We stayed here for 5 nights at the beginning of November. The condo exceeded our expectations. We were a party of 5 including 2 kids ages 7 & 9. The condo was spacious and had more than we expected. Boogie boards, sun screen, cooler, beach chairs, beach towels, Road to Hanna touring CD, computer with internet connection, telephone, washer dryer, plenty of towels...and the location was awesome! Only a minute or 2 walk to the beautiful beach, and even closer to some delicious places to grab a bite to eat. Everyone we met was super friendly and helpful. If we HAD to be picky and make a suggestion, it would only be that the ceiling fans in the bedroom get a little more power to them. There was a night or 2 that the kids found it hard to sleep because they were too warm, even with the windows open. However, that being said, we could have turned on the A/C but we didn,t want the noise while we enjoyed our time on the lanai. If you are looking for a great place for a family vacation, this is it.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our stay in this 2 BR condo was so much more than we expected. Everything was provided, even fresh fruit on our arrival! Even with two teenagers, this place provided the kind of space we needed to make our stay comfortable. We loved how close we were to the beach. We hope to come back in the near future.

We recently stayed at the Biskis' 2 bedroom condo and could not have been happier. We are a family of 4, with 2 young children, and this was a fantastic place for all of us..it felt like home but better! First, the condo was immaculate with plenty of space and privacy. The kitchen was stalked with all kitchen essentials plus extras that made travelling so easy. The beach/sand toys were incredibly nice to have as were the dvd players in BOTH bedrooms plus the family room. The bed in the master suite was incredibly comfortable and I wished I checked to see what kind of mattress was on it so I could get the same for our bed at home! The condo complex is very well maintained as were the pool and BBQ areas. The location was prime...just a couple minute walk from the beach, restaurants and shopping. Everything about our stay was great and so much of that is because of all of these features of this condo...kudos to Steve & Lyn. Can't wait to come back again!

We recently stayed at the Biskis' two bedroom Ali'i Kai condo. This was third time that we have stayed in one of their rental units and the second time in the Ali'i Kai. Regardless of which unit one stays at, anticipate modern renovations, personal attention to detail, cleanliness, ease of booking and communication, access to the local owners during your stay (if needed), and excellent value for your $$$. Specifically, with two bedrooms and bathrooms the Ali'i Kai unit provides great and private arrangements for a family or two couples. My children are "water babies" and if they are not in the pool then it's the ocean. The unit is very close to the pool and bbq area. Beautiful Kamaole 1 beach is just a 5 minute walk away. All in all, the Ali'i Kai unit is private, quiet, fully equipped with ameneties, located in a complex that attracts pleasant and polite guests, and well situated in the heart of South Kihei. Having said that, what really sets it apart from "other" rentals we have stayed in is the personal attention and pride of Steve and Lyn. We will absolutely stay at the Ali'i Kai again.

This is our second stay here because the first was so enjoyable! Perfect for our family of four, with easy access to pool, beaches, shopping and everything else. All the amenities are provided in a spacious, well appointed condo. The Biskis family are great hosts and we look forward to staying again!

We recently stayed at this property in Kihei, and found it to be all that we had read, and more. Very comfortable, clean, easy access (ground floor), short walking distance to many of our favorite places to shop and eat, quiet, reasonable! Thank you for your attention to detail in remodeling to meet the needs of vacationing tenants! Loved the large, tiled, walk-in showers, the nice sized kitchen and living area. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

We visited Maui for the time with our extended family this August and absolutely loved it! Steve and Lyn were extremely nice and helpful, providing us with a welcome fruit basket, a stroller for our baby, a barbecue set and a lot of very useful information on local shopping and dining. Their unit is really spacious, nicely decorated, very clean with both lanais overlooking a peaceful yard. It is just a short walk to the beach and a plaza. Communication was excellent, Steve and Lyn were always reachable and ready to help. Plus, they were exceptionally kind to send our refund check for the second time, when first one was lost due to our move. We are definitely recommending them for the best vacation on Maui, especially if you have young children. We would love to come back!

Steve and Lyn's condo is the best! My 2 kids and I have stayed in Kihei for years at different properties and this was ideal. Their condo is like new with all the amenities and the location to beaches and stores is tops. The BBQ and the pool are the best ever and you can't beat their close proximity to the unit. Looking forward to a repeat stay in the near future.

