This is our fifth visit to Estrella Mountain Escape since 2004. The house is comfortable for our extended family reunions. Originally we came to the house to attend baseball spring training. Our subsequent visits have been to relax and enjoy the accommodations and swimming pool and the beautiful surroundings of this home. The outdoor living provided by the beautiful patio, the flag stone terrace, the fenced and gated pool can't be matched in other rentals we have seen. Our grandchildren are young and the security provided by the fenced pool allows the adults to relax. Hiking the mountain at the back of the house is a favorite activity. The views from the top are amazing. We also enjoyed the addition of the stores and use of the Starpointe Club facility this year. We enjoy the peace and quiet and the sounds of the birds. The owner/manager responded quickly to any issues which arose. Thanks for another excellent experience.

Great Time

We had an outstanding time. A couple of issues but Lynn looked after them the same day even though she was in Mexico on her Holiday. Great Pool/Hot-Tub Great Home with lots of room very Quite. So you will really enjoy the walks on Estrella North and South Lakes takes exactly 1 hour from the house if you do both. We stayed 1 month and really enjoyed the Golf Club at Estrella approx 1 mile from the house and make sure you get the residence rates. Most shopping is a ways away but not a real big problem we used our Garmin a lot. Thanks again Lynn we really had a great time.

My family absolutely loved our stay. We have three boys, who loved swimming in the pool and hiking up the hill behind the house. The house had everything we needed and was very homey. We had a very relaxing trip and look forward to renting the house again in the future.

Delay in returning Security deposit

This was our first time renting from VRBO. Unfortunately, it may be our last. Good comments: Very nice property, very clean, very quiet, got a little discount since it was just my husband and I and Lynn was very helpful when we accidently locked ourselves outside (she quickly called the housekeeper who came to let us in within 15 min). Bad comments: Dishwasher had 2-3 in. of water in the bottom when we arrived, Master shower would not drain....however Lynn did try to schedule service people for both but we didn't want to spend out vacation days waiting for service calls. Worst comment: Security deposit was not returned for over 42 days despite repeat requests via email. I just think if you sign an 11 page contract, you will be held accountable. I believe the owner should also honor the contract which states it will be returned within 21 days. First there was a promise that it would be to us by "the end of the month". When it did not arrive, I sent another email. This time it was "because the computers crashed and were down for 2 weeks with all of the information" HUH? sorry, don't believe it.

Owner response:We are happy our guest enjoyed our beautiful home. Despite some problems we responded very quickly and corrected any and all situations. Unfortunately they are not accurate in thier comments about the return of security deposit. Our contract states "within21 days of departure date" our guest departed on the 17th security was due on the 9th of March. Here is my record of their deposit return 3/9 check # 1515 mailed 3-29. Thier security deposit was in fact 20 days late not 42 days as stated above. Our guests need to read paragraph 6 of thier agreement. Our computer did in fact crash at this time and then Quickbooks took 3 weeks to be properly reloaded. A person that runs thier business on computer can understand this. We try but it's impossible to make "everyone" happy. We are not pleased but this was our very first somewhat negative review! But anyway, our best regards to our guests from Portland, Oregon.

We have been renting the house for 4 years and absolutely love it and it is well equipped with everything you need, Mt Estrella is beautifully decorated but comfortable we call it our home away hacienda. One of our favorite things is the private pool and hot tub and the fact we are at the base of the mountain and don't have neighbors right next door :) and also that we can walk 2 blocks to the park and get a 5 mile walk in around the the 2 lakes in the morning. It is a perfect getaway from alaska in the winter :)

We can highly recommend this luxury home for a getaway. The immaculate house, the comfortable and clean patio with its great grill and the pool with its setting with great views up the mountain took our breath away. Everything was in working order and very well appointed. The kitchen was very well equipped including a separate wine refrigerator.

We had a wonderful stay in your home. It is perched in a great location and ideal for gatherings. We had a large dinner one night in the dining room and a gathering under the patio on another night. Perfect! The house was more than comfortable for all. The community was also a pleasant surprise with a small mart and cafe nearby. Thanks again!

We rented this property for a girls/mom get-away. The house was beautiful and in excellent condition. We loved having a private pool and a jacuzzi in a private backyard. The neighborhood and the surrounding views are stunning. We had great accommodations and we would rent this property again!

wow wow wow the place was great photos do not do it justice.house was amazing lots of room pool was great bigger than some of the hotel pools that i have seen . area also great nice and quiet and relaxing .couple of shops and resteraunts close by then 10min drive to goodyear for lots of others all in all great holiday and will be back.

This is our third stay at this home, so obviously we enjoy it very much. Estrella Mountain Ranch is a very comfortable place to vacation, This home is clean, comfortable, and quiet. Your house was perfect for our golfing vacation! We loved the setting and really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. All the amenities made us feel right at home. We plan on returning soon!
