There are three golf courses (one nine-hole and two eighteen-hole) within a 20 minute drive of Árd Glas. Coosheen, a beautiful nine-hole links course overlooking Schull Harbour, is the closest and is only four miles away. Ferries to Cape Clear Island and Sherkin Island run from Schull and Baltimore.
