Nestled in Colorado's scenic Pike National Forest, this wonderful home offers a serene setting complete with two converging streams. With 2900 square feet of living space, four sleeping areas and a beautiful country kitchen, this abode can comfortably accommodate six to eight people and is ideal for families.
New construction (completed in the spring of 1999) and new furnishings throughout the home provide all the amenities for a carefree vacation. Four decks on two sides of the home overlook the streams which roar in the background throughout most of the year. The master bedroom on the third floor features a new queen-size bed, gas fireplace, its own private bath with shower and jacuzzi tub, walk-in closet, and a large deck from which you can almost reach out and touch the adjacent evergreen trees. At night, the view from the master bedroom deck is magnificent, as the sky seems to come alive with millions of twinkling stars.
The first-floor bedrooms have new queen-size beds with down comforters in addition to an extra queen-size sofa for a fourth couple and a beautiful bathroom with tub and shower.
The corner wood fireplace, complete with firewood, is available for guests' use, as is the satellite TV, VCR, CD player, pool table and player piano, in the great room which is tastefully decorated with new furniture. Decorations throughout the home, including numerous wildlife paintings, present an attractive ambiance for guests' pleasure.
A reasonable 25 mile drive brings you to the famous ski slopes of Breckenridge. So you can get there in good time, yet escape the large crowds later and return to your quiet, secluded get-away. Or a beautiful 35 mile drive brings you to the popular Arkansas River recreation area.
