This beautiful pristine Charleston style beach home has 6 bedrooms, 4.5 baths and is only 3 homes from the beach. The home is located at 4 Driftwood Lane which is a private lane in North Forest Beach and is only 75 steps from the beach and 1 mile from Coligny Plaza. The home has undergone an extensive, top-notch renovation that was completed 2/28/11. The expansive living area includes plenty of seating, new hardwood floors, 55" LCD/LED flat screen TV and is even equipped with a desk if you must bring the laptop to the beach. The spacious new gourmet kitchen is open to the living and dining the perfect spot for family and friends to gather. The kitchen has new stainless steel appliances, all new cabinets; new granite island with plenty of seating for the kids and the dining table has seating for 12. There is a half bath and laundry area with new full size high efficency front loading washer and dryer located on the first floor. One of the master suites is also on the first floor with new/ gorgeous Tommy Bahama furniture and a private bath with a jacuzzi tub. All King and Queen bedding is new "World Class " premium mattress & box springs. We have also been proactive and protected our bedding from Bed Bugs, Dust mites and Allergens so you can sleep on nothing but the best and safest beds.
There is beautiful wooden staircase leads to the second floor where you will find the remaining 5 bedrooms and 3 baths. There is a second master suite with king bedding, "World Class" Premium new mattress/box spring, linens, private bath and access to the veranda with seating. There are 2 other bedrooms that have queen bedding, also with new "World Class" Premium mattresses/box springs, linens and the 2 additional bedrooms both have two twin beds each. All bedrooms have new 32" flat screen TVs, linens and accessories. There is new carpet flooring throughout the bedrooms and the entire interior of the home has been freshly painted. You will enjoy a fantastic nights sleep and feel refreshed to enjoy the beautiful sunshine the next day.
The home has a private sunny pool that is spacious and can be heated for an additional cost. The deck furniture is all new! There are 2 tables, 2 umbrellas, a grill , plenty of seating (12) and lounge chairs (6) for the entire guest. Come relax and enjoy all this newly renovated home has to offer. This is the best home I've ever stayed at on HHI. The pictures don't do it justice. You can't get the feel of the big open living/kitchen/dining area from the photos. It was also very well stocked - and the extra toilet in the laundry room was so handy! We had 13 and had plenty of room to get away from each other! The up and down decks were great - we spent a lot of time out there enjoying the shade and breeze. The beds and tvs were great. The walk to the beach was so close - just as described. And the beach area was NOT at all crowded, even during the Memorial Day weekend. The people from Palmetto Sands were so easy to deal with. No problem picking uo the keys - very efficient. They came by and checked on us during our stay to make sure all was well. Had a great trip and would highly recommend it. Hope to visit again!
Recommended for:Pet owners, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
