A charming, fortified, hilltop manor dating from the XIII century, in the beautiful Dordogne region the southwest France, set in the middle of a 40 acre estate with river frontages and a recently renovated guest house.

Originally the farmhouse wing of the chateau, the guesthouse can accommodate eight to ten adults and two babies (cots). It is ideal for a big family group or for several couples wishing to holiday together - without getting under one another's feet. Although the chateau is away from the bustle of the local market town, it is only a few minutes by car from excellent shops, cafes, and restaurants.

The guest house is available for short- or long-term lets. It has recently been renovated and furnished comfortably with a modern fully-equipped kitchen. There are plenty of good inexpensive restaurants within easy reach and supermarkets and shops in Eymet, four kilometers away. Bergerac is the nearest large town with beautiful old quarters, a fabulous antiques market each month, and a wide range of specialist shops and entertainment.

The house caters for a wide variety of interests from those who love reading in hidden corners of the garden, to those who love tennis, or sunbathing by the pool, under the pagoda having a cool drink...
