The Anchorage is probably the finest creek-side rental home in Cornwall. This fabulous, luxurious, waterfront cottage has a 200ft frontage to the Port Navas Creek on the beautiful Helford River tidal estuary, its own Private Shingle Beach, Quay and Slipway and lies within a nationally renowned Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is exquisitely situated down an exclusive, quiet, private lane and is set in its own 2 acres of magical, sub-tropical gardens and woodland. It has a large west facing patio with glorious views of the creek and the hills beyond, beautifully positioned to catch the warm afternoon sunshine and the romantic sunsets. The home can sleep up to 20 persons and features 7/8 bedrooms (including 2 master suites with super king-size four poster beds), 4 bathrooms, a large lounge, a sunroom, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, a utility room and a separate toilet. There is an open, log burning fireplace in the lounge, full oil-fired central heating to radiators, TVs in the lounge and 7 of the bedrooms and Broadband internet access. For summer, alfresco dining there is a large outdoor table with 8 chairs and 2 sun-loungers. Adjacent to the cottage, approached down our long, sweeping driveway, is a double garage with a powered, up and over door and extensive parking.

A fabulous, Private Heated Exercise Pool and Spa with swim jets is invitingly positioned in a sheltered and secluded spot on the patio overlooking the creek. There is also an opulent 14 jet, Jacuzzi style, circular Whirlpool Bath in the premier en-suite-bathroom. In addition, all the facilities of the adjacent Budock Vean Hotel are available (chargeable) including their indoor heated Swimming Pool, 18-hole Golf Course, Tennis Courts and superb restaurants and bars.

During the summer high season Complimentary use of a 16ft Laser Sailing Dinghy or a 14ft Orkney Motor Boat is provided for the duration of your stay. These can be easily rented in the low seasons or you can, of course, bring your own boat or Jet Ski and moor it to our quay. Explore the wonderful, Helford River tidal estuary or cruise for lunch or dinner at one of the chic, creek-side restaurants and pubs or simply just ‘mess about on the river’.

We have put a lot of thought and work into making our vacation home as sumptuous and as comfortable as possible and we do hope that you will decide to stay.
