Great weekend away
Great weekend away
My boyfriend and I enjoyed this beautiful lake front home for a long weekend. The house was amazing. Beautiful lake views, great location and plenty of room. Reading and coffee on the deck overlooking the lake was the icing on the cake for this getaway. We will be back!

The boathouse was more than we had hoped for, and so was the area. The house is charming, and the game room was a great back up--though we spent most of our time on the deck. The kayaking was wonderful, and there are challenging hiking trails up Mount Sunapee a stone's throw from the same deck. We are so lucky to have found this home-away-from-home, and are grateful for the week we had.

Owner response: Thanks so much for the great gifts you left for us including the home made mead and your creative painting of the view across the lake. We'll place it in the boathouse for our guests to enjoy as they relax.
This place is absolutely amazing. There is a ton of stuff to do. I even jumped in the water today and the temperature was about 34 degrees. I had a great time here. I might be biased because I like to do high adrenaline sports.

Owner response: Thanks PJ, glad you had fun!
We had an absolutely wonderful week at this boathouse in August 07. The lake is right there, which is what we loved. If you enjoy being ON the water, you will enjoy this spot. We put our boat in at the beginning of the week and didn't worry about taking it out until the end of our stay. Tied right up next to the boathouse. Kitchen was well equipped for our teenagers and their appetites and everyting worked and was clean! The owners could not have been more accomodating, helpful, and friendly. It was a perfect week and we can not wait to go back!