Our first time ever in Maui and we were so happy to have picked this unit! Very clean and quiet. It was nice that is was set back from the main road and next to a parcel of open space. We had the pleasure of staying at your condo the end/beginning of Mar/Apr 2009. We had such a fabulous time. The condo was well situated, well kept, and fully stocked with all that we could have possibly needed to enjoy our stay on Maui. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. A quick walk around the sidewalk took you to the bbq/pool and made it easy for my husband to bbq us some wonderful dinners. A short distance to the beach made it easy to enjoy the beach during the day and was perfect for a nice quiet stroll at sunset as well. It was our first time on Maui and Steve was great about giving us a "must see" list of ideas to really enjoy our stay to it's fullest. We had the time of our lives and will always look back at our stay at our condo with happy memories. If ever we go again, you will be hearing from us. Thanks again for the wonderful fruit as well. Such a nice touch.

Lyn and Steve, you are great hosts! Your condo is immaculate and in a real convenient location. Being away from the street, we also found it very quiet. There was plenty of room in the condo for our party of four adults and four children, the kids had a great time at the pool when the weather wasn't great for the beach. Thanks again for your thoughtful hospitality, if we are ever lucky enough to get to Maui again we will make sure to stay at your condo (it will be just like coming home again!).

We stayed at Steve & Lyn's condo in Sept. & must say we were very happy with both the cleanliness of the unit & the location. Well stocked for beach activities & very quiet at night which is what we wanted. A short walk takes you to the beach, convenience stores, or to some nice local restaurants. We would not hesitate to stay there again & we are looking forward to going back next year.

We stayed at the B108 for three days after spending a week on hotel row in Kaanapali and found the true Maui experience we were looking for. The condo is immaculate, very well stocked with beach toys & everything you need for fun in the sun, and in a great location with access to the wonderful Kamaole beaches. What and incredible first time stay in Maui. Steve and Lynn have thought of everything. From Boogie boards to sandtoys. This condo was extremely clean and comfortable. Home away from home. Maui -- What can we say about Maui except for Wow! We loved the condo. It is in the perfect spot for whatever you want to do and being so close to the beach was great. Thank you for the use of the beach chairs, umbrellas etc. We'll stay with you the next time we come to Maui.

Four of us stayed in the two bedroom condo at the Ali'i Kai- unit B-108. All of us commented at one point or another about how nice the place is. Everything was as expected and more. Steve and Lyn are generous innkeepers. Two bowls of fresh fruit and local cookies were waiting for us upon our arrival. The kitchen and baths are all updated with moden appliances and fixtures. Lots of extras waiting for you- tennis rackets, plush beach towels, beach umbrella, boogie boards, coolers, etc... As I said, the owners are generous. Only thing I longed for was more parking spaces closer to the condo.

This unit was very clean and comfortable. Luxurious bathrooms and beds, convinient kichen, large living area, and computer are very impressive to our family. The owner offered complementary rice. This was very helpful. The out door pool and spa were very excellent and safe. I'll stay again in the next visit to Maui.

This was our first trip to Maui and we had a very long flight, we were immediately put at ease when we arrived at the condo. The warmth, special touches, location, and atmosphere were exactly what we were looking for. We have stayed at the Alii Kai 15 times, and this is definitely the best unit. It was exceptionally clean, and beautifully decorated. The room had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We enjoyed cooking at the BBQ and eating every meal on the large table on the lanai. We were pleased with the extras( cleaning supplies, garbage bags, laundry soap - these are not always provided in some of the other units). The beach chairs were used every day. After a long flight, we were thrilled to see our home-away from home was so welcoming - the fruit bowl was a nice touch. We have already reserved for next year.

We had an amazing holiday in Maui and a large part of it was this condo. Beautifully located and wonderfully equipped including all of the beach gear, which was in very good condition, made for a very relaxing time. We did a lot of our own cooking and found everything we needed in terms of condiments as well as a good supply of dishes, pots & pans and so forth. We would have no hesitation in recomending this property and will return ourselves when the snow gets to our knees in Calgary.

