I think the fact that there are already so many 5 star reviews (all but one, which was 4 stars) says quite a bit about this place. We enjoyed our stay very much and did not find ourselves wanting for anything. There is plenty of room for everything and more than ample seating / beds. Tour the island, walk the beach, light a fire, prepare a feast or read a book in the moonlight on the deck... you can do it all. And, that's just day one.

Our family vacation was great! This house was very clean and has everything you need for cooking and relaxing. We enjoyed the bay for kayaking and watching the birds when the tide went out. Very peaceful, you can sit on the deck and read a book and watch the world pass by. You won't be disappointed.

My wife and I spent a week here in July 2011 and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the house and the area. The house was very well maintained and had everything we needed. The views of the water and wildlife from the deck and from inside the front of the house were excellent. I'm glad I brought my binoculars to watch the eagles. We also enjoyed the small shops and restaurants on the island and in nearby Stanwood. It was such a relaxing trip that my wife did not want to go back home.

Beach Living at it's Best

My husband, daughters & I spent 6 nights in July at Suzanne's lovely beach house. The beach & wildlife was incredible. We roasted marsh mellows every night at the beautiful fire pit area after a beach walk. My husband & daughter skim boarded every day when the tides were out - lots of fun! Careful consideration was taken by Suzanne when stocking the house for guests with lovely & useful items. The house was set up very handily for a dog or children. We would definitely stay at Suzanne's again!

Our weekend stay at his location was everything we'd hoped for. It was our first "Saltwater" Experience with our Kayaks. The late June weather was ify to start put soon brokeway to Sunshine and calm winds. We rode the Tide into Triangle Cove, and watched the Eagles, Paddled around and had an easy paddle out. The home was very comfortable, especially with Quadra Fire Woodstove! That thing was amazing! Plenty of wood to burn (though after a while you had to let it burn out it was so warm. Had a Beachside fire in the Fire pit which enhanced the whole experience! Great time.

The 4 of us "girls" have been getting together for many, many years for a wekend away (since 1983!!!). Our friend, "Suzanne" found your house for us this year. Wonderfully convenient to Seattle, equipped with everything for cooking, a big table, a great view of the water, a Lazy Boy lounger chair for watching the Huskies win over USC!!!, and gorgeous sunshine for sitting outside and reading. We couldn't have asked for more! A lovely place--thanks so much.

The pictures on my personal camera are identical to the online photos, the color palette inside the house masterfully contributes to the ambiance of its location, and the neighbors treated us like regular visitors. Everything was clean and in perfect working order. The kitchen is well stocked and the outdoor areas are furnished to comfortably entertain a sizable group of people. Not only did I thoroughly enjoy my stay but I'll recommend this property to friends and most notably give an A+ to the owner.

4th of July weekend-2010

Spent a long weekend at this beach house over 4th of July with 7 gal pals. We had a great time. It's a friendly little community and we thoroughly enjoyed their 4th of July parade and the evening fireworks displays all around the bay. Some of the ladies very much enjoyed beach combing. The beach house is great... everything we needed and more. It was a chilly weekend and we appreciated having a nice warm fire in the wood stove several nights. Several of the ladies took advantage of the WiFi, and we used the DVD player to watch a movie one night. Highly recommend this great little beach house.. a perfect getaway! We found the house to be well-maintained, clean and well-equipped. The owner stopped by for a brief visit one afternoon and suggested activities in the area that we might find interesting and fun. There are lots of attractions in the area... my ladies enjoyed an outing to La Conner for shopping and lunch... so much so that we went back a 2nd time. Premier Outlet mall is not too far away, as well as Tulalip Casino and we took advantage of both of those.

Family Week End

This property exceeds the description and the condition provided. We spent 4 nights over Memorial Day week end with our family and had a fabulous time in spite of continual rain. My son brought his trailer and parked it across the street beside the outdoor firepit & beach front patio area. We have relatives on the Island so had a big dinner for 12 on Saturday night. I love to cook and this house has everything you could possibly ever want to entertain in the most lavish style. On top of that everything is so attractive it is a pleasure and a wonderful surprise to find all kinds of serving pieces that allow you to make an elegant presentation., All the furnishings are first class and the beds are sooo comfy. The view is terrific.The fact that there is a street in front makes absoloutely no difference since it is only traveled by people living on the street in this private community. We felt like we had found a home away from home. Suzanne is the ultimate hostess and takes great pride in taking care of your every need. We have booked a week in Spring 2011 and hope to return before that time. You won't be disappointed in this property.

Great view & relaxing

Very easy to find, well equipped and superb views. There are two nice parks for walking, Cama and Camano State Park. We had a great time cooking our favorite meals and watching the tides change and birds hunt for food. We enjoyed a great wind storm that blew for a few days.

My family stayed there for a family funeral on the Island. The owner was extremely patient with us as we split the payment between 2 families and she had to deal with 2 families in different time zones to make last minute arangements. We had all the relatives over one night for a barbeque and fire by the beach s'mores. It was a beautiful evening and at the end of the evening all the relatives commented on how nice it was to have this respite time by the beach; how nice it was to have us on the island; and how comfortable the house is. Fully furnished kitchen doesn't begin to describe what is there to make cooking a dream. Beds were comfortable. We had a newly mobile baby with us and the house was baby proof, complete with a couple of baby gates. Hope we don't need to use it again for this purpose but if the need arises (lots of family in the area), we pray that the owner will make room for us like she did this time. God bless her.

