Perfect location for a girls weekend away!! Spacious location with gorgeous views of the water in close proximity to Coupeville and Fort Casey. The house itself is beautiful, very clean, all the necessary amenities, comfy beds with numerous places to read a book, watch TV, or sit and watch the ferries!! Definitely will go back again -- great location!!

This house was perfect for our girls' weekend. All four beds were very comfortable, the two living areas allowed for some to read, some to watch tv, some to just relax by the fire. The view from the house is stunning - all moutains and water! The front deck is spectacular - a place you never want to leave. Coupleville was just a short drive away with perfect shopping for a day. The house was perfectly clean and the kitchen has all the comforts of home.

This house has everything you could want for a wonderful beach vacation. The home was very comfortable with terrific amenties. It's right on the beach with spectacular views of the mountains and water, has a beautiful kitchen with all the comforts of home, a new bathroom (one of 3), a fireplace and cozy family room. We stayed there for a girl's weekend and had the time of our lives! I would definitely recommend this property!

Our weekend stay at this property was amazing and so relaxing! Our dog loved having the water right at our doorstep, and the house was so comfortable, easy, and inviting. Spectacular views in the day and cozy in the night! Everything was in perfect condition, and for families, the house was stocked with plenty of books, games, and movies! Also, it is in the perfect location and only about a 5-10 minute drive from Coupeville. We can't say enough good things about our weekend stay and will definitely be going back very soon!

We had a great time at your cozy beach house. The views and beach are spectacular. We would love to stay at this house again in the future. The only problem is the lack of Internet or wifi! Other than that a perfect beach trip with our dogs!
Owner response:Beginning October 2011, Internet and Wifi will be available at this property!

My children and I stayed with friends at this perfect guesthouse, not a "vacation" house but a true residence with everything you would expect in an established home. Plenty of room, great big screen TV, views are wonderful, right on the beach, we walked to Ft. Casey state park and watched Navy Jets practice touch and go landings from the beach front deck. Large deck with BBQ, table, charis, lounges, everything you would need. There are services nearby, good restaurants, Ice cream and grocery stores. I will definitely bring my family here again.

It was everything and more than we had hoped for. The perfect vacation. The perfect beach house. The great deck was hard to leave. We were on it from morning coffee to nightcaps by the fire. The front yard IS the beach. Views from just about every every window. It was fun to watch the ferries and cruise ships. The eagle was a regular visitor. Wonderful kitchen with everything we needed. Lot's of beach walks. No leash needed for the pup. She got lots of exercise jumping over driftwood and running in the sand, swimming and lounging on the deck with the rest of us.Tennis ball and launcher was appreciated. Gardens were beautiful and unexpected at the beach. Big screen TV for movies was great. Comfy beds. We did manage to take ourselves away from the house for a few fun trips t0 Coupeville (Toby's) and Langley (Primo Bistro good lunch). We will hopefully be back next year to see some of the sights we missed.

My family and I (my wife and two daughters) had a great time. The beach was awesome and the agates were beautiful. All of our necessities were met and more!! It was clean and fresh. It was our first stay in home like this and would love to come again. We were gifted it by our dear friends and are extremely happy that we came. The house is close to other really cool attractions - double bluff beach, Forts Casey and Ebey and Coupeville. Very highly recommended!!

Our stay was amazing. The house was even better than we had hoped. Everything was in great condition and comfortable. We didn't need to bring anything except groceries and personal items.....and if we had forgotten something, there were staples there to supplement. We loved the fireplaces, and the view is incredible. Watching the eagles soar in the wind, seals in the waves and the beauty of the Olympic Pennisula were all sensory bonuses. We had our doggies with us and they had a great time. The house is very dog friendly. I would absolutely recommend this home to my friends and would return for a repeat visit.

