Ski season is upon us, and our townhome in beautiful Winter Park is a great getaway for your next trip to the mountains.
Nestled in the woods, along the free shuttle bus route to the ski resorts, is our 1300 square foot, two-level townhome. We are a short walk to town (5 minutes) and an even shorter walk to trails and Wolf Park, where in the summer there's picnic areas, playground, tennis & basketball courts and plenty of open space.
Renovations were completed in November 2006 and include new carpet and paint throughout, new 1/2 bath upstairs, master bath with new double sinks and guest bath. We also completed a new dining room floor, kitchen floor and lighting as well as an enclosed sunroom and new outdoor patio. High Speed Wireless Internet is also available!
As Kings Crossing is the ideal location being both close to town and along the free shuttle bus route, our townhome is the ideal place to be. It's 1300 square feet, with vaulted ceilings upstairs. You'll find the full kitchen (with a microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, stove, and refrigerator) and dining area, a sun room, 1/2 bath and large family room with a stone fireplace, an "L" shaped couch and an additional pull out sofa sleeper, while the 2 bedrooms and bathrooms are downstairs, along with your very own private hot tub. Our entertainment center hosts a 36-inch cable TV, DVD player, Play Station, and stereo.
The master has an inviting King size bed, a couch for relaxing, an attached private bath, and access to the hot tub. The second bedroom boasts a twin over full log bunkbed. Downstairs also has a mud room with additional access to the hot tub room and a washer/dryer unit.
Winter Park & Mary Jane are a skier and riders paradise. The free shuttle picks up right outside our driveway and departs every :15 in the winter. It takes you right to the base. If skiing or riding isn’t your thing, snowmobiling tours, snowshoe hikes, scenic chairlift rides, a tubing hill, ice skating, sleigh rides, dog sled rides and a hot springs are right in our backyard! We can arrange any and all of your activities throughout your stay.
The summer is also an incredible time to visit Winter Park. Winter Park is the mountain bike capital with over 600 miles of trails. You can hook your bike right up to the chairlift for a scenic ride up and take numerous trails down, or you can carve your own path! Other than biking in the summer, you can choose from plenty of hiking trails, horseback riding, river rafting, a rodeo series, and world class fishing and summer music festivals. Rocky Mountain National Park is only 45 minutes away and Grand Lake is within 30 minutes of Winter Park.
