This Landmark six bedroom, six and one half bath oceanfront home is located in a quiet neighborhood of fine homes in the South Forest Beach area of Hilton Head. The oceanfront lot is 1/2 half acre in size with lush landscaping and private walkway out to the ocean.
The house is approximately 5000 square in size and was built by one of the best builders in Hilton Head as his private residence in 1999.
This house will remind you of the Historic South. The magnificent dual entry stairway leads you into the main floor of the house. On this level there is a den with large screen TV and wireless Internet, and a living area with two comfortable couches and chairs and large screen TV. There is also a country kitchen with granite counters, ice maker, two ovens and two refrigerators; one with freezer and the other with beverage cooler. Additionally on this level is a dining area for eight just off from the kitchen, a laundry room with full size washer and dryer, a Florida room and a huge master bedroom. Each room is unique and tastefully decorated. The Florida room is furnished with comfortable chairs and a table for six where you can sit and enjoy great ocean views over the magnificently landscaped yard. There are also ocean views from the living room and kitchen. The master bedroom has a king bed and its own private bath with double vanity and the most amazing walk in shower you have ever seen. The master also has a huge dressing room/closet and large screen TV. You will also enjoy great ocean views from the master.
The circular stairwell leads you to the second floor where you will find four more bedrooms each with their own private bathroom and private balconies. The two bedrooms at the back of the house have magnificent ocean views from their spacious balconies. Each bedroom has a king bed and large screen TV. One of the four bedrooms also has bunk beds and a second TV. If you continue up the circular stairway you will come to the top floor where you will find comfortable outside seating in the crow’s nest. The ocean views looking out through the tops of the trees to the ocean are spectacular. It does not get any better than this.
At the back of the house (Oceanside) there is an entry to a bright airy in-law apartment, which has a living area, kitchen, private bath and the sixth bedroom, which has two queen beds. There is a large screen TV in the living area and a dining area for four. The apartment opens out through large glass doors to a deck with pool and new hot tub and the backyard beyond. The yard is magnificently landscaped with many flowering plants and shrubs and manicured lawn leading out to the ocean. The lush backyard has been pictured in several magazines and is one of the nicest in Hilton Head. The spring is the best time to come and enjoy the yard with the numerous blooming Azaleas and other flowering plants. At the back of the yard there is a wooden walkway leading out to the ocean. At the end of the walkway, just before you step on the beach, is a private sunning area with hammock and lounge chair. The beach is private and one of the nicest in Hilton Head.
The home is conveniently located near shopping and restaurants. Coliqny Plaza, which has many fine and/or casual restaurants and several unique shops, is located approximately one mile from the home. There are bike trails leading all the way to Coliqny. There is also miniature golf within biking distance.
The hot tub can be heated for an additional $150 per week. Pool heat cost is determined by the cost of propane and usage which relates to the temperature at the time of year you were vacationing. We also require an additional $500 refundable damage deposit.
