"ABIGAIL'S BEACH HOUSE" is a gorgeous large Victorian Cape Cod style waterfront retreat home. The home sits on the BEST private walking beach on all of Orcas Island! This waterfront home is located in the popular resort islands of the San Juans of Washington State, and is on the gem of these islands, called Orcas Island. Built in 1997, this exquisite home has one and a half acres of perennial gardens, plus a boardwalk over protected wetlands where you will view many birds, otters, bald eagles, and even whales!
All together, there are 5 PRIVATE BEDROOMS and 2 of these rooms have extra beds in them. There is even a 6th BEDROOM with private entrance, we call the BEACH LOFT at Abigails. This LOFT space has 1 queen bed,2 singles, small kitchenette & private bathroom.
For the Main 5 BEDROOM BEACH HOUSE there are 3 upstairs bedrooms, 2 with dramatic water views of inner passage islands and the Canadian mountains beyond.
The MASTER SUITE has a king bed plus an additional double bed in a private alcove, a wine refrigerator, outdoor balcony overlooking water, and a Victorian bathroom with claw foot tub, and more dramatic water views.
TWO UPSTAIRS BEDROOMS share a big bathroom with waterviews. One room has a queen and a double bed, the other has a double bed and is a small room, but has a terrific water view.
The FIRST LEVEL of the home has TWO MORE BEDROOMS. This walk-in level to the home is very special with a large gourmet kitchen that opens up to a comfortable family room with dining tables & more water views. Plus, French doors open to a large outdoor deck overlooking the incredible beach and decorated with many more chairs and tables for all your party to sit back, relax, eat, socialize.
On the deck is a gas grill and many outdoor tables and chairs for summer dining.
Abigail's Beach House can be rented as a 5 BEDROOM HOME or a 6 BEDROOM HOME if you also take the additional LOFTspace.
NOTE: You may also choose to rent ONLY 2-4 bedrooms of the main family home, still including the large gourmet kitchen and family room combined. Reduced rates available for an abbreviated portion of this home. You may rent a reduced portion of thIs lovely beach home even in the summer. Ask us if we can accommodate you on the prime dates you need.
During the OFF SEASON, October 1 - May 31, we are MOST HAPPY to rent just 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms to one family. We will describe in detail your choices of bedrooms to rent that are best for your unique smaller group or if you are just a couple or 2 couples or a couple and child, etc.
Also, for just a couple or 2-3 people, consider renting our charming one room loft with 1 queen bed, 2 singles, kitchenette (no stove) and 1 private bathroom. Wifi and DVD included. Entrance for the Loft space is completely separate and private from the main beach home. Off season rates greatly reduced. Please contact us for your special discount in the slow months of the year.
