WaterColors is the ULTIMATE beach house - a beautiful 3600 square foot home directly on the ocean! It is built on two levels, with the main living area upstairs. Here you will find a huge living room, dining area, eat-in kitchen, and two master suites, both with king beds, ocean views and access to the deck. Walls of glass provide fantastic ocean views, and the wrap-around deck offers outdoor seating and eating spaces, both covered and uncovered.
The kitchen is completely open to the living area. It has a breakfast area, fantastic ocean views through a large picture window and two walls of glass. Outfitted with lots of storage, granite counters and a huge granite island, side-by-side refrigerator with water and ice on the door, gas cook top, microwave, TV, and access to the deck just outside, the kitchen is sure to please the most discriminating cook.
The upper level is decorated in a sophisticated, serene, and relaxed mode, in shades of blue, taupe, and white, with splashes of stem green. Dark teak and beachy furnishings insure that the ocean tones pop! A wet bar, tall game table, and ultra-suede and leather furnishings guarantee that our guests will be ultra-comfortable! A 55' flat screen wall mounted LED TV is visible from almost every spot in the living - dining - kitchen areas!
The master suite is a destination in itself. Located just off the main living area, the bedroom features a beautiful king sized poster bed, entertainment armoire, comfy reading chair, access to a covered portion of the deck and great ocean views. A lovely and spacious desk provides a comfortable space to do any necessarry work, utilizing the fast wireless Internet connection. The master bath features a large soaking tub, separate shower, long vanity with double sinks, and tons of storage!
On the other side of the main level is the 'junior master'. This lovely and serene room features a king size silver toned metal bed, large entertainment armoire, charming window seat, sliding door access to the deck and ocean beyond, and ample storage. An adjacent bath serves this bedroom, as well as doing duty as a powder room and, thanks to a door opening to the deck, acting as a 'beach bath'.
The main level ocean side deck is huge! It runs the length of the house and around both sides, offering deck access to both master suites. A portion of the deck has just been expanded to 30 feet by 16 feet, making it perfect for entertaining. We have lounge chairs, dining table for 8 (with umbrella), bar table for 4 and several comfortable patio chairs.... perfect!
Downstairs, the house is outfitted for fun and games. Three bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa insure that adults and kids alike will have ample sleeping space. One bedroom has a queen bed, one has two twins, the bunk room has three bunks, and the game room contains a queen sleeper.
The game room with 50' flat screen TV and lots of games offer hours of rainy day and night time activities for everyone. The Play Station II in the bunkroom will insure that the smallest ones are kept entertained as well! Just off the game room is a covered porch, which provides additional shaded seating and easy access to the deck and dune walkover above. Two full baths, large laundry area, and garage round out this level. The entire downstairs is decorated in happy and lighthearted shades of blue, aqua, cream and white. Off the covered porch is a fenced area, perfect for your dog to enjoy the outside all by himself!
A two person elevator is available for guests needing assistance or for the convenience of taking groceries and suitcases to the upper level. Televisions are provided for all bedrooms plus the living room, game room, and kitchen. Several DVD players and a blue ray player insure that you can watch the latest movie. Bring your favorite CDs: we have stereos in the living room and the game room. We also have a very nice book and movie library, including children's favorite videos.
You only need to bring your bathing suit to be ready for the beach! We supply beach chairs, loungers, beach umbrellas, a cooler, beach toys, and beach towels. On the deck you will find an outdoor shower to help keep the salt and sand outside! On the dune walkover are two cozy built in seats, perfect for early morning coffee or late night moon watching. You may never want to leave!

We had a family reunion here over New Years. What a fantastic place to start the year! The house provided a great setting and helped with our needs for family members ranging from age 1 to age 90. Plenty of space and easy walks on the beach, fishing, sandcastles, family dinners. We have 2 family members with mobility restrictions, the elevator made for easy participation for all. We had an issue with the toaster and Judy was there the next day with a new one. I hear some renovations are going on now to upgrade the accesibility even more which will be appreciated by many people who could enjoy this beautful setting. The communication was true and timely. Great place.Owner response: We are happy that these nice people enjoyed WaterColors and are glad that the house works for people of all ages and circumstances. The elevator is wonderful for people with mobility issues, as well as for transporting luggage and groceries to the main (upper) level. We are currently in the process of adding other amenities, which will enhance the rental experience. We are adding a 4th bath which will have a roll-in shower; this will help persons in wheelchairs or walkers. We are fencing part of the yard for the convenience of renters with dogs, and we are transforming the game room to be more suited to the needs of children and teens. Photos will be posted soon.

The home is light and the ocean visible from every room on the main level. The kitchen a gourmet's dream fully stocked with high end appliances. , The ownership/management team attended to any needs immediately and fully. The house was even more spectacular than the picture montage displayed in the online promo's. THis home is a 'dream' for a couple or a family with children and "drop-in" guests.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, sightseeing.

This was a great property for our vacation! The owner thought of everything right down to the dish detergent. The house was immaculately clean and so very comfortable. Not to mention the location right on the beach was fabulous! We will be returning to this house many times in the future. We could not have asked for a better place or an easier rental experience.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had our family for Christmas at WaterColors and had a wonderful time. The house is set up very well for a crowd and the living area is especially wonderful. Great kitchen too! Everyone enjoyed the pool table, the beach, the beautiful decks. We had plenty of room for 8 people plus a Christmas tree in the living area. Grandchildren really liked the bunk bed area downstairs, quiet, dark and away from the early risers. Highly recommend this property.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children, sightseeing.

