This place is fantastic! The villa is beautiful with decor so light and airy it immediately lifts the spirit! The grounds surrounding the villa are gorgeous. Big beautiful trees with Spanish Moss swaying on them are just outside the windows. Talk about relaxing! Feels like home with books to read, games to play, DVD's to watch and all the little extras. Jill was so helpful with guide books and recommendations for the area. Our family of five hit the beach, rode bikes, shopped, and had lots of good food on the island. The kids kayaked, parasailed and got to swim with dolphins up close! Dad and son went sailing while Mom and daughters shopped and dined. There is something for everyone. When we were worn out, we would go back to Mike and Jill's villa. The kids would swim at the pool while we relaxed in their lovely vacation home. What a trip this turned out to be!

Fabulous villa!

We visit HHI every year and this was the first year we stayed at Mike and Jill's villa - what a treat! Had a wonderful week, the kids loved our close approximation to the pool and we discovered some new gems this visit, i.e., Bravo pizza is the BEST, Signe's blackberry french toast - YUM and we tried Ruan Thai and it was incredible. Also we did a family kayaking trip on the Broad Creek and after a wonderful start to our morning paddling in the water, we were treated to a dolphin mother and a couple young ones feeding. Came right up to our kayaks! Thanks, again, Jill and Mike for letting us stay at your villa! It was a perfect transition point in our upcoming move!

Villa in Paradise

Jill and Mike's villa was perfect for our family of 5. The place was nicely decorated, clean and well maintained. It is so relaxing and peaceful close to the lagoon. My kids loved having the pool so close. We enjoyed the Island, riding bikes and relaxing at the Villa. Jill was great to work with and will give you everything you need to get there and settled in.

Our family of 5 went to HHI the last two weeks of July and what a joy it was! Mike and Jill worked with us to make sure we had everything we needed and were content with the villa. I bugged Jill many times with questions and she always made me feel like I was never a bother. The villa was clean and bright. The main bedroom sleep number bed was AWESOME! We really want one now. We have teenagers and they loved the villa. Our time spent there was one we will cherish and we thank you Mike and Jill. Cant wait to come back!

Jill, I knew when we first entered your villa that it was an excellent choice. All of the furniture and artwork is exquisite. We appreciated the fact that the villa was not full of tables of brick and brack. Many times we have had to clear tables and put stuff in corners just to play cards. The weather was great and the little bit of rain was no problem. We played bridge, made homemade chili, watched t.v., and had a marvelous week in your home away from home. We will look at your calendar first when we return to Hilton Head Island.

I was a little nervous about renting directly from an owner. From my first contact will Jill I knew that my family's vacation was in good hands. Jill was warm, friendly and answered all of my many questions. She wa a pleasure to work with. Our written communication and instructions were eqyally good. The villa exceed our expectations. It was open, airy and beautifully decorated. We truly felt we had all the comforts of home. It was very clean and very well maintained. What an incredible value! The mid island location was perfect-- close to everything but tucked into a quiet peaceful setting. We used the pool several times and each time was the only family in the pool. The beach was beautiful and having facilities so close was perfect for my preschooler. I can't thank you enough for sharing your villa. It was a wonderful vaction that we hope to repeat again soon!

This was our first time as a family of 4 to visit HH and stay somewhere other than a hotel. It was truly wonderful! The unit was immaculate, very well taken care of, and spacious and the landscape is lush and private. A highly recommend! Jill was wonderful and very helpful. One of our best vacations so far.. will definitely return.

Thank you so much Jill for our wonderful vacation. We stayed at your beautiful condo the week of July 5th, and loved every minute of it. The condo is spotless and was decorated with excellent taste. It had everything we needed, from beach toys for kids, to all the kitchen essentials for us to cook, bake, etc. The location is perfect- only a short bike ride to the beach. We loved how quiet the condo was, and the lay out was perfect for us ( we have two small children). The pool is so close and is very nice. We have recommended your place to friends. Fabulous vacation! Mike and Jill's place is even better than we expected. Spacious, well-kept, and with all the amenities that anyone could need. We had a great time grilling on the BBQ outside at night! We found the villa to be in a great location, perfect for exploring the abundance of golf courses nearby, and close to a number of excellent restaurants. We are already trying to find dates to return, and are figuring out how we can find banking/teaching jobs in the area so we can live there permanently!

Hi Jill and Mike, This was our first trip to HHI and we loved it! We felt right at home in your villa. It was comfortable, casual, well-equipped, has a lovely patio, tons of DVDs (which we never had time to watch!), great location and we loved the keyless entry- really convenient. We could easily bike to the beach and Shelter Cove and we walked to Alexander's for dinner one night- highly recommend the Mahi-Mahi! All-in-all a great golf vacation. Thanks for renting us your lovely villa... you've done a great job with it.

