Location: Pisak is an extremely idyllic small holiday resort on the Riviera Omis 15km from Omis and 18 km from Makarska. Pisak is ideally suited for a quiet, relaxing holiday in a typical Mediterranean fishing village. The water is crystal clear. You can go swimming, snorkelling, diving etc. here as and when you like. Pisak has a variety of mostly small and idyllic beaches bordered by dense maquis and pine woods. You can find natural bays with crystal clear sea, fine pebble beaches, rocky beaches, and some sandy sections as well.
Many beaches are accessible only through hiking trails or by boat and therefore sometimes even offer the possibility to have a small part of the beach all to your self. You can rent a boat on the small harbour in Pisak and take a trip with it to the bay of Vruja nearby.
There is a small supermarket in the village, a small fruit and vegetable stand, 1 Cafe and two small restaurants with typical Dalmatian cuisine.
Arrival: You will reach Pisak from northwest (Munich-Zagreb-Zadar-Split) when you come on the Dalmatian highway A1 in the direction of Dubrovnik. You will leave the highway about 40 km after the junction Split at the Sestanovac exit.
From here it is exactly 17 km further up to Pisak. Follow the signs and the road towards Makarska and Omis. Drive through the villages Zadvarje and Gornja Brela before the road on the land meets the coastal road (spectacular view of the sea and offshore islands). At the junction, take left to Makarska/Dubrovnik, right and then straight towards Omis/Split.
You now have to drive about 3.5 km towards Omis and after the bus stop (on the right hand side) leave the coastal road turning left and it is the only one street leading in to the place.
Our house Mediterranea (House number. 60) is the second visible house on the right hand side with two white garages.

Apartment V: lies on the 3rd floor of our house, it is our smallest apartment with about 35 sq.m area, furnished elegantly and in a modern style. This apartment was recently finished only in 2009. It has: - Living/ dining room with fully fitted kitchen units (without oven, but with multifunctional microwave), air-conditioning and a cosy sleeping couch (120x200) - a bedroom with double bed (160x200) - a bathroom - the terrace in apartment V is about 21 aq.m large, fully furnished and frontally as well as laterally oriented and has a sea side view. - Maximum occupancy of 3 persons.

Wir möchten uns auf diese Art und Weise bei unseren Vermietern für den tollen Urlaub bedanken. Wir wurden hervorragend von Klaudija und Maja betreut. Die Ferienwohnung ist neu, modern und hochwertig eingerichtet. Wir fühlten uns wie zu Hause. Pisak ist ein kleines, ruhiges Örtchen mit wunderschönem Strand und super Wasserqualität (genau das, was wir gesucht haben). Alles Fein. Tolle Aussicht, saubere, gut eingerichtete Zimmer mit WLAN, Klima, Fernseher mit deutschem Programm. Appartements mit Terrasse Richtung Meer mit tollem Blick und ausreichend groß. offener Grill und täglich gereinigter Pool. Muss nur wissen, dass es bis zum Meer (wo im Dorf ein nettes Restaurant direkt am Wasser am kleinen Hafen und ein schöner überschaubarer Strand ist) doch viele Treppenstufen sind.Owner response: Danke fuer die nette Bewertung. Für uns war die Lage - umgeben von Bergen - mit wunderschönem Blick auf das Meer wirklich traumhaft. Der einzige Nachteil sind die unzähligen Stufen auf dem Weg zum Strand - andererseits ist gleichzeitig für die Fitness gesorgt. Der Ort ist sehr nett, ruhig und hat gute Lokale. Die Strände im Ort und der nahen Umgebung haben für jeden Geschmack und Anspruch etwas zu bieten. Mir hat am besten der Mix aus Natur, Unternehmungsmöglichkeiten, Kultur, Kulinarik und Sport gefallen. Das Appartement ist sehr gepflegt und läßt keine Wünsche offen. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit Traumaussicht vermisse ich gerade jetzt in der kalten Jahreszeit. Alles in allem ein wirklich schöner Urlaub.Owner response: Freut uns, dass es Ihnen bei uns gefallen hat. Pisak ist wirklich noch ein Stueck unberuehrter Natur.
