Paul and Natasza are excellent hosts, providing this cute, comfortable, clean little apartment on a quiet, narrow street in the Latin Quarter, within easy walking distance of Notre Dame, the Louvre, Musee d' Orsay, l' Orangerie, Tuileries, Luxembourg Gardens, and Pompidou. We walked to all of these sites and more, using our Paris Museum Pass (purchase at FNAC to avoid the lines at all the museums). The apartment has a modern, spotless bathroom with shower and the tiny kitchen is equipped with stove, dishwasher, refrig, and clothes washer. A brochure explains how all appliances, phone, and TV are operated, simple check-out procedure, restaurant listings, etc. We appreciated free WI-fi and phone service to the US. There are patisseries, boulangeries, charcuteries, fromageries, restaurants, and farmer's market a few steps from the apartment. We enjoyed a lovely evening concert at Sainte Chapelle and stopping for coffee at some of the numerous outdoor cafes. Our hosts provided a bookshelf loaded with maps, Paris walks, guidebooks, etc. A metro station is located nearby. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others without hesitation.

We had a wonderful time at Paul's apartment in Paris. The location couldn't be beat, right around to corner from Notre Dame, a metro station/taxi stand, and little market selling cheese, wine, bread and all the French essentials. Natasha was a terrific greeter providing tons of great info and a friendly face on arrival. Would highly recommend!

We are a family of three (two adults and one 2 year old) from London and we stayed in the apartment for a long weekend for our wedding anniversary. It was fantastic! The location, owners, apartment, etc etc. They gave us some inside tips about where to get bread, food, dinner, how to get around and what to see and do. The apartment was perfect for making meals at home or for on the go. Our 2 year old slept great in the cot and we were able to sip wine and plan our days in the evening. We have stayed in many self catering apartments all over Europe and this is at the top of this list. We cannot wait to go back, hopefully the flowers will be in bloom. Thank you for making our stay so perfect!

Everything about this apartment is perfect!! From Natasha's warm and enthusiastic greeting, to the location, to the super comfortable bed, to the stocked kitchen, to the fabulous decor, to the cleanliness of everything -- it is perfect!! If there were 6 stars, I would award them all to this property. It has absolutely everything to make your Parisian stay a delightful experience. The perfect location just off Place Maubert cannot be stressed enough. Everything you need is literally around the corner. Looking forward to our return someday soon. Ahhh...............

When planning our trip to Paris for our 25th anniversary I was looking to rent an apartment as we were staying for two weeks. I was concerned about online fraud so did a lot of research. Paul's apartment looked great and had great reviews. My experience with Paul from the beginning was great, we communicated by e-mail and he always replied fast and with good info. On arrival to Paris Natasha, a very friendly, outgoing, French lady met us at the apartment and showed us everything. She even taught us the two kiss French greeting! This small apartment is clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. They just bought a new couch for the living room where our friend stayed comfortably for a few days. The bedroom had a very comfortable large bed and a nice bathroom and shower with plenty of hot water. The area is fantastic, 2 minute walk to the Seine, 5 minute walk to Notre Dame, lots of restaurants and pubs and coffee shops and bakeries and wine shops. Paris is so beautiful and it was great to have our cozy apartment right in the middle of things, we were able to cook at home, do laundry, make calls, we felt like we were living in Paris. We highly recommend it!

When we arrived, our contact person was already at the apartment waiting for us. We received a warm greeting an some useful information. The apartment was small, but really charming and decorated with a lot of taste. Everything was fine and we liked staying there very much. And the best of all - it is located in Quatier Latin. In less than five minutes we could walk to the banks of Seine, to Isle de la Cité or to the Sorbonne. All in all it was really lovely and we had a perfect stay.

Nicely organized apartment steps away from Notre Dame, Shops, Restaurants, Night Life. We felt safe every minute. The flat was recently renovated and the furniture, beds, linens etc were all in great shape. Water pressure was excellent. Our host was gracious and took time to ensure we knew how everything worked. Best suited for couples or families with small children. Bathroom entry is in the bedroom. Would absolutely rent again. Toronto, Canada

We stayed here in June 2012 and are very glad we did. This was our second VRBO experience, and could not have been more different from our previous (not so great) Paris rental experience. The apt was wonderfully located, spotless, and remarkably quiet from outside street noise so we all slept soundly. There is some annoying TV noise once you are in bedroom from an upstairs neighbor, but even that ended around midnight and I think the issue was only exacerbated since they had their window open and it was echoing in the little pigeon courtyard. The fantastic intro and welcome that Natasha provided, in addition to the ease with which they enabled the booking and returned our security deposit made our visit completely worry-free. The well stocked (cutlery, wine glasses, and simple basics like salt, sugar) kitchen, the English news station on the TV, and the plentiful books also added to our comfort. We arrived on a Saturday morning so were able to walk across the street and gather fresh fish, eggs and cheese from the weekend market to avoid the exorbitant prices at local restaurants for breakfast (14 euros for fried eggs and toast). The bed and the pull out couch were very comfortable, and three adults all had hot water for showers. The only criticism we would have is that the bathroom door did not properly shut or lock, and the bathroom door had frosted glass planes which did not allow for much privacy. And a wish might be that some English-speaking movie or entertainment stations might be added to the cable package since we only could watch the news. One note to sensitive or allergic folks who might worry - while the foyer and stair well of the building had an awful mouldewy smell, the apt itself did not at all. It was clean, comfortable, chic and convenient. We would rent it again.