Dear Jill, We have just finished our month in your condo on Hilton Head. This is the second year we have been to Hilton Head and I can't tell you how much better this year was. Your place was so clean, neat and beautifully decorated. The mirrors on the wall reflected the lagoon and fountain giving the feeling that we were surrounded by the outdoors. The inside was roomy with separated bedrooms and 2 complete baths. The pool was literally 20 steps away but hidden enough so that we still had privacy. We weren't sure we wanted to spend another year in HH. Now we can't wait to get back. Thanks, Linda & Jack

Jill, Just a note saying how great of a time we had..Kaitlyn (my 13 yr old) just loved the sunroom spot..the girls lived at the beach and at the pool...I saw several alligators while i was playing golf...I hope we did not leave to big of a mess...the girls fought over who was going to press the buttons to get in lol...although the first 2 days we got lost several times in st andrews commons lol...Would highly recommend the "kids cruise" onboard the gypsy...kids caught alot of foot long sharks...everything was fabulous except tracy getting stung by a jellyfish!!! If you need to refer anyone to me for a reference, please send them my way...oh yeah the girls said they enjoyed this vacation alot more than a caribbean cruise...and again thanks very much Paul C.

Dear Jill and Mike, Just got back from HH. We had a wonderful time at your villa. Everything worked out just great. No trouble to find it, even at 9:00 at night in the dark. The rooms were really spacious and comfortable. The living area was super as we would relax after golf, watch the Olympics, make a light breakfast, and would go out for lovely evening dinners. There was plenty of linens and towels to last the week. There were great views of the fountain and golf course every morning that we enjoyed. Thanks for sharing your place with us. Good morning: We thoroughly enjoyed your condo. It was very spacious, nicely decorated and very warm feeling. My daughter did very good at her gymnastics meet, although only competing two events due to an injury she received the week prior to going. I attribute that to her getting lots of rest since there was no loud activity at the condo like there would have been at the hotel. Hi Jill. EVERYTHING was absolutely exceptional! What a great holiday --unseasonably warm and only one day of rain. We managed a few rounds of golf and quiet dinners out (the babysitting arrangements worked out well with Hilton Head Babysitting Service). And the baby gear worked out well too, and allowed us to take the baby on each of our morning runs. The villa was fabulous. I wish I could offer you a suggestion but I can't think of anything that would improve it (except perhaps a gas BBQ)!. We really, really enjoyed it - clean and very comfortable. So thank YOU very much for making our vacation so memorable and enjoyable.

Dear Jill, Everything was super! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your condo. Treated it just like home - took our shoes off at the door! Everyone did some reading at the reading center off the dining room. Two couches were great for stretching out to watch CSI and movies. I had taped Bobby Jones and brought it but we weatched your DVD instead. Also watched your Alamo DVD. The weather was cloudy but still warm enough for shorts and short sleeves. Our bikes were waiting for us when we got there and we added many miles to them. Riding on the beach was a first and so much fun! Thank you again for being so nice and thoughtful throughout our correspondence and rental of your condo.

This was our 8th visit to Hilton Head Island. This villa was the nicest and the cleanest we have ever visited. It is quiet, secluded and very well kept. The pool is only a few steps away and beach close enough to walk. We are already planning our trip for next year.

Hi, Jill! We returned Sunday after an absolutely wonderful week. The highs for the week were in the 80's and the lows in the low 70's - and best of all, the humidity was very low for that area - around 25%. It rained at night a few times but not during the day. We found the villa to be beautiful and very comfortable. I believe this is my 12th trip to the Island and have to rate the accomodations very high. The location is beautiful and I love all the windows. By far, your villa is the cleanest we have ever rented! The only items of concern were that we could not find a remote for the bedroom TV, and a piece of one of the kitchen floor boards is broken off and a little sharp. Other than that everything was great. We ate in every other evening and found the "George Foreman" to be wonderful. Also, other villas we have rented only had stackable washers and dryers - having the full-size units was convenient. We want to thank you for allowing us to use your "second home" - we hope to return to that beautiful place again soon, and will keep your unit in mind.

We loved the layout and your interior decorations! It definitely created a very relaxing atmosphere and the flow was great. The location was wonderful too! It was just in the middle so you didn't have to drive very far to go to anything.Of course we had to enjoy the lovely pool at St Andrews it was very relaxing in the evening. All in all, we were VERY pleased with the Villa and would LOVE to stay again. Both the view and villa were beautiful.
