  My husband &I visited this stunning holiday home as part of our honeymoon. We spent the first week of our honeymoon in a hotel in Amalfi, Italy & the second week here in Taormina in this beautiful elevated, private, stone built villa. It was the perfect way to end our very special holiday. This house is perfect as it offers (VERY) easy access to the thriving Taormina centre (3 minutes walk away), yet is set up off the main road, meaning that you have complete privacy (no houses overlook you) & feel almost as if you are set out in the mountains, which is just the balance that we wanted. It has easy access to the beach (a pleasant walk away & cable car back up the hill into town), enchanting views of the majestic Etna from house and garden, beautiful views out to the epic coastline & sea. Many a breakfast was enjoyed in the garden facing out to the twinkling blue expanse and many an evening was passed sharing a glass of local wine and fresh produce from the little markets, sat watching the reflection of the lights along the coastline dancing on the dark waves. So romantic. The inside of the house has a feeling of being in a farm house and is very well done out with all that is required to make this place your home during your stay. The garden is beautiful & well kept with a BBQ, which we took full advantage of. The flora & fruits surrounding you in the garden make this place a little eden & it was often tempting to just pass the days away in the garden, rather than exploring the exciting town and surrounding beauties. Some things we recommend are walks to the beach & Isola Bella, anything Etna related, the Public Gardens, the Greek Theatre (which has spectacular views of smoking Etna from the ruins of this amazing apitheatre), check out the local cuisine as there are some real gems of restaurants or you can buy fresh pastries in a morning from local shops, fresh pasta, fresh fruit and veg & cheeses. We bought some porcini mushrooms that grow on the side of Mnt Etna & they were the best we've ever tasted! The icecream is a must try here too! The nightlife here is good too, with some great bars & some which stay open until sunrise! We also found a great Jazz bar where we enjoyed live music whilst looking out over the rolling waves. Gaby and Viktor are friendly & helpful and simply were perfect hosts & provided us with all the information we needed for our holiday. We would certainly return & would recommend to all wanting a special holiday

  My partner and I stayed in the house for one week but how we wiished we had longer. It was very hot when we were in Taormina and the garden offers wonderful natural shade and we were content to spend a lot of the day at the house relaxing in the garden and enjoying the views. Just a few minutes walk and we were in the main streets of Taormina which had a fantastic array of bars,cafes and restaurants to cater for every taste. Taormina seems to appeal to all, couples and families of all ages and the people watching is second to none! The house is very well equipped,clean and comfortable. Visiting Mount Etna is a must and going to the summit is an amazing experience. I would higly recommend Taormina and the property, but a word of warning, the house is up many steps and not suitable for the very elderly or infirm, however we loved the fact that while at the house we felt miles from anywhere yet within a few minutes we were in the busy and fun streets of Taormina. Would we go again....................definately!! Great holiday.

  Das zentral und ruhig gelegene Haus ist sehr zu empfehlen für Familienurlaub. Es ist geräumig, gepflegt und mit allem ausgestattet. Der Garten ist von altem Bewuchs geprägt, uneinsehbar und zu beiden Seiten mit herrlichen Aussicht auf den Ätna und das Meer.

  Eine ruhige Oase mitten im quirligen Taormina. Garten mit tollem Blick auf Meer und Ätna, der Morgens zum ausgiebigen Frühstück und langen Lesestunden einläd. Das Haus ist bestens ausgestattet; die Küche erfreut jeden Hobbykoch. Die sehr persönliche Note (u.a. kleine Bibliothek) lässt einen sich gleich "zu Hause" fühlen. Ein Feriendomizil zum Entspannen! Die Vermieter sind unkompliziert und sehr hilfsbereit und geben einem viele Tips für Ausflüge, etc. Ein wunderbares Urlaubsziel, das aufgrund der Hanglage nicht mit dem Auto sondern nur über einige Treppen zu erreichen ist. Wer mobil ist, sollte sich davon aber nicht abschrecken lassen. Er / Sie wird mit einem Ort zum Wohlfühlen belohnt. Alle Geschäfte für den täglichen Bedarf sind fussläufig erreichbar.

  Mitte November haben wir eine Woche bei traumhaftem Wetter (Sonne, ca. 20°C) den tollen Blick auf Ätna und das Meer genossen. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Der große, gepflegte Garten mit Terrasse ist wunderschön. Die Vermieter haben uns sehr gut auf den Aufenthalt vorbereitet, mit vielen guten Tipps und Ratschlägen. Auch den empfohlenen Taxiservice vom Flughafen haben wir genutzt, was hervorragend funktioniert hat. Wenn man auch die weitere Umgebung erkunden will, gibt's natürlich Busverbindungen, aber man kann auch vor Ort gut ein Auto mieten. Tagesausflüge zum Ätna, in die nahegelegenen Bergdörfer, Syrakus, usw. sind so gut möglich und sehr zu empfehlen. Die Lage des Hauses selber ist zentral, und dennoch sehr ruhig. Das Zentrum mit Geschäften, Restaurants und Bars ist sehr schnell und gut zu Fuß zu erreichen, man muss halt viel treppauf und -ab gehen. Wir würden das Feriendomizil jederzeit weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für so eine schöne Woche zu so einer Jahreszeit.

  Ein bezauberndes Ferienhaus in geradezu perfekter Lage von Taormina. Sehr zentral und doch absolut ruhig. Mit Blick auf das Meer und auf den Ätna. Sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und liebevoll eingerichtet. Ein wunderschöner Garten mit Terrasse, für Kinder ideal. Wir (Familie mit 2 Kindern 5 u. 7 J.) haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und gut erholt. Sehr gute Betreuung durch den Vermieter. Wir können dieses Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

  Taormina von seiner schönsten Seite. Traumhaftes Feriendomizil am höchsten Punkt von Taormina. Etwas versteckt und doch mittendrin (5min. bis zum Corso und zur Seilbahn an den Strand). Sagenhafter Ausblick zum Ätna und aufs Meer. Wunderschöner Garten mit großzügiger Rasenfläche (Rarität in Taormina). Liebevoll eingerichtete Räume, sehr sauber, alles funktioniert. Sehr aufmerksame Vermieter. Herzlichen Dank an Familie R. Hier kann man perfekt entspannen, wir haben uns hervorragend erholt. Romantiker kommen hier voll auf ihre Kosten. Dietro la Nocce kann man nur weiterempfehlen. Fantastico!