This is a clean, bright, well situated apartment. The owner and manager are friendly and accommodating. Only negatives: shower is small, and I continuously bumped the faucet, changing the water temperature. Doorway between bedroom and living room is short (maybe 5'11") and hard, and I nearly killed myself one night getting a drink of water when I forgot to duck.

Paul's Paris apartment was Perfect for our 5 day stay. It's a great central location, yet quiet at night, very comfortable, with space to unpack. A boulangerie, a market and a variety of restaurants are all close by. Bubbly Natasza is accommodating and personable - Thanks again!. You'll love it here too, but in Paris you won't be 'home' much, just long enough to open the wine, do some laundry and dry it on the heated towel rack!. At the Fountain on Place Saint-Michel check out the Sandman tours and go to Versailles with Andy.

This apartment was the perfect base for our almost-two weeks in Paris in April 2012. The apartment is comfortable, clean and neat; had well-maintained facilities (everything we needed down the the smallest detail, like umbrellas and lots of local tips); and was the perfect size for a couple, ie bigger than most one-bedrooms in Paris! It was in the perfect location too - walking distance to everything and with Notre Dame at the end of the street. We loved being able to do our own laundry, having access to English language TV channels and the phone was really handy too. Inside the apartment and building was quiet, but it was really close to many great places to eat and go out. We hardly needed it, since we walked most places, but the Metro was also really close. From our first communication, the owner responded quickly and was very helpful and efficient. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and our deposit was returned incredibly promptly. We look forward to coming to stay again and have been recommending the apartment to absolutely all of our friends and family. (Thanks for a great stay!)

The apartment was exactly as described and reviewed. Great space for the two of us, comfortable and well set up. The location is excellent, and one of the best things about this apartment. About a block away from Notre Dame, easy and fun walks in any direction, St Germain area resturants and everything that we needed within a 2 - 4 block area. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I spent four nights in this lovely apartment. A fantastic location with so many wonderful restaurants and shops almost right on the doorstep. Notre Dame is virtually at the end of the street and there are wonderful fresh food markets a few doors way. The Boulangerie was fantastic as were the other shops in the strip. Very easy to pick up a wonderful array of fresh french food to enjoy in the apartment rather than eating out for every meal. Whilst in the middle of all that Saint Germaine offers, it was a very quiet location. A very well appointed apartment - particularly with the bedroom being separate to the living area. An almost brand new bathroom with fantastic water pressure in the shower (something rare on our trip) and a thoughtfully provided hair dryer were a feature. There was also plenty of storage space. The appliances, crockery & utensils were exactly what we needed with some thoughtful extras included. And a lovely "fellow traveller" tradition of leaving any unused groceries for others to use (as we did also). As with most of Paris' apartments, the stairs proved a challenge with our luggage, but worth the effort to get there and we lucked out with one of the tradesmen working in the building offering to carry it for us on the way out! Paul was very helpful in the booking process and very prompt in his response. Natasza met us on arrival and was very informative with local knowledge, tips and showing us how everything worked. A good tip for English speaking guests is not only the Paris 24/7 programme in English, but if you're craving some English speaking drama, the Kuwaiti 2 channel (with arabic sub titles) was a find! I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a good location from which you can walk to almost anything. Particularly for a couple looking for a bit of space it was a real find and good value for money.

The apartment matched its description in Chez Nous exactly, except that it exceeded all expectations. The bed is extremely comfortable, the amenities are what is required, and the welcome is warm and friendly. Locally, the little square in Maubert has a good market and cafes, with low cost shops too. The apartment is within easy walking distance of the entire Latin Quarter, but also Notre Dame and the Rue de Rivoli on the right bank. We spent New Year's Eve at Bofinger near Bastille, and that was easy walking too. Can't recommend this apartment enough! We come to Paris a lot. This beats anywhere we've stayed before.