We just spent 3 nights in this wonderful home. It had everything you would ever need from the well stocked kitchen to the family room filled with games, movies and books. There were 4 adults, 2 kids and a dog in our party and everyone had their own space. The views from the great room, dining room & kitchen were incredible. You truly have the feeling of being on the water which was so relaxing. All of the personal touches in this home made the experience so special -- it was like visiting family. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We had a wonderful thanksgiving weekend at your beach front property – I would definitely recommend it to anyone. The pictures are accurate - including the bald eagle which landed on the very same flag pole throughout our stay. The place is totally stocked for all that our family of four + dog needed. The kitchen easily got us through cooking way too much thanksgiving food, and then Coupeville restaurants got us through the rest! On colder evenings we enjoyed the panoramic Puget Sound views right from the living room couch and on warmer evenings we enjoyed time on the deck over a warm fire. The home owners are very easy to work with, were very thoughtful on preparing us for the trip, and the local caretaker was very attentive and helpful (although we did not need any help because the place really is ready to go). Thank you for a great family trip.

We thought the place looked great when we saw it online, but it was no comparison to being there. The home is wonderful. Totally stocked with everything we needed (more so than my own kitchen!) The view sitting in the living room is spectacular. I was in heaven just sitting there, and didn't feel like I needed anything else to make me satisfied. The kids absolutely had a ball on the beach, playing with the driftwood (and whatever else they were doing). In the evenings we played games and watched movies together. I really can't say enough complimentary things about our weekend. Thank you to the amazing homeowners and caretaker. The K's

This house was perfect for our girls' weekend. All four beds were very comfortable, the two living areas allowed for some to read, some to watch tv. The view from the house is unbelievable. The deck was very spacious and inviting. We walked on the beach, hiked Ebey's Landing and around Fort Casey. Coupleville was just a short drive away with perfect shopping for a day. We celebrated our 40th birthdays dining at the Oystercatcher. Delicious. The house was perfectly clean and the kitchen was stocked with every need. This was my first trip here without children, and it was fabulous. The pictures almost do it justice, but being in that fresh ocean air staring at the mountains is what it's all about.

It's my 1st visit and I've lived in the Pacific Northwest for over 30 years. We stopped at Greenbank for fresh shrawberries-no luck. But we ended up at the local Saturday market. Yum! We also experienced Toby's Tavern where my husband sampled local brew and we feasted on ussels and burgers! The house is lovely. We were amazed at how organized everything is. Love it!! And to think that I threw an extra roll of TP in the car! We love love loved the fact that our Australian shepherd was able to share in our fun. Lots of "lounge" space, the fire-pit (and oodles of nearby wood) was great for cooking and fire side chats. No clams here but 10 minutes away provided us with appetizers and anticipation of delicious chowder!! Saw lots of cruise ships AND a spouting whale! All and all~ a quaint place to relax, rejuvenate and reconnect. We'd all love to return someday. Thanks for sharing this heavenly haven!

Who says Memorial Day Weekend never has nice weather? The only thing better than the weather this weekend was the accomodations for our two families! What we did: hike to Ebey's Landing, geocaching, building beach forts. We had a blast!

What a great time-beautiful peaceful surroundings and warm, wonderful friends. Snow on the mountains, car trunk full of rocks and driftwood, Victoria Clipper went by on time at 9:15. We'll talk about our memories from these two days again and again. Thank you so much for sharing this lovely piece of your world with us! What a great getaway!

We had an awesome time with the girls. (1st timer). Water was beautiful, blue and green. The water traffic coming in from the Strait was really fun to watch, the birds too! Slept great. Just a wonderful place.

We couldn't believe what a gem your place was! It was perfect for our family-the kids loved climbing in the driftwood forts on the beach close to the house, our dogs had a ball swimming and running on the beach and we enjoyed the spectacular view from the deck. We had the luck to watch the cruise ships go by, the cargo ships (huge!) and even a nuclear sub heading out from Bangor. All that with the Olympic Mountains in the background was amazing. The bald eagle even came to perch on the flag pole out front! The house was spotless, spacious, up to date and had everything we needed to make ourselves at home (even the toys, stocked book and video library!) Exploring Fort Casey and watching the Keystone Ferry go out were other great perks. It was great!