Well there were very few words I could think of to describe our stay at the beach house! Wow was the only one that stuck out the most! We couldn't believe how every little detail was covered. When the guys asked if we needed (propane/charcoal, plates, napkins, utensils, etc.) and I told them no, they had a hard time believing me. Once we actually got there and saw that we had all that and then some, we were blown away! It was definitely worth every penny and my friends absolutely had a great time on Camano Island. My friends were appreciative of everything and are already talking about coming up in the summer to fully enjoy all the water activities available! That to me says a lot, as my friends aren't easily impressed! We never did get fishing poles, but we didn't need them as there was plenty of activities to do around the island. Thank you again for such generous hospitality, I would love to rent the beach house again in the very near future with my wife and kids!

What a great time we all had. Here it is Feb and we had Breakfast and Lunch on the deck over looking the water, just wonderful. It was my birthday and the kitchen and dining room was well appointed with the best. There isn't any thing that wasn't supplied. You have to spend time at this house, just lovely with a great view also. Oh, don't forget to listen for the ducks outside of the master bedroom in the early morning. We enjoyed every moment there.

Suzanne, we really enjoyed our stay at your beach house on Camano Island. We had a great time and had everything we needed for a fun, comfortable week. The view & accommodations were fabulous! I wish we could have spent more time just hanging out, but 3 of the 4 of us had never been to the Seattle area before, so we tried to see as much as we could in the short time we had. Five of us girlfriends from Vancouver stayed at this lovely beach house. The location was perfect, easy to find and was nice and quiet. We loved the view of the ocean from the large deck. The place was roomy and well laid out. The two bathrooms for five women were a bonus. We marvelled at how well-stocked the place was, so many great dishes, platters, glasses, appliances. A dream to prepare meals. Thanks Suzanne for this great little gem.

Had a wonderful time on Camano. This property was clean and one of the best appointed rentals I have ever stayed in. There was nothing that we wished we had and wasn't there. Just relaxing on the deck, viewing the spectacular water view, seeing the resident eagles soar and search for food, walking the beach and stroll down the quaint quiet road, Bar-B-Q'ed dinners on the deck with fresh Alaskan salmon just flown in and purchased at Brindle's, getting a restful night's sleep in the luxurious comfortable King bed, and exploring the Island were just what we needed. With fabric, thread, and machines in tow. We arrived at this beach house ready to sew. The theme for the weekend: "Away from It All". No phones, no husbands, no trips to the mall. Hello Suzanne-long overdue contact thanking you for providing us a most wonderful, peaceful and enchanted place to stay while we attempted to absorb a death in the family. We brought our 4 year old lab Mugsy who befriended ALL of the neighborhood dogs and frolicked with them on the beach chasing sticks. The house was so welcoming, and we felt like we were in the home of a family member. You left NOTHING to be desired, providing everything we could possibly need while there. Even flour! We somehow managed to be there on the coldest, rainiest and windiest few days in July in 50 years, but we were enveloped with warmth and comfort. Watcing the world go by, no matter the weather, provided us with an unforgettable experience. We plan to come again soon! Thank you.

As the week we spent in your house on Camano Island came to an end, everyone in our family was thinking the same thought: when can we come back? The house has everything we could possibly want in a vacation getaway. It's located on a lovely and interesting beach with a beautiful view (it was thrilling to spot Mt. Rainier on the clear days). Our girls loved exploring the tide flats at low tide and swimming when the tide came in. They also had fun watching the bald eagles hunting over the tide flats at low tide and swimming when the tide came in. They also had fun watching the balk eagles hunting over the tide flats and in the fields north of the house. We all appreciated how cozy and comfortable your house is. I can see how it would make a wonderful getaway any time of year (I picture curling up with a good book next to the wood stove during the winter months). We also very much appreciated having conveniences such as a dishwasher and washer & dryer. Finally, the location, within a few minutes of Camano Plaza, was an added bonus. Your home is a real treasure. Thank you for making it available to us.

This well-stocked and immaculately-kept beachfront home exceeded our expectations in every way. We were looking for a quiet and comfortable getaway for a four-day weekend, and this home delivered it. Mornings we would watch the sun come up and paint the scene out the front windows over the water - always beautiful and different, whatever the weather (ususally nice). The dining room, with its warm teak furniture encouraged us to linger with morning coffee and breakfast to read, talk and enjoy the beautiful view. We weren't ready for the kitchen: everything we could want or need was there, nicely laid out (with photos on the inside of cupboard doors to show you quickly what was inside, and where to return it when you were done with it). After a day or so, it felt comfortable and easy to work in. We ate very well during our stay! (If you're coming to stay here, be sure to stop for groceries on your way in at the incredibly well-stocked Camano Market just a couple of miles up the road - if they moved the store to Redmond, we'd shop there regularly!) Out and about during the day - lots to see and do hereabouts. We enjoyed the State Park, among other things. Evenings we enjoyed the living room with its individual-dimmer-controlled lights - very romantic. The teak dining table, with the crystal chandelier over it, glowed. We watched the sun go down, then watched a couple of DVD movies we brought with us, or quietly read (we're quiet people). We brought our Standard Poodle, Archy, along with us. After a quick inspection of the house, he found the warm, sunny spots in the living room and curled up to enjoy them. The back yard was nicely fenced, so he was able to go outside without bothering anyone nearby. We came away with a great sense of peace and renewal. The relative isolation of this private community with its slow pace and friendly faces was a world away from Redmond - although close enough that we didn't have to spend a long time driving just to get there. Inside this lovely home the illusion of being on a remote island was nearly complete and wonderful. Stepping out the door brought the cool, clean smell from the water - paradise enough! We recommend this beachfront dream highly! We plan to return - it fit us just right, and the owner was a pleasure to deal with.

This home is AMAZING! With the beach just footsteps away and huge windows facing the water, the view is GREAT! The pictures shown are just like the home when you walk in and it's very roomy.
