The apartment has an excellent location, within walking distance of major attractions. It's convenient to the Metro, which makes getting around very easy. Shopping for groceries and baked goods is also very easy with two groceries, butcheries and two bakeries within a block. There is a taxi stand half a block away which makes the trip back to the airport very convenient. On Saturdays there is a typical French market within half a block where you can buy fresh produce, fish and meats. The apartment was very clean and well furnished. The neighborhood felt safe. We highly recommend this apartment.

This cosy, compact apartment suited our family of three (including a 16yr old) extremely well for a 4 night stay. We found the apartment to be as expected from the photographs: it was comfortable and modern, yet still retaining a quirkiness and charm. The property was perfectly clean and furnished to a high standard, although, from an entirely personal point of view, I prefer the look and size of blue rug in the photo to the more modern one in the room now. The apartment itself, and the immediate area, were distinctly French and we enjoyed our stay much more than when we've been in anonymous hotels. The location is central and an excellent base from which to explore. We walked from the apartment in all directions, taking pleasure in every twist and turn. Notre Dame is a few minutes walk away and we listened to the bells on Christmas morning. A friend recommended Rue de Mouffetard and we would certainly endorse his praise of the area. The friendly, helpful couple of chaps we dealt with made our booking and arrival very easy and straightforward. Not only would we recommend this apartment to family and friends but we are already planning when we can return.

This is a great apartment, it's in an excellent area, 2 minutes from Notre Dame and also very close to a number of excellent food shops and small supermarkets for daily shopping. The apartment was as shown in the photographs, compact but much more room than you'd have in a hotel for a comparable price. In a quiet street which felt very safe. There's a smart restaurant at the bottom of the street which we missed out on this visit but hope to visit next time. The flat was also spotlessly clean, stylish looking and the bed was very comfortable. Equally important (possibly more important), the owner Paul dealt with all the initial queries very promptly and in a friendly manner by e-mail and he also gave us a signed Agreement with full details of his contact in Paris when we arrived plus details of his own phone number. We phoned his Paris contact (Natasha) from Gare du Nord when we arrived and although we were at the flat earlier than we said we would be she was there to meet us within about 5 minutes. Natasha was incredibly friendly and helpful and spoke perfect English which all helped to make for a very relaxed and stress free introduction to the flat (we've had a few bad experiences in the past when renting flats in France so this was really important to us). The owner also refunded our damage deposit very promptly within a couple of days of getting back to England. Where there any downsides? Only a couple of minor ones and they wouldn't be an issue for most visitors but for the record: The white bar stools are very stylish looking but not overly comfortable for meals in, other than breakfast or quick snacks. There are so many good food shops in the area a small fold up table would be a welcome addition. The TV had news channels in English but not a great deal else-not an issue if you're out and about in the evening but we know Paris quite well and as it was such a comfortable flat we spent quite a few evenings in and a few more English channels would have been good. Finally, the en-suite bathroom door is constructed of glass panels-not a huge privacy issue for couples but worth being aware of! These are minor points though-this is a great apartment and we'd strongly recommend it and hope to visit again very soon.

Compared to staying in a hotel of comparable quality of accommodation, this apartment wins easily. From looking at reviews, it seems that many visitors are from the USA and Australia who may be expecting spacious apartments in Paris. Hotels in Paris offer small rooms. We have visited Paris many many times and even in better hotels, space is limited. So we were very pleased to find an apartment in such a good location with such facilities and space. We have rented apartments in France in the past and have been let down by convoluted arrangements for key collections / greetings. We've also had problems with rentals not working out before we even arrive. So we were very pleased that this rental was managed professionally, with all agreements up-front, with clear arrival instructions, and someone to greet us on arrival. The apartment is perfect for a couple. There is a sofabed, so it might be ok for two friends or a couple with a small child, but be warned - the bathroom is off the bedroom and there are glass doors between the two ( glass obscured but not THAT obscured). The bed is very comfortable. Lovely. Needed after a day of walking lots. The kitchen is tiny but has a dishwasher, fridge, washing machine , hob and microwave. So if you plan to create wonderful meals, this ain't for you. However, if you want to buy in food it is fine. There is great food available locally. It is very useful to have a washing machine. No need to pack so much. Much appreciated. It would have been nice to have a table to eat at. With so many options for buying food locally, we would have liked to chill out over meals. It was not quite the same perching on bar stools ( just a little tiny table - we've e-mailed with this suggestion). We have been over to Paris many times and are already planning our next trip in a month or so, and plan to stay here. If anyone is in doubt still, what really might swing this is the assurance that you are met by Natasha (wrong spelling I know and apologise). A brilliant greeter, and contactable during your stay too. In summary -professionally managed, brilliant location, great facilities -just wish there was a small table and chairs. However, we will be back in a month or so. Probably regular visitors now. Chris and Ian Grace - Sussex UK

