The apartment was exactly as described and reviewed. Great space for the two of us, comfortable and well set up. The location is excellent, and one of the best things about this apartment. About a block away from Notre Dame, easy and fun walks in any direction, St Germain area resturants and everything that we needed within a 2 - 4 block area. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I spent four nights in this lovely apartment. A fantastic location with so many wonderful restaurants and shops almost right on the doorstep. Notre Dame is virtually at the end of the street and there are wonderful fresh food markets a few doors way. The Boulangerie was fantastic as were the other shops in the strip. Very easy to pick up a wonderful array of fresh french food to enjoy in the apartment rather than eating out for every meal. Whilst in the middle of all that Saint Germaine offers, it was a very quiet location. A very well appointed apartment - particularly with the bedroom being separate to the living area. An almost brand new bathroom with fantastic water pressure in the shower (something rare on our trip) and a thoughtfully provided hair dryer were a feature. There was also plenty of storage space. The appliances, crockery & utensils were exactly what we needed with some thoughtful extras included. And a lovely "fellow traveller" tradition of leaving any unused groceries for others to use (as we did also). As with most of Paris' apartments, the stairs proved a challenge with our luggage, but worth the effort to get there and we lucked out with one of the tradesmen working in the building offering to carry it for us on the way out! Paul was very helpful in the booking process and very prompt in his response. Natasza met us on arrival and was very informative with local knowledge, tips and showing us how everything worked. A good tip for English speaking guests is not only the Paris 24/7 programme in English, but if you're craving some English speaking drama, the Kuwaiti 2 channel (with arabic sub titles) was a find! I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a good location from which you can walk to almost anything. Particularly for a couple looking for a bit of space it was a real find and good value for money.

The apartment matched its description in Chez Nous exactly, except that it exceeded all expectations. The bed is extremely comfortable, the amenities are what is required, and the welcome is warm and friendly. Locally, the little square in Maubert has a good market and cafes, with low cost shops too. The apartment is within easy walking distance of the entire Latin Quarter, but also Notre Dame and the Rue de Rivoli on the right bank. We spent New Year's Eve at Bofinger near Bastille, and that was easy walking too. Can't recommend this apartment enough! We come to Paris a lot. This beats anywhere we've stayed before.

This apartment is a must for those who want to be centrally located in the Latin Quarter, yet would like the privacy and quiet of a cozy apartment. We were there during the Christmas Holiday. You can literally see Notre Dame once you walk onto the street. We opened the windows and were able to hear the bells on Christmas Eve!! The owner was responsible and prompt in all of our communication. His host Benoit, greeted us upon arrival and answered all of our needs. During our stay, we needed some assistance on finding a specific box to ship an antique back to the US. Benoit was able to find the location, call them to confirm and give us the easiest directions. It made a potentially challenging situation, seamless. The apartment itself has all of the amenities that you won't need to pack: An iron, CD Player, Umbrella as well as a washing machine! There is a pullout sofa which was great.( Our daughter was in Paris and could stay with us for a few evenings) The bed was extremely comfortable, the towels and sheets of the highest quality, a nice stream of hot water from the shower, and all the glasses, china and silverware we needed during our stay. We own a Bed and Breakfast in Woodstock NY. Our standards are very high, (as we have a responsibility to guests who join us here at Pike Lane. I can only say wonderful things about the apartment. A high recommendation!

I've rented many different apartments in Paris over the years, but this one combines comfort, cleanliness, affordability and location at its best. In a hotel you just visit Paris, in this apartment you live there. It's a moment away from bustling shops, restaurants, the Metro and the Seine, yet it is a quiet haven to come home to. The owner is dependable, honest and informative, which, regrettably, one does not always experience in apartment rentals. Be sure to eat at Pipo's, a tiny restaurant at the corner of rue d'Ecole Polytechnique, and shop at the open air market in Place Maubert. You can rent this apartment with confidence -- just don't do it on the dates I want to return!

This property was exactly as described and met all our needs. Just the right amount of space; great amenities (washing machine inside the counter was amazing!); perfect location; quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed every minute starting with the wonderful and enthusiastic introduction by N. All transactions were smooth and owner was very helpful with questions. We would highly recommend this property to others. It was great for a couple's get-away and we plan to do so again! The apartment contains a very nice and helpful collection of paris travel books and recommendations from prior renters.

I've already recommended this apartment to two friends who will be travelling to Paris soon. It's even better than expected. - comfortable seating and sleeping quarters, a very functional kitchen (which of course we never used--too many great reataurants nearby!) Every effort was make to make us comfortable and inform us about the operation of the unit and amenities nearby--Thanks Natacha! The most surprising fact was how easy it was to arrive and leave. We arrived at DeGaulle and were able to take the RER train to a stop that was walking distance to the apartment. When we left for Provence, we were again able to walk to a nearby metro stop and take a train directly to the Gare de Lyon. While sightseeing in town, we could walk to everything, the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, The Cluny and Rodin Museums and many top rated restaurants and bistrots. We felt like true Parisians. The daily rate was extremely reasonable and I can't recommend it highly enough. When we return to Paris, we certailnly won't look any further..

Undoubtedly one of the best things about this apartment is its location. Down a quiet side street you only have to walk 50 meters in either direction to fine a vast array of bars, restaurants, shops and tourist attractions. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome and given a lot of useful information about the apartment and surrounding area. The apartment itself was clean, well maintained and well equipped. We were a family of four so it was cosy but being able to stay in a traditional Parisian apartment really added to our experience. If we are lucky enough to return to Paris we would definitely stay hear again and I not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family.

We thoroughly enjoyed the apartment, fantastic location, very clean and well equipped. Everything needed for a holiday. We particularly liked the double glazing in the windows!!! What a lively City Paris is. Natasha was very helpful and gave us plenty of her time, explaining everything we needed to know. As she had to wait for us a little while, due to our taxi driver having an accident on on our way there, she was very understanding. I also thought the apartment was very clean and dust free. It has been a pleasure dealing with you and I will definitely stay in your apartment when I return to France.

Stayed here the first week of May '11 and it was beautiful! This is a good size apartment that could sleep 2 couples (although the sofa bed may be tight for two people). The bedroom opens into a tiny outdoor area closed off from the street, so you don't hear anything at night. Comfy bed, fully stocked kitchen, lots of Paris tour guides on the bookshelf, so don't bother buying one. The location was great too -- 2 minutes from the river; 5 minutes from Notre Dame; 7 minutes from RER and the Metro; smack in the middle of all the great bakeries, cafes and restaurants. The little square next to the apartment hosts an open air market a couple days a week, which is a great place to get nice cheeses, veggies, meats etc if you choose to cook. I haven't stayed anywhere else in Paris, but I imagine this apt is tough to beat - especially for the price. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful holiday in Paris and really appreciated the serenity of this apartment. We loved shopping at the market and preparing our food. A great way to understand Parisian culture a bit more. We celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary here so will have great memories of Paris, St. Germain, and our Paris apartment. Thank you for a wonderful stay with everything we needed. An enthusiastic welcome from Natasha at 9am Monday morning! Merci beaucoup.

Was here with my mum & sister & we loved it! The fromagerie, boulangerie & charcuterie near the metro are amazing, & the Shakespeare & Co. bookstore around the corner is divine. Le Marais (walking distance) has some great shopping & vintage stores. Everything is within walking distance which was so convenient. I love it here & never want to leave!
