unit is very quiet and is located away from the garbage shute and the elevator. It has a great view of the ocean and the grounds and is near the pool. The beach is just across the street. The grounds are very nice and well groomed. We are looking forward to our next visit. This is a great condo - clean, spacious, and well stocked. It is a 2 bedroom on one level, so there are no extra stairs to contend with. It is located on the far end of the building, so it is well away from the elevator, which makes for a quiet stay and it catches the trade winds, helping to keep the unit cool. The building is away from road noise, but it is a quick walk to Kam III beach (our favorite) through beautifully kept grounds, and close to the pool The view of the gardens and the ocean is really lovely, and it is very nice to have 2 lanais. The Kamaole Sands property is very well-maintained, with the grounds and pool area being some of the nicest that we have seen. The children and young people have fun in the pool without becoming too noisy, and there are several places to barbecue around the property. We found the owner to be very helpful about our needs as visitors to his condo, and he went out of his way to make sure that our stay was exactly what we had hoped for. We would love to stay at this condo again!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I stayed at property #53779 for our honeymoon. The condo was perfect. It was very clean and well maintained and it was decorated very cute. There condo is very spacious, it has a beautiful ocean view, and it was walking distance to town. We walked to coffee, restaurants and shops every day. There are numerous beautiful beaches right across the street so you can take your pick. There are also great beaches just a short drive away. The pool is right outside the unit which we loved because you just walked out the door and the pool was there. The parking space was very close to the unit which was really convenient. We would absolutly recommend this property to friends and relatives. There is no question that we will be renting the unit again on our next trip to Kihei, Maui. It's the perfect place to stay for a vacation!!!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our favorite place on Maui!!! The condo is clean, big, beautiful with all the ammenities. Great TV & stereo. Clean, fully stocked utensils in kitchen. Outstanding view on Lanai. Also Lanai off of master bedroom. Great bathrooms with lots of room and nice showers. Very comfortable and cozy. It's the best place at Kamaole Sands, Building 5, quiet away from it all, yet with a view of the ocean and pool. Could live in this condo year-round, easily. And our teen-age kids love it too! Have stayed there numerous times. It's our favorite spot. The Zarek Family, Burlington, WIRecommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
