Great views from every window, 1300 square feet on one level, a three block walk to downtown and adjacent shopping for basics make this one of the finest vacation condos in town. Our Canadian home was built in 2005, is Beautifully furnished and can comfortably handle several adults or a family with young children. Our guests have told us that this condo is simply First Class. Please click on the ''comments'' button at the end of this description to see what guests have written in our guest book. By the way, for Starbucks lovers there is one next door. A one level, open floor plan creates a very spacious and comfortable space that can handle several people without feeling crowded. It is a corner unit which has a view of 40 miles of spectacular peaks from Cascade Peak and Mount Rundell in Banff past the majestic Three Sisters in Canmore. As you can see in the photos every room has stunning views.
Guests who have stayed at our home have said that neither words or the photos on the website do the views justice.
The town of Banff, 14 miles away, offers many additional shops, restaurants, museums and cultural activities.
Five downhill ski areas, including world class Lake Louise, are within twenty to fourty five minutes of the condo. After skiing coming home to underground heated parking and a rooftop hot tub, six stories above Canmore, will add to your pleasure. For your convinence you can leave your skis in a personal locked storage closet adjacent to your parking spot.
For nordic skiers, the Canmore Nordic Center, which hosted the 1988 Olympic nordic events and is five minutes away, offers tremendous nordic skiing in the winter and world class mountain biking in the summer. A major upgrade of the facility in the summer of 2005 allows it to host the prestigious World Cup every two years. There are 84 miles of groomed tracked and skate skiing trails several kilometers of which are lit for night skiing.
The Bow River, which runs through the heart of Canmore, offers world class fishing, gentle rafting/canoeing in addition to riverside trails that provide hours of peaceful walks or bike rides.
Golfers will love the five world class courses within 30 minutes. Two Robert Trent Jones courses in Kananaskis Country, Silvertip, world famous Banff Springs and Stewart Creek are some of Canada's most beautiful courses and will provide enjoyment for all skill levels.
A well equipped fitness room, 24 hr concierge service from an outstanding local property management company and Wireless high speed Internet service in the condo provide you with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The rates include a cleaning of the unit when you leave. You can purchase additional cleaning service through our management company if you wish.
We've loved sharing our place with people and have done our best to ''do it right.

My family rented unit 53885 for the Christmas period. Right from the initial contact everything was handled in a professional manner. The owner responded to all questions immediately either by email or phone call The complex is located in an ideal setting close to local shops, a 10 minute walk into town and minutes away from a variety of walking trails. The building was clean well kept and secure, parking was convenient The unit itself was well laid out clean and well stocked for 6 people. Other than food we didn't need to purchase anything. I have already recommended this proprty to friendsRecommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

The condo was excellent value for money and we greatly enjoyed our stay. Only issue we encountered was with the WiFi-in that we could not find the connection specific to the unit. Therefore we had to use an unsecured connection. The unit had a great deal of room and was perfect for our week long stay. Canmore itself was a real find and we loved the easy access to great and inexpensive restaurants-we already are planning our next visit.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

Great central location in the heart of Canmore. Easy walking distance to all amenities, restaurants, shopping, main street and hiking trails. Spent 5 great days in November exploring the town, coffee shops, restaurants and hiking trails that you can access without having to drive. This makes for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The condo was very spacious and well equipped. The views of the mountains from all the windows are tremendous. The owners were very enjoyable to talk with and were very responsive to any emails or phone calls. The deck is small and due to the central location can be noisy when the windows are open.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

If I had any idea of how noisy this condo was, I never would have stayed there. We were booked into this condo for 5 nights. We left after 4 nights and gladly paid for a motel in a much quieter location. This unit is located at the main entrance to a Safeway. The stoplight at this entrance ensures that trucks, including tandem trailer trucks marking deliveries to Safeway, stop right outside the window and go through low gears to get going again. We found ourselves avoiding "our home" between 5PM and 10PM when traffic, and therefore noise, was worst. We did enjoy the rooftop hot tub, but we had to use the tub in an adjacent building because the one in our building was closed by the health department. The lack of air conditioning (understandable given the location) meant that we had to keep the windows open, so the condo was either too hot or too noisy. Speaking of windows, the crank handle on one of the casement windows was inoperable when we arrived. The repair man came and did the best he could, but he didn't have the correct part for that specific window. Yes, the view was good, but the stoplight and utility lines are also part of it.Owner response: This is the first and only time I have had feedback like this in the 4 years we have had the place. Bummer. I do wish the tenants had contacted me with their concerns when they were there. I would have been happy to help them find an alternative and compensated them for their dissppointment. My intent is to insure a postive experience for each and every person who stays there. A look at other reviews will indicate that.

Location, Location, Location! This property is close to main street and close to groercies. We had an excellent stay after working out a couple of glitches. The space is big and open, lot of space for the kids to run around. The furniture is comfortable, and the kitchen is stocked on all the necessaries.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

Wonderful location with views of Three Sisters and Ha-Ling peaks, yet convenient to Starbucks for morning coffee and grocery stores for last minute trips to pick up cooking ingredients. Walking trail along a stream just a block away was a great way to make your way downtown. Very easy to get back to hiking trails nearby as well on the interstate towards ski resorts, Banff, etc. Electric fireplace and flat screen TV were very nice; large living area was great for relaxing and visiting with friends. Kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and wonderful for cooking group meals. Owner was very prompt via email and phone answering questions and was very easy to work with. Only complaint was the lack of some essentials such as dish soap, extra toilet paper, etc.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

Where to begin? Waking each morning to mountain views from every window; perfect weather; brilliant sunsets and risingmoons above the mountains; hiked Moraine and Emerald lakes; Lake Louise, Takakkaw Falls and in Johnson Canyon; walked on the glacier at Columbia Icefield; took the boast cruise on on Lake Minewanka. Unbelievable scenery--everywhere!! Our favorite restaurants were: Chez Francois in Canmore for breakfast; Earl's in Banff for lunch; and Murietta's in Canmore for dinner. Many thanks for sharing you condo with us. LOCATION WAS EVERYTHING!!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/2

We did quie a bit of research before our Canmore trip, trying to select the best digs for our exploration fo the Banff area. We made the right choice. The Canmore condo was top notch in all facets. The location was convenient to downtown (easy walking distance), to the store (next door), and centraly located to our places of interest, K Country, Banff, Lake Louise, and Ice Fields. The condo was spotless, well appointed, and cozy. Views and scenery are ... I don't have the words!!! The photos don't do it justice. Grill a steak on the barbie, grab a beer, and soak it in from the patio. The owners were extremely helpful and seemed genuinely intersted in making sure we enjoyed our stay. Someday we'll get back to Canmore, and we won't stay anywhere else.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers.

Year Purchased: 2005
About the owner: My wife Cathy and and I live in Longmont, Colorado,, 35 miles north of Denver. She is an attorney and I an the Executive Director of an organization that provides help to homeless families. Although we love Colorado and feel blessed to be here we fell in love with the Canadian Rockies a few years ago and were fourtunate enough to buy a spectular place in Canmore. We were the second person to buy in our building a year before construcition began so we were able to get 'the best' floor plan and views. Everyone who stays says the pictures don't do the views justice. We love sharing it with others. I love taking with people about Canmore and our property so feel free to give us a call with any questions.
Why the Owner Chose Canmore:
Canmore is just stunning and the small town feel is much more relaxed than Banff. Things are not as expensive as Banff either. We also love the miles of trails in town that are along Policemans Creek and the Bow River. Access is just across the street from the condo.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
location, location, location!!! roof top hot tub has most stunning views of anyplace in downtown.
