We stayed here with our dogs over Memorial Day weekend. The location is really incredible and literally is right next to the Yampa River. We relaxed next to the sounds of the river sitting in chairs underneath a tree in the backyard providing nice shade. What a wonderful setting! We liked the unit very much as well and we were thankful to find such a nice place that is also dog friendly too! The unit was very clean and has lots of character. Relative to downtown, the location is just a short walk over the river to reach everything downtown Steamboat has to offer. We had nice fresh flowers waiting in the room for us when we arrived...a very nice and thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. You won't be disappointed at all - great place!Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

We stayed in this great studio apartment for a weekend of snowboarding at Steamboat. It's about 2 minutes off the main drag downtown, and 5 minutes from the free parking lot at Steamboat. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom is nice, and there's a lot of space. We would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, age 55+.

Loved the well appointed spotlessly clean and cozy studio. It was a perfect base for enjoying the fall foliage splendour of Routt County. I don't know who enjoyed it more the dogs or myself!!! The back garden was a perfect retreat after a hard day in the mountains. Thank you so much for your hospitality. Jayne Wrigley and QuincyRecommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers.

My girls and I had a wonderful stay in the steamboat studio. The studio was perfect for us. It was very well-maintained and had terrific charm. The beds were very comfortable and the studio was extremely clean. The fenced in yard was an added bonus for our dog, who also loved the stay! The location of the studio was perfect. We were right on the river, had a small flagstone patio and grill to enjoy our time outside, and a hammock to laze in. We were also steps away from the bike path, could walk into town and howelson hill, and had a small park with a playground across the street. Jenny and Mel were incredibly gracious and friendly hosts and made our stay in steamboat a terrific one. They went out of their way to suggest great places for us to visit, and even went so far as to bike with our family to a local concert at Howelson Hill! I have already recommended this place to several friends, and my only hesitation for writing this review was my fear that the secret would be out of how great a place this was to stay at! We can't wait to return, and look forward to visiting with our entire family soon!Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

This clean, sunny, and beautiful studio is located right on the river. There was a large back yard for our dogs to play in. I am sure had it had been warmer, I would not have been able to get my 'swimmer' dog out of the river! This location is perfect, I couldn't be happier with our choice. It is right on the river walk, and just a few minutes walking distance to all the restaurants and bars and other things that old town has to offer. Mel and Jen are wonderful hosts. My husband and I were very happy we chose this as our place for a weekend getaway. Thank you for sharing your home with us.Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, people with disabilities, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

This is a fabulous space. The studio is open, with lots of light, and has beautiful finishes with a western flair. There's a private patio, and beautifully-maintained yard that backs to the Yampa River (surrounded by a fence with 2 gates). There are countless trail practically across the street, and it takes 5 minutes to walk to the heart of downtown Steamboat. We used the free WiFi access every day. It's quiet and clean and very comfortable. My husband, dog, and I had a wonderful week here. Thank you.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1
