Beautiful Beach!!

We stayed in the Building 1 condo in April 2011 for our spring break with our two elementary aged boys. The condo was just as described and was clean and well-stocked! This condo is super close to the indoor pool which was great since the weather was a bit cool and windy when we were there. We loved the views from the veranda over the undeveloped area and it was a short walk to the boardwalk to the sugar sand beach. We also enjoyed the basketball court and the book/movie library. This is a great complex for families with all the activities, pools and beautiful, wide beach. The only negative (and maybe this isn't a negative at all) is that it is quite a drive into Gulf Shores for restaurants or activities in town. It is very close to the ferry, which was nice. Overall, we had a great time, the condo is just as described and Don and Gayle were a pleasure to rent from. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a great, relaxing beach vacation. We had a most wonderful vacation at the Plantations Condo! Easy access to the marvelous beach, pools close by, lovely accomodations - clean, nicely decorated, laundry nearby - a delightful and relaxing time. Thanks so much!

This was a very nice unit. We apprieciated the nicely stocked kitchen and the cute 'beach theme' deco. If we should require a 2-bedroom again, we will certainly try to get this unit. Thnak you!

We had a very nice stay over spring-break. The condo was exactly as promised and worked out well. We played a lot of golf and tennis and had some nice runs through the Bon Sequor wildlife refuge. We would definitely consider coming back again.

WOW - what a wonderful place. My family had a great time. The plantation's amenities were plentiful. I never imagined my 3 yr. old son would have such a good time. Now all he does is asked me when we are going back to the beach and to the ocean. Thank you Don & Gale, for sharing your place with my family - we will be back and probably sooner than later.

Our stay at this unit couldn't have been better. Everything was as promised and the covered pool, etc. was so convenient. We were impressed with the grounds and the friendliness of staff and other guests. We felt very welcomed. I would highly recommend this unit.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Plantations resort. The Kiva Dunes was a great golf course to play and the beach was beautiful. The location of this unit was fabulous with great access to one of the pools and to the beach. A great relaxing vacation.
