Lovely and Like New This villa is as nice as it could be. Great layout, furniture and fixtures. We found it neat, clean and well supplied with dishes, utensils, and appliances. Everything is either new or like new. Many pleasant features -- walk-in closet, jacuzzi tub, two showers, balcony accessible from living room and bedroom. View of beach and grounds is beautiful. The photos in the listing are accurate. Comfortable bed. Plenty of linens and towels. Good selection of books to read. Two flat screen TVs with HD cable. Palmetto Dunes is as nice a resort area as it could be. High quality roads, parking areas, landscaping, facilities, bike and walking trails, and impressive buildings. It is gated, safe, and quiet. We are not golfers, but the golf courses are spectacular. We are really happy to be here.

Your place is very nice. Our adult children have really enjoyed having a place of their own. We are all having a great time. Nice to know there is a great one bedroom for rent. Merry Christmas. K

We wanted to let you know we had an awesome time at your condo. It was clean, well equiped and very comfortable. The grounds of the complex were beautiful and very well maintained. Thank you so much for allowing us to rent your place. We are hoping you will consider doing so in the future.

My husband and I stayed at this villa for a few days at the end of October. The complex is lovely and very well maintained, and the parking under the building is very nice. We swam in the heated pool and relaxed in the hot tub, but did not take advantage of the owner-provided bikes and beach chairs. This unit is a one bedroom, two bath villa with a nice view of the ocean from the living area and the bedroom. Both baths have separate, walk-in showers. The owner’s photo accurately shows the view, but was probably taken a few years ago because the palm tree in the foreground is much higher now. The interior is spacious and comfortable for the most part. The owner has provided not one, but two recliners that are very comfortable. However, the pull out couch does not sit well, and the pillows for the sofa bed were not in the unit. While we didn’t plan to use the sofa bed, extra pillows in the master bedroom would have been nice. The main issue we had was the poor quality of the housekeeping. Many dishes and most of the silverware in the cupboards and drawers were encrusted with dried food. While the sheets were clean, the bed was made using a blanket with a quarter-sized blob of dark, dried blood or other substance which we didn’t notice until we made the bed after our first night. As a result, we spent precious vacation time washing dishes and bedding. As I was scanning VRBO, I noticed that some owners have a separate supervisor who double checks the unit and the housekeeping service between renters. As a previous resort villa owner on another island back in the 1980's and 90's, this is what we did, and something that this owner may wish to consider especially with the hefty cleaning fee. I brought our concerns to the owner via email, and he responded quickly, advising me that the unit would be undergoing renovation in November, including “new stack washer/dryer, new water heater, new cabinetry in kitchen with handles and grips, new granite counters in kitchen and both baths, new tile floors in entry, kitchen utility closet and baths, new garbage disposal, (and) new book case cabinets in the living room.” These changes will make this lovely unit even more inviting, especially if the housekeeping issues are addressed.
Owner response:Thanks for your comments. Our housekeeping service does have a supervisor that can be called at any time.

This was probably the best condo we've stayed at after more than 30 years of visiting Hilton Head. The location, of course is great. Windsor II is a very nice complex on the beach and the recent renovations result in a very clean and well kept appearance. The unit itself is very comfortable with much better than average furnishings, appliances, kitchenware, and television. The cable is a bit confusing (whose cable isn't?) but after figuring it out, it provides excellent choices. The recent paint gives the unit a very, very clean apparence. The owner is very responsive to email and obviously treats the property with pride, as if he will be staying there this weekend as opposed to just being an income investment he never visits. It's no wonder that the unit is in high demand. When we return to HH island, this will be the first place we check for an available rental.

My family and I enjoyed our fabulous stay at this condo. I was so impressed with the upgraded amenities of the condo; the unit itself was spacious and clean, and I could tell it was newly remodeled. The kitched was fully stocked with everything we could have needed, there was a washer/dryer in the unit for our convenience, and the outdoor balcony where we spent some of our meals had an exquisitely beautiful ocean view. The Owner's Locker was available for our personal use, and it included bikes, beach chairs, and umbrellas. The pool area was spacious-including two pools (one for children which had a water "mushroom" and bubbling jets for their amusement) as well as a hot tub, restrooms and plenty of beach chaise lounges. The location couldn't have been better-the unit is right on the ocean. The property was so very well maintained. The restaurants surrounding the condo were so convenient-it was hard to choose! We really loved this Vacation, and can't wait to come back next year! I woud gladly recommend this villa to anyone. Thank you!

We have stayed at this property 3 times and will continue to do so. The villa is as advertised and the location can't be beat. The owners are very nice, the best we have ever rented from.

We stayed in this villa for the third time in July 08'. First of all, I want you to know that me and my family will more than likely stay here each year from here till we retire from our jobs. We travelled with family who stayed in another Windsor Place Villa and hands down, they were jealous of our place. I have to admit we did compare. The owners of this villa really took time to make certain that things were very clean and up to date. We have already booked this villa for next year we enjoyed it soooo much. The views are wonderful and its beautifully decorated. Renting was so easy from the owners and there were never any hassles. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation this is definately it. This villa is the reason we return to Hilton Head each year because it is worry free. The pool is completely upgraded for the little ones, the owners have updated practically everything in the villa and this is the most relaxing vacation that my family of 4 takes every year. If you are considering other options let me sway you. This is in a private, security checked community. This villa over-lookes the ocean from the family room and the bedroom and has access to the balcony from both by sliding glass doors (which is rare) and it takes less than one minute to the beach, less than 30 seconds to the more than awesome 2 pools!!!! and I can't say enough about the location between the villa and restaurants. It is very centrally located. I have told several friends about this villa so good luck booking a week here. I can't say enough nice things about the owner(s) other than I am completely jealous. If you want to try other places, the island is a very beautiful place but if you are looking for luxury at a reasonable rate I promise you this is where you want to stay!!!!

We have made many trips to Hilton Head over the last 20 years and have stayed in a lot of different places. We love Palmetto Dunes especially the Leamington area where this villa is located. This was one of the best units we have ever rented. The oceanfront location is great. The views are spectacular. This unit has all the amenities you need and is very clean. The bikes and beach chairs that were provided were an added plus. The owners were great to work with. We will definitely be back.

This condo is awesome, it exceeded out expectations. Windsor II is in immaculate condition. The rental included bikes, beach chairs and other gear in the storage area. I enjoyed the golf and my wife the shopping. We both enjoyed the restaurants and Harbor Town Yacht area. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone. Sincerely, Patrick and Laura

I am so glad that our friends referred us to this beatiful condo! We had such a fun trip! My husband loved the golf courses, I loved the shopping at the outlet malls, and we both loved checking our the beatiful yachts and strolling around beatiful Shelter Cove Marina. The beach-side access of the condo was just what we were looking for. This was a great vacation spot that we will hopefully be visiting again very soon.

I really enjoyed having my cup of coffee on the balcony while I watched the sun rise over the ocean. Hearing the sound of the ocean every morning was the most relaxing way to start the day! We even saw deer a few mornings! I was really able to de-stress on this vacation-Thank you!
