Charming, Comfortable, and Convenient

This condo was perfect for our blended family's week's vacation in San Clemente. The apartment,beautifully appointed in a tropical - theme, was fully-stocked with everything from a blender to beach books to Monopoly (which we taught our grandsons; obviously, very well, as one of the twins won his first game!) The children's room is delightful; five year old Emma, gasped, with pleasure, upon first encountering it! We loved having coffee and breakfast on the balcony, soaking in the scenery, fresh salt air, and the sound of the surf crashing on the beach. There's lots of room for storage of boards, chairs and sand toys. Parking is at a premium in San Clemente, so the underground parkings spaces and proximity to the beach (short walking distance) were very welcome! The nearest beach is family-friendly; with swings, picnic tables, restrooms, snack bar, and a good seafood restaurant. On the other side of the pier is a popular surfing beach.The heated pool provides a great alternative to the beach, especially, on a cloudy and cool day. In addition, we loved being able to walk to the center of San Clemente and check out the charming boutiques, shops, and restaurants. Side trips to Mission San Juan Capistrano and nearby Casa Romantica are a must for those who love history, architecture, and beautiful gardens.The owners were very accommodating to our every request. We did feel like we were staying at a friends' home. For some people, the trains passing through might be problematic, but we actually, found them comforting (and the three year old LOVED them!)

Our family has had the pleasure of several years of summer vacations at this lovely condo. It is warm, spacious, and comfortable, suiting any of our needs. The owners are thoughtful, welcoming, and attentive, ensuring that our stay be the best possible. We are always so sad when it is time to leave, but we're already looking forward to next summer!

We stay in San Clemente every year, usually in this condo complex. 2011 was our second year in a row staying in this particular unit. This is by far the nicest unit we have ever rented! The decor is great, the location is great, the unit is clean and the owners are so accommodating. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this condo to a friend or family member. You will love it!

What a fantastic week! This rental was perfect for our vacation. Everything was very clean, nicely decorated and fully stocked to make us feel right at home. Angela was super helpful and accomodating. The view of the pier and beach from the balcony is spectacular! We have three small children and they loved the bunk beds and open family room. The pool was also a plus when they wanted a break from the waves. We will definitely be back!! :-)

Beautiful home, clean, decorated beautifully, everything you need to feel at home. Angela was wonderful. She was great about communicating with me before our trip and helped me know what to expect. The views are wonderful. It is just a short walk to nice restaurants and shopping and only a skip down the hill to be at the beach and the pier. We would most definitely stay here again.

Thanks a million! We recently helped our son move to California from Michigan and wanted a nice place to enjoy apart from the moving events. Angela was very helpful, professional and great about working with us on the details. The condo was perfect for us and the photos accurately represent the unit. It's very clean and comfortable, which are our top priorities. The furnishings and decor are similar to our home which made us feel extra cozy. The kitchen is well appointed and inviting to enjoy dining in, which we also appreciated. It's close to everything, an easy walk to plenty of restaurants, shops and the ocean! The view is exquisite! The pool and the hot tub were our personal favorites simply because it rained during our entire stay...and as unfortunate as that was...this place was the saving grace! We still enjoyed ourselves because of the wonderful amenities here. So, keep that in mind when choosing a vacation rental (we did and we're glad). If it rains, you can still have fun here in the pool and relax in the hot tub...you're already wet! We look forward to visiting our son and enjoying the condo during some of the 320 days of sunshine Cali is famous for...we'll be back to relax!

Best of San Clemente

Our week with friends from Canada was terrific. Everything was exactly as the website description, maybe better. It is beautifully furnished and the kitchen is so well appointed that we chose to BBQ each night. The view of the ocean and pier was better and far more comfortable than most restaurants. Angela provided excellent directions to the unit as well as local shopping suggestions.We would recommend this unit to anyone and hope we have the opportunity to return soon.

Our stay in the condo was great. Wonderful sit-down whitewater views from very comfortable living room and large deck. All necessary amenities provded in clean kitchen with up-to-date appliances. Lots of activities only steps away. We swam in the pool and in the ocean; walked on the beach and the beach trail and enjoyed nearby restaurants. Our hosts were gracious and accommodating. We will return.

I wanted to say thank you for having your home available for renting. It is such a nice place and great location to everything we wanted--beach, pool, Disney and LegoLand. San Clemente is beautiful and relaxing place. We really enjoyed ourselves!

This was our first visit to San Clemente as a family. This particular beach was recommended to us by other family members who formerly lived there. We couldn't have picked a better place! The beach is long and beautiful, very family friendly. The town is cute with lots of shops to explore. Also, easy access to other attractions such as Sea World and Disneyland. The condo itself is beautiful and comfortable. We had no difficulty feeling right at home and settling in. After a long day of traveling, we were thrilled to enter the condo and be greeted by the salty breezes and ocean sounds -- it's literally that close. Our toddler loved the beach toys and we were grateful that there were items for the little one. The walk to the beach is quick, less than 5 minutes. The view is spectacular. The only downside was leaving for home! Thanks again, Angela and Tom, for all the nice touches and hospitality.
