This luxury condo has been completely redone and is the perfect vacation choice for a romantic escape - or for the family trip of a lifetime. We love coming for the relaxation, ocean sounds, and superb snorkeling at four nearby sites (Honolua Bay, Black Rock, Napili Bay, and Kapalua Bay), not to mention the warm people and beautiful views.
Your condominium is attractively furnished, has a new kitchen, a large great room with a sofa/bed, dining for six, and a private lanai featuring new patio furniture. Amenities include central air conditioning and two TVs (a 27" tube in the master bedroom with DVD player, and a 42" flat LCD TV in the living room with a DVD/VCR player), both with lots of great cable TV channels.
The Master bedroom suite also features a floor-to-ceiling wall of windows with a direct oceanfront AND pool view, like the great room. Its bathroom features a walk-in shower with body jets facing the same ocean view!!
Kaanapali Shores is a beachfront hotel resort with dining, shops, activities desk and beautiful grounds spanning two swimming pools, waterfalls, exotic flower gardens and rolling greens. Your accommodations exceed the typical KS suites, most of which have not been completely redone like this one. Your Maui home away from home is bright and expansive (almost 1,100 square feet plus lanai).
It's an opulent, luxurious, oceanfront suite, but with a good measure of practicality (e.g., cook's kitchen, washer/dryer and enough sleeping capacity). Local phone calls are 95 cents; parking is $9 daily; this is a NON-smoking unit.
The Kaanapali Shores (KS) resort is located at the northern end of golden Kaanapali Beach, considered one of the world's best, warmed by the Maui sun and overlooking the islands of Lanai and Molokai. KS is sited between the pink Kaanapali Beach Club pink pyramid and the low-rise Papakea Resort.
Your unit has the coveted, Oceanfront view that also overlooks the main swimming pool and KS's Beach Club Restaurant (yummy food and very reasonable prices by Maui standards). The complex has a beautiful lobby and walking paths for your pleasure.
Across the street is a shopping center including Times Supermarket, the "Best Coffee in Maui" cafe, Pizza Paradiso, Subway, a video/DVD rental store, Soup Nutz's superb fresh soups, and the offices where Diane of Kaanapali Beach Properties will check you in and cater to your needs while on island.
The view from your Lanai includes a spectacular show of humpback whales from December through April. The sites are everchanging - with sailboats, cruise ships, snorkelers, sea turtles, and sunbathers. Across the ocean lies the island of Molokai, where sunrise is glorious to behold from the comfort of bed, or over a fresh cup of Kona coffee on your private lanai.
Maui No Ka Oi means "Maui is the best" - quite fitting for the beautiful vacation you will have in your Kaanapali home away from home.
