Check it out..........We have our very own sledding hill for you to enjoy. It is fast, furious and fun, ending in a chaotic cloud of snow. It seems hardly anyone uses it but our guests............You will have a blast.....Bring your chairs and coolers, relax and enjoy it amongst yourselves...only a few hundred feet away from the front door in the forest........
We would love to have your comments after your visit to our big cozy cabin.........it is actually a big mountain getaway home. The memorabilia that decorates this home goes back to the 30's, 40's and the 50's.
Woodsy siding outside in the trees, you will feel like your in one big tree house, and very quiet as there is only two full time residents next to the cabin and the forest is two doors away. Cathedral open beam ceilings with herring bone tongue and groove inside that rise over 18 feet. Two wrap around decks with gas grill near dining area surround half the cabin with an additional deck off the master bedroom. Sitting on the decks is very relaxing and makes the cabin extremely spacious.

Recognized as one of the nicest lodge in Green Valley Lake on the forest.... We all work hard to be the best at making your vacation memorable and enjoyable...take a look at the furnishings..the total ambiance. We work hard to maintain a beautiful envirnonment for you and your loved ones... We are spacious....we can comfortably accommodate 8 to 10 adults or 6 adults and up to 6 children.

A cute mud room greets your muddy shoes at entrance of cabin. Washer and dryer room with wash tub. Kitchen with all the amenities. Forced air heating warms cabin very quickly. A warm cozy fire with a the turn of the key. Pure mountain spring water from the tap.
Located only 90 minutes away from Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego Counties, in the San Bernardino Mountains, Green Valley Lake attracts visitors seeking clean air, blue skies, crystal-clear water, and the serenity and calm beauty of a quiet forested community. Our two closest neighbors are Arrowbear and Running Springs. There are hiking trails galore and plenty of opportunities for bird watching, mountain biking, horseback riding, and in the winter, cross-country skiing. The nine-acre lake is regularly stocked for fishing, plus there are boating and swimming as well. For the sports enthusiast, Green Valley Lake offers a beach volleyball court next to the lake, plus a basketball court and a tennis court that also can be used for volleyball or badminton. Barbecue facilities are located under the trees in the adjoining picnic area. A magnificent public campground is just down the road with 40 spaces and clean restrooms. Green Valley Lake has a small downtown area that hosts a market, two restaurants, a hardware store, a gift shop and video rental, a post office, and a number of real estate offices. There is also a community church located at 648 Yukon. Further up Green Valley Lake Road you will find the Fire Dept. and a local museum. Green Valley Lake also happens to be a Mecca for artists and musicians. Three times a year (Memorial weekend, Labor Day weekend, and Thanksgiving weekend) there is an Artisan Tour in which the local artisans open up their homes or studios and display their many beautiful pieces of handmade artwork. On the 2nd Saturday of each month the local musicians get together at the Lake

THIS IS TRULY OUR GRAMMIE'S BIG RED TREE HOUSE/ESTATE in the Woods, a retreat from the hectic everyday routine, a place to share priceless moments with friends & family. Gather everyone around the fire, sipping on cinnamon tea or a glass of wine with many loved ones gazing at the flickering fire. A nice cold brew would also do nicely.
This beautiful cabin is steps away from the national forest trailhead. Imagine waking up, making a nice cup of coffee or tea which we provide and walk out the door and by your third sip you are in the forest, smelling the pine trees, enjoying the quietness and feeling like you are in another world.
Included in your stay for an additional $20.00 per person will be barbecue ribs, a tomato salad medley of wood fired roasted corn and artichokes with fresh garden tomato and cilantro. The barbecue beans are slowed cooked with bacon, sausage, pineapple and rich sweet spicy sauce. All you have to do is warm up the ribs either on the grill or in the oven. The ribs are slowed roasted over a wood fire oven for over 7 hours and hydrated at the same time over a lemon bath. They are carmelized with a spicy sauce that you will want to have again sometime. This entire meal will be ready for you upon your arrival. You can have this meal whenever you chose. It will be in the fridge ready to go. This menu will change on a weekly basis. Pictures of wildlife abound as well as two mounted deer and a big black bear create the perfect atmosphere for a cabin getaway. You walk in and you know you are going to have a great time.
