Our relationship with the owner, Michael was first rate from my initial inquiring email to the second airport transfer (more on that later). I travelled to Buenos aires with my husband, 18 yo daughter and 16 yo son in June 2011 What luck did we have after deciding on an apartment owned by Michael. Not only did he answer emails immediately, even mundane ones such as where is the closest subway stop, when we booked with him, we got an entire property management team, as well. Agustina, the Concierge, arranged transfers from the airport to the apartment and back. This was so convenient because the driver was able to contact Maria to let her know that we were on our way and she was there waiting to check us in when we arrived at 8:30am. Agustina also helped us get River Plate soccer tickets and suggested day trips Back to the second airport transfer...we arrived at the Buenos aires airport to travel back home only to find it closed due to Chilean Volcanic ash. At 5:50pm on a Friday, I called Michael's office in a panic not knowing what to do. Maria Rosa calmly told me that our apartment was still available and gave me directions to their office to pick up the key. Arriving after 7:00pm, Maria Rosa was still there waiting for us to pick up the key! Now the apartment. The location was amazing. On a quiet street right at the corner of a main street. Just to the left was the subway stop and just to the right was the grocery store. The building had a 24 hour doorman. Located on the 17th floor, the views were breathtaking. The rooms were tastefully decorated. The apartment had every amenity you could image needing. Wifi!!! Very comfortable beds. Three LCD televisions. I loved that the towels were huge bath sheet sized and plentiful. All of the kitchen appliances were full sized. The rooms were really nicely sized; we never were on top of each other. I would definitely recommend renting an apartment with Michael.

Wonderful stay in Buenos Aires

Stayed at this wonderfu 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom place while vacationing in Buenos Aires. This apartment is well located in the Recoleta on the 17th floor of a modern building. Someone from the management company walked me through the apartment and showed me how to use the appliances, telephone, etc. Very informative. Kitchen is well stocked with plates, glassware etc. and bathroom had extra towels for everyone. The beds were very comfy and each room had cable tv. Nice to have after a long day of sightseeing. Since the apartment is half a block from Avenue Santa Fe, one of Buenos Aires longest and busiest streets, there is a large selection of restaurants, stores and malls to choose from. It's easy to become overwhelmed so a great benefit to staying at this place is the use of the doorman. Whenever my friends or I had a question regarding transportation, activities or restaurants we didn't hesitate to ask the friendly doorman on duty. Almost as though we had a concierge on duty! The subway line is 5 minutes away and allowed us to be anywhere in Buenos Aires in less than 30 minutes. Also an abundance of taxi cabs just outside of the apartment so transportation was never a problem. If you're hoping to find a well located, delightful place to stay while in Buenos Aires, this is the place to try! I would certainly

Small but decent apartment

This is a decent apartment in a decent inner city neighborhood, but it is not ultra luxury and it is not in Recelota. And it cannot comfortably accommodate 4 adults - the sofa in the living room only seats two. There is a desk in name but not in function - the two phones (a very nice feature), the modem box and a light occupy almost the entire space. The bathrooms are minute and the rain showers sound great except the water was rarely hot and there was no pressure. The beds were very comfortable, but the bedrooms are so small that there's just enough room to walk around them and that's it. On the other hand, all the staff I dealt with at ApartmentsBA were great, and their professional ethics were confirmed yet again when my security deposit was waiting for me in my Paypal account when I arrived back in New York. Net, net a decent apartment that is a bit oversold.

"Awesome Place!" "From the check in to the check out, everybody was helpful and professional. Augustina was great at lining up reservations or helping with planning. The apartment was located right on Santa Fe one of the more popular streets, easy walking distance to Recoleta. The wifi and phone that allowed you to call the us for no charge was a nice touch. The apartment was clean, well decorated and did have a great view. I would highly recommend this as an alternative to a stuffy hotel room."

Our family had the good fortune to have a home exchange for 2 weeks in this apartment. Our son and his girlfriend stayed there the first week, and we joined them for the second. We all really enjoyed ourselves. ApartmentsBA personnel were considerate and eager to please. They arranged for a pick up at the airport for us. When our air conditioner needed repair, they sent workmen over the same day to fix it. When we accidentally broke a glass shade on a bed lamp, they replaced it immediately without charge. The location in the Recoleta neighborhood felt safe and secure with a 24 hour guard in the lobby. It was also convenient to the subway. We would certainly recommend this apartment and this company without hesitation.

