My wife and I celebrated 20 yrs. staying at unit # 310 in May 2008. The condo exceeded our expectations. First off, it was spotless. New bed, queen w/ 4 posts. Like sleeping on a cloud. Very well equipped kitchen, everything works fine. The only negative, the spices in the rack didn't like the humidity. Well lit double sink bathroom w/ plenty of mirror. Living room and bedroom each had a new tv. The view from both bedroom and living room was spectacular, provided you like the ocean, palms and mountains. The bamboo and wicker furnishings throughout the condo remind you.....tropical latitude. Lanai furniture included 2 wrought iron chairs and table and a wicker lounge chair. Ahh yes....sitting on the lanai with a kona, tasting the pacific breeze while being held spell bound by the west Maui mountains. The staff was friendly and the condo owner was very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. The laundry room was literally 7 steps away from the front door........across the walkway...............no, you can't hear anything. The pool looked nice & clean and the bbq area was clean. Good central location.

We stayed in room # 310 at the Kauhale Makai in September 2008. What a fabulous room ! We booked the room thru aaoceanfront - our second time using this company. Everything was perfect ! The condo is sparkling from top to bottom. It has two flat screen tv's , a beautiful kitchen, great balcony. The bathroom has a huge double sink and the bed was a four poster bed with a pillow top mattress. The only drawback was that the room did not have a washer/dryer but each floor has a nice laundry room and the room for our floor is located directly outside # 310. This property is set back a little from the ocean so while we had a good ocean view, we were not oceanfront. The pool area is in the center of the complex and was very clean. In the afternoon, it becomes very windy. But overall, a wonderful stay

Our condo is one of the nicest condominiums within the Kauhale Makai (aka - Village by the Sea) Resort. We are located on the third floor in the Antherium building on the RIGHT HAND CORNER of the complex. From our private lanai, which extends from the living room sliding glass doors to the master bedroom sliding glass doors, there is a fantastic ocean view.
Our unit is approximately 100 yards from the ocean - we are OCEANFRONT and BEACHFRONT. NO CROSSING THE STREET TO WIGGLE YOUR TOES IN THE WARM MAUI SAND! Our beach (Waipu'iLani) is not crowded with tourists and is perfect for long morning strolls, beautiful sunset walks, collecting sea shells and watching the windsurfers!
We have a fully stocked kitchen with stocked spice rack, coffee maker, wine glasses, tea pot, blender, rick cooker - all the ammenities you might need for a great meal at home. If you are planning a day at the beach we have provided beach chairs, beach towels, beach mats, and umbrella! Our master bedroom features a queen size swedish style teak bed and ceiling fan. Our buiding is one of the few in the area with a NEW CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - this condo will stay as cool as you like it!
We are only minutes away from Maui's world famous beaches and renowned golf courses and restaurants. Kihei's central location is convenient to most of Maui's natural attractions not to mention restaraunts, shopping, grocery stores and entertainment.