Bin and I spent our wedding night in this spacious, clean and wonderful condo (Kihei Ali'i Kai #B108 ). Bin's brother, Yu, came from Beijing, he really enjoyed his stay too. Although it is a very short visit, it was very impressive. The location is so great, right cross the beach and convinence to restaurants and stores. Besides, the owner of the place is very friendly. In all, I will highly recommand this unit to you and will definitely want to go back to stay longer in the future. :)

Thank you Biskis family for providing such an incredible "home away from home"! The minute you walk in, there is such a welcoming feeling....and the added touches like the fruit bowl, and detergent, hand soap, boogie boards, beach chairs, etc. were so nice. Every morning my husband and I would enjoy a cup of coffee outside the master bedroom reading and enjoying the beautiful weather and looking at the gorgeous flowers...We would love to come back again and stay here. We will highly recommend your condo to our friends in Northern California. Come & visit our neck of the woods....the gorgeous wine country!

We had the best vacation at this condo rental! It was even better that the picture. It was also the best condo at the complex. Close to the pool, but in a "quiet zone" and with a scenic patio. The owners were VERY accomodationg and offered for us to call if we needed anything (they are locals) but we never needed to because everything was there. Computer with Internet, movie channels, barbeque stuff, even beach towels, chairs and boogie boards. And it was in walking distance of restaraunts, shops and the beach. It was so clean and beautiful and they even had a fresh fruit basket waiting for us when we arrived. I highly recommend this rental, and we will definitely return!

Where do I begin? The condo was outstanding! Everything we could want (outside of food, of course) was already provided. The location of this unit is ideal if you want peace and quiet, the layout was wonderful and having the pc with internet access helped us plan each new adventure effortlessly. We loved "our beach", just a very short walk from the unit and we used the chairs and coolers every day. We miss our "Maui home away from home" and can't wait for our next visit. Hopefully, you won't be too booked :-)

Hi Steve and Lyn, I wanted to send you a short note to Thank you for your accomodations. Your condo is great.. VERY CLEAN. Everythig that we need was there. My brother in-law asked us how could we have fit in an ice chest on our luggage. He didn't know it was provided. My niece and nephew enjoyed boggie boarding. My dad and my brother in-law enjoyed the beach chairs. Thank you for providing those as well. We tried to leave it as clean as possible but I'm sure it's not up to your par :). I really enjoyed the kitchen.. My family loves to eat, my Mom, sister and I used the kitchen a lot! The fruits that you left were wonderful. It was my niece who finished all the passion fruit. She enjoyed them and was asking for more. We had to get some more from a fruit stand on our way back from Hana. This condo was absolutely gorgeous...every thing you could possibly need was provided. They thought of everything to make our stay so enjoyable, we will definitely return and rent from the Biskis... they are truly gracious hosts! I loved being so close to everything, but, also having so much privacy, having the condos set back provided no road noises, just the sounds of nature in a peaceful relaxing setting. Great vacation spot in paradise!!

We had a tremendous vacation, well beyond our dreams! The condo was the most excellent way. It had everything we needed and more...What a relief to walk in and find every amenity and extra available. Loved the wonderful location. I felt that each day I awoke their was nothing I needed for. It was the greatest dream come true. The Biskis were more than helpful and without them we would not have experienced Maui the way we did. E-mails were answered immediately and with most accurate info. This is a yearly trip for me now and I will make The Biskis's place home. I recommend their place to anyone. HIGHLY recommended. My daughter is terminal and this was the only thing she asked for....we have been home for one week and she can't quite talking about the experience, especially how nice the accommodations were. We very much enjoyed our stay in Kihei. The condo had a wonderful location, only a short walk to the beach . The remodel was beautiful. It was spacious enough for 4 girls to share . We only wish we had spent more time there to relax in the pool and jacuzzi. Steve and Lynn were very helpful with any questions that we had. The condo is FABULOUS. Excellent job in remodeling your unit. Little extras in unit (condiments, saran wrap, aluminum foil...) were a very nice surprise and much appreciated. The kids (ages 12 & 16)loved the TV with DVD/VCR in their bedroom,the boogie boards,and beach chairs the best. Honestly, too many pluses about this unit to mention. You will not be disappointed. Steve & Lyn were extremely helpful and very timely in answering any and all questions & concerns we had.
