FM radio is limited in the Tahoe area so if you enjoy music, you will appreciate this amenity.
Our condominium consists of three levels as follows:
The first level includes a large master bedroom with a king-size bed, cable TV/DVD, and private deck. There is also a second bedroom with queen bed and cable TV. This level contains a full bath as well as a full-size washer and dryer.
The second level includes an open kitchen with seating for three at the counter as well as a dining area with a table that comfortably seats six. The kitchen includes a new ceramic cook-top and oven, a new microwave, and dishwasher. Small appliances include a coffeemaker, toaster, blender, griddle, wok, fondue pot, and mixer. The kitchen is very well equipped with pots, pans, utensils, and dishes. The family room includes a woodburning fireplace with gas starter and vaulted ceiling with fan. The entertainment center in the family room includes cable TV/DVD/CD/VHS. There is also a deck on this level with a gas barbecue and dining table. This floor also features a second full bath as well as a small gaming area that hosts a cable TV with Nintendo and Sega gaming systems and games... bring your PlayStation II or XBox if you like. We also provide access to our PC which allow you to enjoy music from our personal iTunes library or access Pandora web radio. For those that have a laptop with wireless capabilities, we provide wireless internet access too!
The third level is a loft that overlooks the family room and includes two twin beds as well as two portable futon mattresses. We suggest you bring sleeping bags if you plan to use the futons.
Our condominium is located within Kingswood Village in Kings Beach and is just five miles southeast of Northstar Ski Resort. It's just over half a mile from the Lake Tahoe beach as well as a 24 hour Safeway in Kings Beach. It is centrally located to 12 ski resorts in the Tahoe area and just 10 minutes from the North Shore casinos.
Kingswood Village offers a large pool and wading pool built in 2001 as well as three tennis courts, a small exercise room, and a sauna. Kingswood Village is one of the best-kept complexes in the Tahoe area and has numerous tall pines and cedar trees that remind you that you are in alpine country.

Hello, I'm Gail Barrington and I've lived in Rocklin, CA located in the Sacramento Valley for nearly 30 years. My husband, Joe, a transplant from the San Francisco Bay Area, has enjoyed more than 20 years in Rocklin and has been employed by Hewlett Packard since 1981. Our son, Michael, is 20 and our daughter, Nikki, is 18,and both are currently in college.Both are looking forward to their first trip to the condo without mom and dad…imagine! We've all enjoyed spending time at our home away from home in the beautiful Lake Tahoe Basin.

In 1991, when our daughter was just 6 months old and our son was 2, we purchased a pop-up tent camper. We enjoyed 13 years of camping with our kids and their buddies on the California coast near Santa Cruz and at Sugar Pine Point, Lake Tahoe. After years of searching for just the right Lake Tahoe property, we purchased our condo in Kingswood Village, Kings Beach CA. We love the beautiful and well kept tree covered property as well as it’s many amenities and accessible location.

From the moment you walk into this Kings Beach Condo you will not be disappointed by the amenities this condo has to offer. Everything the owners describes on their web site is more than accurate. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean. If there was a problem, the owner is only an email away and they get back to you in a timely manner. This is by far the best value I've had in accommodations and that includes the beautiful surroundings and great places downtown offers as far as eateries and restaurants and shops. Reno is only 40 min away! For sure a place I plan on visiting again.

We have been renting condos and houses in Notrh Lake Tahoe for the past twenty years -- Tahoe Vista, Carnelian Bay, Kings Beach and Northstar -- and our two stays in the Barrington vacation home this ski season have been, by far, our best experiences yet. Our first stay -- a two-and-a-half week ski holiday in Dec/Jan -- was perfect! We were surpised and delighted by how nice the condo was furnished and decorated, and especially by how well was equipped and how well it was provisioned! We do a fair amount of gourmet cooking, and we brought quite a bit of equipment with us; we should not have bothered! The kitchen had just about everything we needed! It was VERY well equipped -- as was all the rest of the condo!! Also, it was great to have so many condiments and paper products there before we arrived. It saved a lot of time and bother since we did not have to run out to buy these things. We were truly surprised by this. It was a first for us! Our second stay – a week-and-a-half in March – was equally delightful. If all goes well. we plan to spend our two ski vacations next season right there in the Barrington Condo!!

It was fabulous. I skied in thigh to waist high powder for 3 days. My quads are still complaining. I did ski yesterday and literally lost sight of the fall line from all the powder. The groomers skied like they were topped with baby powder. Needless to say it was extraordinary. The condo was great once again. We’ve developed a tradition of having fondue on the last night and it was perfect. The services there are great as well. We had deep snow two mornings and each day the plow ran early. I appreciated that as I was out early to be on first chair of the day (yes, love those first tracks). I-80 was closed all day Thursday and didn’t open until noon yesterday. What could I do but ski that morning? We had to leave in single line convoys but, it only took an extra hour overall. Not bad as I have spent an extra three or four hours in similar conditions. Thank you again. It was perfect. Okay, maybe Jane and the girls being there would be better. Then again, no one else here really ~gets~ powder. Parker

My family rented this unit for 9 days last summer, our stay was great and we hope to rent the unit again sometime. Clean, plenty of room for everyone, super well equipped, wireless internet. The owners were very attentive and nice to do business with. I did not really want to submit a review as I don't want to have to compete with all you folks out there for this unit when it comes time for me to rent it again!!! Girls Tahoe Weekend Retreat This condo is centrally located, has every possible amenity and is clean with three separate bedrooms (one is the loft) two baths. You can swim in the pool, the beach or golf---and the Ritz Carlton and Hyatt are just down the street. You pay way less and receive even more amenities. Kingswood Village #132 The place was just great. We all had a really, really nice time. I could tell that the owners had put a lot of thought into it and to what one might need. I felt the condo to be even more than was represented. We had stayed at Kingswood Village a year ago at about the same time, and the place was a little bit bigger, but your place was way better/and more tastefully decorated, with comfy beds, washer and dryer access, plenty of paper goods which I did not expect at all. Very close to King's Beach. I would definitely like to come again. The morning we left, we took our little grand kids on a nature walk through the complex and collected little treasures like pine cones , feathers, etc. They had a ball. They really had fun swimming in the pool there. Your Family room set up was just wonderful for us. We had everyone over for dinner one night and we had plenty of room. We used the gas barbeque, which was really easy to use. The decks off the bedroom and the other off the family room made the unit even more spacious. And we actually used it numerous times. The grand kids really liked the video about the bear and the boy who goes back in time. Plenty of kitchen bowls, pots, dishes aplenty, as well as glasses etc. Like I said, there were a lot of little things that were provided that we didn't expect to find there. Plenty of linens with back up linens and plenty of comfy, soft extra blankets. Kingswood Village Complex is layed out with as much thought as well. There are beautiful pine trees throughout. One really feels in a forested setting. Even though there are units on either side, it was quiet. When we arrived both the grounds and the inside the unit were impeccably clean. I would love to come back with couple friends or my girlfriends. Five of us went up for my brother's birthday weekend. The condo was so fabulous - the fireplace, being able to listen to music on our iPod with the speakers in the living room, the comfortable beds and blackout shades(!), the location, the barbecue, and every condiment you could ever think of needing for a meal! We snowboarded by day and hung at the condo drinking wine by night - it was so comfortable and sweet we didn't need to leave. Gail was gracious, kind, and responsive from our inquiry until our check out. Five thumbs up :) Thank you Barringtons for sharing your space!!