Had a great time. We were met by Natasha who was very nice. The apartment was ideal for two people, clean and well appointed. The area was central so that we could walk to the places we were interested in such as the botanical gardens and the Rodin museum.Try out the Mediteranee restaurant at the Odeon, not cheap but good. We are just working out when we can return. Sue and Ian Collins.

We had a great time at this apartment. Amazing location and well equipped. Next door to some of the best spaces in Paris. We were well received and the apartment was well explained. Apartment was clean and well maintained. There is also a nice guest book with relevant information on the apartment as well as the near by areas. The apartment was excatly like described, so no surprises. Our deposit was refunded promptly which was great, specially for a first time user like me. All in all, a great experience.

My husband and I stayed at Paul's Paris apartment to celebrate my birthday. We are the types who are always on the go, walking around and exploring various cities. This location is absolutely perfect. Natasha met us at the apartment and gave us a quick tour along with some insight on the neighborhood and various markets. We were lucky enough to experience the farmer's market just down the street on Tuesday and Thursday, and enjoyed some of the biggest strawberries we had ever seen! The metro strop is literally right down the block, Notre Dame is about 3 minutes away, the love bridge is about 3 minutes away and everything else you can also walk to. We probably walked about 25 miles in our four days in Paris! Since the apartment was so centrally located we didn't have to carry a heavy bag around the city and could stop in to drop things off as needed. The apartment offers free wi-fi, free long-distance, and lots of storage space. The walking maps in the box were a great bonus. The only thing I couldn't get to work was my hair straightener. I took a converter, but the plus there were all round, and mine wouldn't fit. I made up for it by only wearing ponytails (since it rained a few times while we were there, I didn't mind). That was really the only hiccup. Paul was great about answering questions promptly and we received our deposit refund quickly. We would definitely stay here again and can't wait to return!

Wonderfully located apartment exactly as pictured and described. Very clean and with all necessary amenities. Appreciated the binder providing lots of helpful information, as well as the free wi-fi and phone calls to Canada. From here we walked to Notre Dame, took the metro to the Eiffel Tower and the train to Versailles. Lots of restaurants, boulangeries and markets within walking distance. We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Boutteille d'Or on quai Montebello to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Will definitely recommend to family and friends!

Paul and Natasza are excellent hosts, providing this cute, comfortable, clean little apartment on a quiet, narrow street in the Latin Quarter, within easy walking distance of Notre Dame, the Louvre, Musee d' Orsay, l' Orangerie, Tuileries, Luxembourg Gardens, and Pompidou. We walked to all of these sites and more, using our Paris Museum Pass (purchase at FNAC to avoid the lines at all the museums). The apartment has a modern, spotless bathroom with shower and the tiny kitchen is equipped with stove, dishwasher, refrig, and clothes washer. A brochure explains how all appliances, phone, and TV are operated, simple check-out procedure, restaurant listings, etc. We appreciated free WI-fi and phone service to the US. There are patisseries, boulangeries, charcuteries, fromageries, restaurants, and farmer's market a few steps from the apartment. We enjoyed a lovely evening concert at Sainte Chapelle and stopping for coffee at some of the numerous outdoor cafes. Our hosts provided a bookshelf loaded with maps, Paris walks, guidebooks, etc. A metro station is located nearby. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others without hesitation.

We had a wonderful time at Paul's apartment in Paris. The location couldn't be beat, right around to corner from Notre Dame, a metro station/taxi stand, and little market selling cheese, wine, bread and all the French essentials. Natasha was a terrific greeter providing tons of great info and a friendly face on arrival. Would highly recommend!