I personally like staying at nice places such as the Hilton or Sheraton and this apartment compares to those. Booking this apartment was easy and nice people to work with. The apartment was nicely decorated with modern style. Beds were comfortable and plenty of storage space with nice flat screen TV's. Plenty of towels but no wash clothes (normal for area) toothbrush holder and soap dispenser (need to bring liquid soap) they supplied bar soap and toilet paper. Living room, dining area and kitchen was open and spacious (very modern). Different temperature controls for each room also. Having the phones was a nice feature too. The person we meet to check us in was very helpful and there is a manual book in the kitchen to help with many questions in reference to the apartment and the area. There is a doorman in the building also...he must let you in or use your key. Fruit stand right across the street and a salon on one side of the building and a coffee shop on the other.

I stayed for few days in December over New Years Day with a total of 4 people in my group. Everything went perfect. The apartment is comfortable, well decorated and has the most perfect view of Buenos Aires. We decided instead of going on for NYE we would stay in, pull up all the shades and watch the fireworks from the living room - what a perfect way to start the new year - we felt like we were in the middle of everything with various fireworks going off all over the city skyline for over an hour. Can't say enough about the helpfulness of the staff. They made dinner & lunch reservations for us as requested and were there as scheduled promptly for check in & check out. All amenities were great, extra towels and room safes in each room. Highly recommend!

Having seen and rented many short-term apartments, you're always taking a bit of a gamble if you haven't inspected one before you arrive. It's somewhat like going out on a blind date - will you fall in love? This apartment doesn't disappoint. Even though it's not huge, (according to US Standards) the owner designed a two-bedroom apartment that really works. The living room/dining room is bright and comfortable. The kitchen is small but extremely well-equipped. The bedrooms have their own air-conditioning units and the bathrooms have been totally redone. The Ecuador/Arenales apartment was renovated with excellent taste and the owner cares whether or not the guests are comfortable. There''s an English-speaking concierge on call seven days a week plus an Emergency number in the event you need one that you can call from the cell phone that comes with the apartment rental. If you're B.A. bound, do consider staying here.

Service was great. Apartment was exactly as advertised. Check in agent was on time and they allowed me to stay late for my flight. Any time I needed something I called their office. Very organized company and great property. I'm staying again here next year. Looks like the secret is out on this property.

This was our second stay with ApartmentsBA this year. We rented another beautiful property with them in July that also had a great view. The apartment was perfect for our week stay. The area was very convenient with everything we needed within a 5 minute walk. The apartment had a splendid view of the city and we loved that it was silent with no noise. The bathrooms were very nice and the place was spotless. The agents that checked us in and out of the property were on time and very polite. Everyone we have dealt with at ApartmentsBA was professional. We also appreciated they waived the damage deposit as we rented with them earlier this year. That was a nice touch. We would recommend this property to anyone and might stay in it again although there are so many beautiful properties to choose from.

The apartment was in an amazing location with an amazing view from the 17th floor. Close to all the action this beautiful city has to offer. Able to walk to multiple areas of the city, and felt safe the entire time!

First of all, ApartmentsBA is a wonderful firm to deal with. They are very good at all they do from deciding which property to rent to the check out. The people working there really care about you and want you to be happy. Can't say that about many places these days! This particular apartment is nearly at the top of a very tall building which gives it incredible views of the city. It was nice to share a bottle of wine with some friends there and have them point out all the sites from the living room! Sunsets were especially amazing. Although that is a great feature of this apartment, it also has a great location, just off of Santa Fe pretty much central to everything. A short walk will take you most anywhere, although cabs are quite inexpensive here. The interior was very well decorated and looked very new. The bedrooms were very comfortable, each having it's own temperature control. The beds were both very comfortable and I slept like a baby because it's also very quiet. You are given a LOT of nice, thick towels for the baths (but bring you're own wash cloth, if you use them. Seems like only the US uses these I guess). Having two bedrooms and two baths clearly makes this great for a family or two couples traveling together. Each bedroom has a nice LCD TV, huge closet and it's own bath. But the apartment would also be suitable for a romantic getaway for a couple who just likes the extra room. With the view and the decor I think honeymooner's would really enjoy this unit! Everything worked perfectly inside the unit and I was especially pleased to be able to do laundry in the unit since it has a washer/dryer. But having laundry done in this city is so inexpensive and with pick up and delivery it may not be worth your time. Also, the unit is very secure, very clean and quiet and the doorman was especially nice! I would definitely rent this unit again when I go back to BA and I whole-heatedly recommend it to anyone!

I stayed in this apartment in September 2008 for 9 nights and had a fabulous vacation. The property had everything I needed and was furnished perfectly with everything thought out. TVs in both bedrooms and the living room. The location was perfect and I can't imagine a better stay. The staff was very kind and showed up on time for the check in and check out. I can strongly recommend this property.