Water Colors...a perfect name for a perfect house on the beach in Punte Vedra. Not only were the views of the ocean perfect, but the decor throughout the house was just right...comfortable...clean and relaxing. Not overly beachy in theme. The master bed was great...right off the main living area. All the bedrooms were nice with a flat screen TV in most of them. The dual washers and dual dryers were great to have. The pool table was in really good shape although there were no working "Q" sticks but we had family members brings some that they had. The decking was really nice with lots of space and comfortable chairs and lounges.The kitchen with it's over sized counter for serving was perfect for our needs. The only thing that we could have used was bigger refrigerator in the kitchen or a second freezer or refrigerator in the garage area...that would have been helpful. Will definately consider returning to Water Colors again...absolulely perfect for us and our dog Coco loved it too.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, romantic getaway, pet owners, sightseeing.

Watercolors is one of the most wonderful properties we have ever had the privilege to stay. The house is perched on the bluffs overlooking this beautiful private beach. Each window held the most gorgeous views of the ocean and sky opening to an expansive deck. The house is decorated in a variety of ocean shades setting the atmosphere: elegant yet truly comfortable. The open concept really allowed us to be together yet pursue different activities. We were two families with twenty somethings and having two levels was great for some separation. The pool table was a great hit. It was wonderful having the variety of beach equipment from umbrellas and beach towels to sand toys. The kitchen was well stocked great for cooking meals for many. My sister in law is still talking about the giant washer and dryer!! For me it was all about the beach just thinking about that view makes me smile. It was heaven can't wait to go back.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

Watercolors exceeded our expectations. It was all and more than described on listing. It was roomy, comfortable, clean and had everything we could want and then some. The layout of the house is perfect for "getting away" from other people for a while when the time comes. Judy's information is very helpful on the area. Caps restaurant is such a unique place with the gnarly trees in the sunset. We also enjoyed The Conch House in St. Augustine. St. Augustine is so close and so much to see there. We were delighted to find out Freedom Boat Club had just opened just over the bridge as we are members. A GREAT day of boating. The beach at Watercolors has so many shells and starfish. We are used to beautiful panhandle of Florida beaches but no shells for kids to find. Watercolors will DEFINITELY be our pick when we return to Ponte Vedra. No one can go wrong staying there whatever the group.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We are a large family with very young children that stay one week every year at the beach. This is the best house and experiance we have had in 5 years. Our first house was okay but we outgrew it. Then it was problems with owners letting properties run down and get very dirty. This was absolutly not the case here! Property is super well maintained and obviously updated on a regular basis....and it was CLEAN inside! Two large Tron washer and dryers and a fully updated kitchen made this a great home away from home. We hope not to outgrow this house but if we do we will try to stick with a Wren property in the future. Great communication with owner, local property manager, beautifully maintained home, great location, what more could we ask for. Thank you so much for a lovely week.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: Hi there! I am Judy Lombana Wren, owner (with my husband Bill) of WaterColors, manager of several other oceanfront properties, retired university professor and mental health therapist, wife, mom, grandmother, and friend! Bill (a retired airline pilot) and I live in Jacksonville, Florida and Maggie Valley, NC. I have been involved with with the ocean, beaches, homes, decorating, and people all my life. WaterColors is our beautiful and spacious oceanfront home where we have large family gatherings and enjoy sharing with others. We hope you will love it too! We bought WaterColors in 1995. At the time, it was a large, somewhat bland home which had some wonderful attributes: an elevator, fantastic ocean views, spacious living area on the main level, plus a game room complete with pool table on the lower floor. Bill and I have signficantly remodeled and updated the house. We ripped out the kitchen and opened it to the living area; you will love the beautiful cabinets and huge granite island. We have expanded the deck, updated two of the three bathrooms, and painted the house inside and out in happy beach colors. We just installed a huge flat screen TV in the living room (look for an article about us in a Best Buy catalog this summer!) For a number of years now, I have been managing other oceanfront homes, as well as my own. My son, David Lombana, has joined me in Wren Beach Rentals, and we now manage 14+ luxury oceanfront properties in South Ponte Vedra and Vilano Beach. We have a huge number of repeat renters and enjoy solid relationships with both owners and renters. We look forward to working with you!

We bought WaterColors in South Ponte Vedra Beach, because we knew it was a great investment. Our sucess with renting our first home, Sandpiper's Nest, convinced us that larger groups are also looking for top quality getaways on a very private beach. WaterColors is perfect for vacationers who want direct oceanfront, great views, spacious living quarters, qualaity furnishings, lots of amenities, and privacy. WaterColors is perched on a high dune, on a 100 wide lot, offering panoramic ocean views. The immediate area consists of single family homes, several great restaurants, a terrific beach club (available as an option to our renters who want a pool!)and miles of wide, sandy, car-free beaches. Our renters come here because they love the privacy and the fact that we are not surrounded by high rise condos, fast food restaurants, bars, hordes of people vying for space on the beach, or cars driving on the sand! However, we are not isolated! WaterColors is just 10 minutes from historic St. Augustine and 15 minutes from posh Ponte Vedra. We think we have the perfect beach location!
