Set on a gentle hill, this picturesque cottage is the perfect place for your fun Summer, fall or winter vacation on the Cape. Harwich is a very central location and is close to many ponds lakes and the Ocean, as well as the Cape Cod Bike Path.
This is a large cottage, great for two families or an extended family. Of course, a small family or group would find it intimate, and each person would have their choice of lovely rooms!
John Joseph Road is picturesqe road with homes on large lots flanked by lovely gardens that remind one of a tranquil Cape Cod from years gone by.
The house is two stories, rustically landscaped. In back there is a porch, very private. The cottage is fully winterized.
There are several beaches less than 1 and 1/2 miles away, and you are surronded by water, woods and trees.
The renowed Cranberry Valley golf course is located behind the property, but you won't be able to see it from the house.
The very private cottage on a huge lot has a full kitchen, two downstairs bedrooms and two upstairs bedrooms, porch and working firelpace.
All walls have recently been painted and it has hardwood floors throughout
Only five to ten minutes to fresh water ponds or the ocean!
You will enjoy the large lot and nice neighborhood on a tree lined street. The proximity of local grocery stores makes it a convenient location.
It is close to Chatham and Orleans, as well as the Cape Cod Bike Path.

The Cape is great. I go down there multiple times each year to enjoy it's scenic beauty.
Why the Owner Chose Harwich
Harwich is a neighborhood that is very picturesque. It is close to many interesting locations on Cape Cod, the Cape Cod National Seashore, The Cape Cod Bike Path, many lakes ponds and beaches and the Cranberry Valley Golf Course. There are some new hiking trails in Harwich, plus just walking across the street to the pond and looking up at the stars. There is a new bike path that links Harwich and Chatham as well.
The Unique Benefits of this Cottage
It is very private and restful. I love to have a cup of coffee in the morning on the back porch and listen to birdsong.