My friend Hans and I were traveling throughout South America. Buenos Aires was our last stop before coming home. We originally booked another property but the building had a problem with the electricity and they couldn't fix it quickly. We were really disappointed but then surprised how apartmentsba helped us. They immediately moved us out of the apartment we had rented and moved us into this beautiful apartment even considering it was much much more expensive than the one we paid for. We were so impressed how the company handled the situation. Very professional. Since we were on a long trip we had to budget and mostly stayed in less expensive accomodations throughout our trip. This apartment was wonderful! It was nicer than my apartment back home! The apartment was great; everything worked and the employees at apartmentsba were helpful.

We can't THANK YOU enough for the professional service we received from booking our stay with you, the airport transfers ALL the way to the gatekeeper always having a smile no matter what time we came in/out. I can't think of anything the apartment didn't have it had it ALL from decoration, wireless internet, phones, flat TV's, I-Pod Speakers and it couldn't have been in a BETTER LOCATION we had everything close by. Perfect vacation staying in this rental apartment last month. The staff was friendly and good with emails. Payment was easy with bankwire. The apartment was very modern and bathrooms were upscale. A very cozy apartment. It was especially nice having a washer and dryer in the apartment. The kitchen was a little on the small side but we never cooked so was perfect for us. View was incredible. The apartment was very quiet. Doorman was always friendly. We would stay here again.

After staying in other properties with a different style we chose this one as a change . The apartment decoration and setup has been done with an exquisite taste . Marble baths, a living dining area that is perfect for entretaining a small group of people and all the comforts that we have back home and not easily found in all properties . Washer and dryer is value added confort for the tourist. We had several friends and everyone had great compliments for the nightime View of the city . You can see the River from Far away and tha lights create an ambiance that made us enjoy sitting and spending time in the living room. In summary " We would go back anytime to that property " it is an A-1.

My wife and I stayed at this amazing apartment in June 2009 and we loved it. We always look for something that feels like home rather than just a hotel room. This apartment was perfect. The location is prime, it's just off Santa Fe avenue, loads of restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment is on the 16th floor with great views of the city. Everything works, all the kitchen appliances are new, extensive and modern, The bed was super comfortable, the unit was perfectly clean and appointed. We do not hesitate recommending this unit, we hope it will be available for our next visit!

The condo we rented was wonderful. It had all the modern things that made our stay relaxing. The location was great, within walking distance of shopping and eateries. Both bedrooms and bathrooms were great with flat screen TV's. Highly recommend this condo! Couldn't find one thing about it that we didn't like.

This is a great alterative to a hotel room or two hotel rooms (if you are traveling with your children like we were). We found this property from VRBO and loved it. We never rented an apartment before but it was such a great experience we did it again when we went to Paris over the holidays. Its great! Communication was excellent always getting a response quickly from ApartmentsBA.com It was perfect for us. We had our 13 year old daughter with us and the apartment was perfect as she had her own bathroom and bedroom. Her bedroom and ours both had a TV in it. View was wonderful! We paid a deposit to book it with bankwire and paid the balance at the check-in with the security deposit. Our security deposit was returned by the nice employee at the check out. Great experience.

We (family of 4, with two young children) spent a total of 10 days at this apartment and loved it. The apartment is well situated, in a great neighborhood, close to the subway and very close to all the necessities, such as grocery store, etc. All the taxi drivers knew the location as well. The apartment itself is compact and well designed. Having two bathrooms was a luxury, linens were deluxe, and everything was updated. High enough up to get great sunlight and be a further from the noise of the streets. The customer service was amazing. The staff met us on arrival and departure and were flexible to our needs. They were fluent in english and quickly responded to emails. They arranged airport transportation for us and had a concierge service that was excellent. I would recommmend this apt to anyone staying in Buenos Aires. One point, it is listed in Recoleta, though the area is known locally as Barrio Norte, which is the border of Recoleta and Palermo. Check a map to make sure it is where you want to be.

My husband and I stayed in this property last year while we visited Argentina. Argentina is an amazing country and the people were so kind to us. Neither of us speak Spanish but we didnt have problems getting around. My experience with Apartmentsba was terrific. From our initial email to reserve to the check out. Everything went smoothly and the apartment was as advertised. Everything was spelled out clearly in their emails. We paid our down payment with our paypal account and they sent us a confirmation very quickly. Pablo did our check in and he was great and explained how to use everything. There was also a guide book in the apartment that explained everything which was very helpful. Everything was very comfortable and we enjoyed the extra space instead of a hotel room. We loved the area! We loved walking around and discovering different cafes and restaurants in the area. Our favorite was Oviedo which was only 2 blocks away. The staff there was great and the food was so yummy! At the checkout Pablo was on time and we did a quick inventory check and he promised that our security deposit that we paid with paypal would be refunded and sure enough when we arrived back home the next day it was already refunded. We would recommend Apartmentsba to anyone coming to Buenos Aires. The staff was so friendly and staying in an apartment was such a great idea. We liked the city so much we are planning to go back later this year and we are returning to this property.
