Mountain Zen is a brand-new and wonderfully decorated three-story home with a bedroom and bath on each floor. Mountain Zen is located in Big Canoe, an 8000-acre mountain resort community with three lakes, 15 miles of hiking trails, a Joe Lee designed 27-hole golf course, indoor and outdoor tennis, a complete state-of-the-art fitness center with Olympic-sized indoor pool, racquetball, workout facilities, and a complete day spa. Next to the fitness center is the Big Canoe Swim Club with an outdoor pool and a lake with beach for swimming, paddle boating, and volleyball. The kids love the rock slide that drops into the lake!
The house has a beautiful, two-story, great room with stacked-stoned fireplace and open kitchen as well as a bedroom with queen-size bed and a full bath on the main floor. Upstairs, the master bedroom boasts a trey ceiling and a deluxe matress king-size bed as well as a wall-mounted LCD HDTV with DVD player and satellite. Also upstairs is a serene loft with two walls of windows and beautiful views of the mountainside. It is the perfect place to relax with a good book. This room also has a unique sectional sofa that transforms into a really comfortable bed.
Downstairs is a large media room with 53-inch big screen TV, satellite and comfortable seating for movie time. There is also a large table for playing games. The bookshelves are filled with many DVD movies and board games to enjoy or simply keep the kids occupied.
Mountain Zen comes complete with two huge decks for relaxing. Off the main floor, the deck provides a large dining table with umbrella, great lounging furniture, and a deluxe gas grill. Off the lower level is another huge deck with a great hot tub for relaxing after a vigorous day of golf, hiking, or tennis. The hot tub seats 5.
