The place was beautiful, the ocean views were unbelievable from the living room and deck on the main level and the two king size bedrooms and their deck on the second floor. We loved how you decorated the place. It had everything we needed to enjoy our time at the beach including beach chairs and umbrella, and access to the beach was so easy. Basically we set-up chairs and umbrella about every day, and just went back and forth to the beach whenever we wanted. The kitchen had all the essentials to enjoy cooking-in on mornings and nights we didn't go out to eat, but there were plenty of great places to eat out any time we wanted. Two weeks gave us time to enjoy the beach and also drive around to enjoy everything else available between Myrtle and Georgetown. Great fresh seafood markets in Murrels Inlet, and even played golf at Indian Wells which was a nice course on the Garden City Connector. Thank you for such a great place, and it was so nice to meet both you and Sanna while we were there. Definitely coming back.

My wife and I and our dog really enjoyed this house. we've stayed here three times including this year and were very happy. The rooms were great and caalso the decks off the bedrooms and living room. We especially enjoyed how well we were treated by the owners.

This is a beautiful home just steps from the beach. And while it may not be directly oceanfront, the view of the beach is still great. The home is beautifully decorated and full of extra amenities, like TVs in the bedrooms, and a computer in the living area. The owners are wonderful to work with and have thought of everything to make their guests welcome and comfortable. We truly felt pampered. The king beds were so comfortable and my husband and I both slept so well that we hated to go back to our own bed at home! The kitchen was well-stocked and we fixed some wonderful breakfasts while we stayed there. I prefer to eat dinner at a restaurant while on vacation but, had I wanted to, we could've cooked a full course meal every night. The porches are wonderfully comfortable and relaxing and quickly became my favorite place to hang out and people watch. The house is quiet and cool and everything worked just as it should. The location in Garden City is perfect, just a couple of miles to Murrell's Inlet and fantastic restaurants, and even closer to a Kroger and Super Walmart. Plus, the Garden City Pier is a great beach walk. The real bonus was being able to bring our little four-legged child, Sophie, a mini-Goldendoodle, with us to the beach. She loves the ocean and it added so much to our vacation being able to enjoy her enthusiasm as she raced in the surf and made friends, both canine and human, on the beach every day. Garden City is one of our favorite destinations and finding this home was truly a blessing. We cannot wait to return in the future.

Our family just got home from this rental today and we miss it already! The decor of the home was beautiful in every way. The bedrooms were comfortable had had the feel of a high-end residence instead of a bunch of mismatched furnishings thrown together (like other places we've stayed). We really appreciated the small touches, like hand soap and lotion, trash bags, cleaning supplies and all of the beach "necessities" like boogie boards, beach chairs and bicycles. In hindsight, we could have left all of our own things at home and lightened our load tremendously! The location was ideal, in that we did not have to pay the premium for beachfront, but still enjoyed the convenience of being a few steps away. The pool was also a few steps away and was clean and cool (saltwater or saline, I think). The decks were our favorite part of the house- they were large with nice furnishings and were great for late afternoon people watching. There was also ample parking for at least 4 cars if necessary. Overall, we had so much fun and are already planning our trip back next year. This is a beautiful home at a wonderful price... and the owners are great as well :)

The house is extremely well appointed, has all the conveniences, is beautifully decorated, and the beds are as comfortable as the ones in our home. I would not hesitate to recommend this house. The owners are professional, friendly, and very quick to respond to requests. This will be our first choice in accommodations from here on out!

We had a wonderful week in this house. It has the perfect location with views of and easy access to the ocean. To also have a pool just a few steps away was an added bonus. The house is beautifully decorated and nicely furnished. The owners were so nice and wonderful to work with. We really enjoyed going to eat at all the local restaurants and spending the remainder of the evening sitting on the wonderful desk or going to the pier and listening to the free bands. What could be better? I highly recommend this location.

This house is absolutely beautiful inside and out and is in the perfect location for a wonderful family vacation! We had a great experience and the owners were very helpful. Just returned from an awesome week at Portobello 2. This home is furnished very comfortably with everything you could possibly need or want. Owners are very accommodating. Portobello 2 was very imoressive with the location, decor, size and price. The owner was very cooperative and very receptive to our needs.