This apartment is a must for those who want to be centrally located in the Latin Quarter, yet would like the privacy and quiet of a cozy apartment. We were there during the Christmas Holiday. You can literally see Notre Dame once you walk onto the street. We opened the windows and were able to hear the bells on Christmas Eve!! The owner was responsible and prompt in all of our communication. His host Benoit, greeted us upon arrival and answered all of our needs. During our stay, we needed some assistance on finding a specific box to ship an antique back to the US. Benoit was able to find the location, call them to confirm and give us the easiest directions. It made a potentially challenging situation, seamless. The apartment itself has all of the amenities that you won't need to pack: An iron, CD Player, Umbrella as well as a washing machine! There is a pullout sofa which was great.( Our daughter was in Paris and could stay with us for a few evenings) The bed was extremely comfortable, the towels and sheets of the highest quality, a nice stream of hot water from the shower, and all the glasses, china and silverware we needed during our stay. We own a Bed and Breakfast in Woodstock NY. Our standards are very high, (as we have a responsibility to guests who join us here at Pike Lane. I can only say wonderful things about the apartment. A high recommendation!

I've rented many different apartments in Paris over the years, but this one combines comfort, cleanliness, affordability and location at its best. In a hotel you just visit Paris, in this apartment you live there. It's a moment away from bustling shops, restaurants, the Metro and the Seine, yet it is a quiet haven to come home to. The owner is dependable, honest and informative, which, regrettably, one does not always experience in apartment rentals. Be sure to eat at Pipo's, a tiny restaurant at the corner of rue d'Ecole Polytechnique, and shop at the open air market in Place Maubert. You can rent this apartment with confidence -- just don't do it on the dates I want to return!

We enjoyed every minute starting with the wonderful and enthusiastic introduction by N. All transactions were smooth and owner was very helpful with questions. I've already recommended this apartment to two friends who will be travelling to Paris soon. It's even better than expected. - comfortable seating and sleeping quarters, a very functional kitchen (which of course we never used--too many great reataurants nearby!) Every effort was make to make us comfortable and inform us about the operation of the unit and amenities nearby--Thanks Natacha! The most surprising fact was how easy it was to arrive and leave. We arrived at DeGaulle and were able to take the RER train to a stop that was walking distance to the apartment. When we left for Provence, we were again able to walk to a nearby metro stop and take a train directly to the Gare de Lyon. While sightseeing in town, we could walk to everything, the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, The Cluny and Rodin Museums and many top rated restaurants and bistrots. We felt like true Parisians. The daily rate was extremely reasonable and I can't recommend it highly enough. When we return to Paris, we certailnly won't look any further..

Undoubtedly one of the best things about this apartment is its location. Down a quiet side street you only have to walk 50 meters in either direction to fine a vast array of bars, restaurants, shops and tourist attractions. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome and given a lot of useful information about the apartment and surrounding area. The apartment itself was clean, well maintained and well equipped. We were a family of four so it was cosy but being able to stay in a traditional Parisian apartment really added to our experience. If we are lucky enough to return to Paris we would definitely stay hear again and I not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family.

We thoroughly enjoyed the apartment, fantastic location, very clean and well equipped. Everything needed for a holiday. We particularly liked the double glazing in the windows!!! What a lively City Paris is. Natasha was very helpful and gave us plenty of her time, explaining everything we needed to know. As she had to wait for us a little while, due to our taxi driver having an accident on on our way there, she was very understanding. I also thought the apartment was very clean and dust free. It has been a pleasure dealing with you and I will definitely stay in your apartment when I return to France.

Stayed here the first week of May '11 and it was beautiful! This is a good size apartment that could sleep 2 couples (although the sofa bed may be tight for two people). The bedroom opens into a tiny outdoor area closed off from the street, so you don't hear anything at night. Comfy bed, fully stocked kitchen, lots of Paris tour guides on the bookshelf, so don't bother buying one. The location was great too -- 2 minutes from the river; 5 minutes from Notre Dame; 7 minutes from RER and the Metro; smack in the middle of all the great bakeries, cafes and restaurants. The little square next to the apartment hosts an open air market a couple days a week, which is a great place to get nice cheeses, veggies, meats etc if you choose to cook. I haven't stayed anywhere else in Paris, but I imagine this apt is tough to beat - especially for the price. Highly recommend!

This was a home away from home for our 1st time in Paris. Boulangerie across the road is wonderful. We loved it here and will most likely return soon.

Was here with my mum & sister & we loved it! The fromagerie, boulangerie & charcuterie near the metro are amazing, & the Shakespeare & Co. bookstore around the corner is divine. Le Marais (walking distance) has some great shopping & vintage stores. Everything is within walking distance which was so convenient. I love it here & never want to leave!

This is my 2nd stay in this apartment. Love this place! It’s so comfortable & close to everything; the Metro, RER, supermarkets, restaurants… Will definitely come back & recommend to our friends.

A lovely return to Paris after 5 weeks on the road. Location is very good as were the restaurant recommendations made by other guests.

We loved our time here, Paris in the spring is beautiful. Fantastic area - we enjoyed exploring the narrow streets & being able to walk to the sights.
