Stella Di Mare is a luxurious, four bedroom, three bath, private, beachfront villa situated on the Ambergris Caye four and a half miles North of San Pedro Town. It offers memorable views, privacy, and unmatched convenience, as well as features breathtaking 360 degree ocean and lagoon views from the third floor verandah with a large palapa and hot tub. We've added a beautiful custom private pool with infinity edge that faces the ocean! And now featuring wireless internet access!
The second floor features two master suites with private baths and air conditioning plus colorful living area and walk-out verandah. On the lower level, enjoy the full kitchen with mahogany custom cabinets, breakfast bar, family room area, and walk-out verandah, plus two more bedrooms with air conditioning and one full bath. All rooms have ceiling fans. The villa is beautifully decorated with Belizean hardwoods, custom hand-painted tiles and details from around the globe, and is completely equipped. Sleeps eight.

My family of 6 stayed at this house for two weeks in February 2013. This place is fantastic. It is right on the ocean. The views are amazing. It is like a movie. From the rooftop you have a perfect view of the ocean and the lagoon. There is a spa on the rooftop as well that you can view the ocean or the stars while relaxing in it. You have an awesome view of the ocean while swimming in the pool as well! Loved it! There are many restaurants within walking distance. You can also take a water taxi from the pier into town. We also rented a golf cart. Be aware if you rent a golf cart-the roads north of the bridge are quite crater like. It is guaranteed to be a bumpy ride, but well worth it to get into town! Victor and Naomi were the best! They were so helpful. Victor helped arrange all of our excursions which we were able to leave for right from our own pier. We went snorkeling in Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley, cave tubing, visited the Mayan ruins, went horseback riding, went on a catamaran, did some deep sea fishing (I caught a barracuda), and went to Caye Caulker. Naomi also cooked for us, which was delicious! I would give the property 5 stars, but the interior is not quite as fabulous as the exterior. There are some minor maintenance issues that need to be addressed; however, everything one needs is provided for. It is nice to have daily housekeeping, which Naomi does a great job. Stella Di Mare was the perfect location in terms of privacy and proximity to town. Bring lots of bug spray and sunblock. Belize is the best vacation I have been on so far!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We stayed at Stella Di Mare with a group of 8. We could not have had a better time. The house was amazing with all of the amenities. Victor and Noemi were so helpful to us and we got a taste of the culture by spending time with them. Victor helped arrange some private tours for us. I would recommend the cave-tubing and mayan ruins tours and the snorkelling/catamaran tour. Noemi is an amazing cook and I would recommend you have her cook for you as often as she is willing! There are tons of restaurants on the island and within walking distance from the house. I can't wait to go back!!!!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We had a wonderful time at your beautiful villa. Stella di Mare is truly a gem! Victor and his wife are some of the sweetest people that we have ever met. They are a real family filled with love and happiness. It was a pleasure to be in their company. It is amazing how simple their lives are, yet completely grateful for what they have. The house is in a perfect location, very private, yet many very good restaurants within walking distance. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We are looking forward to our next trip there. We stayed at Stella di Mare with a group of eight and it, honestly, could not have been better. Victor and his family were so kind and helpful and made our trip even more enjoyable. The house looks even better than the photos (which are great) with the light coming in through the upstairs living area. The bedroom were breezy and comfortable and I have to admit that I really enjoyed having air conditioning on occasion! And the paintings of the toucans in the children's room was a nice touch! The area is nice and quiet but you can walk in either direction to some wonderful restaurants. I would love to return to the Stella Di Mare!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I just returned from a weeklong getaway on Ambergris Caye and am so delighted with our house that I had to write a review. Stella Di Mare was perfect--ideal for a large group of people (we were 7 women), but would also be fabulous for one or two couples with kids. It was just a 15 minute boat ride from San Pedro, which I'm so glad we didn't stay in, and how many people get to commute into town by boat. The house was beautiful, the pool was amazing and had nice outdoor furniture for all of us, the kitchen had everything we needed, the dining room was large and the table big enough for all of us, the bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of closet space, the bathrooms were clean and nice, and our caretakers Victor and Naomi were incredibly friendly and helpful. We happened to have the opportunity to see another comparably priced rental while we were there and I'm just so happy that we chose Stella Di Mare.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children.
