This condo has been renovated with new carpet, cabinets, countertops, and a comfy queen size Simmons Beautyrest mattress. We also added a new queen sleeper sofa. Buffalo Village is located in Wildernest, a quiet and beautifully scenic community located near Buffalo Mountain above Silverthorne in Summit County.
It is conveniently close to the World-class ski areas of Keystone, Copper, Vail, Breckenridge and Arapahoe Basin. The famous Outlet Stores of Silverthorne are just down the hill. The free shuttle bus, the Summit Stage, makes a stop at the complex entrance if you don't feel like driving and dealing with ski area, restaurant and shopping parking lots. This clean, smoke-free, pet-free studio is located on the ground floor, has a fully equipped kitchen (including spices), and a dining area that seats up to six. Laundry facilities are also located on the same floor.
Relax by the fire, watch a video or get out and enjoy Colorado's beautiful outdoors. After a great day on the slopes or a tough day of shopping, enjoy the indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and hot tub that are just steps from your door. Guests also have their choice of two additional conveniently located clubhouses, each with a sauna, hot tub, and indoor pool. Game rooms in the clubhouses include TV, pool tables, ping-pong tables and a racquetball court.
Warmer months offer hiking, mountain biking, fishing, sailing on Lake Dillon, and golfing. Summit County is a hiker and bicyclist's paradise with close to 200 miles of paved bike paths and 400 miles of back-country roads and trails. Loved my stay in this cozy studio with everthing needed for a very comfortable stay. Loved the poximity to the pool and hot tub. If you have plans to relax in the hot tub next to the pool, you can take a sneek peek from the room to ensure the pool is not full of people. I went President's Day week the Sunday before the holiday, people where using the pool facilities. Since I am not a person that likes to hang around a pool with other guests, I able to plan accordingly by viewing the pool area from the condo. At the bottom of the hill, you can find shopping stores and restaurants. No need to drive far for a nice evening out for dinner. The condo is also very close to Copper Mountain for outstanding skiing. Loved the place, would recommend it to others. It also has a very nice working fireplace. The bath facilities near within a few hundrd feet and also very well equiped for people with disabilities and the laundry area is very clean.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway.
