But you do not have to travel to enjoy your stay. A ten-minute walk brings you to some great fishing territory, and five minutes more brings you to the town of Fairplay. On the main floor of this home you can unwind in front of the entertainment center on large comfortable leather furniture next to a soothing woodstove. Beautiful, 13,822-foot Mount Silverheels is right out your picture window. The kitchen, a full bath, and a bedroom comprises the rest of the main level. The upstairs consists of a large bedroom, with a semi-private hide-a-bed area.
A reasonable 23 mile drive brings you to the famous ski slopes of Breckenridge. So you can get there in good time, yet escape the large crowds later and return to your quiet, secluded get-away. Or a beautiful 33 mile drive brings you to the popular Arkansas River recreation area.
