Visit the North Shore... See world famous Hookipa and the best surfers and windsurfers around. Snorkel on the west and south sides of the island. Drive to the top of Haleakala and enjoy a breathtaking sunrise or a romantic sunset. Take another day and drive the road to Hana. Just remember your swimsuit to experience the refreshing pools created by the awesome waterfalls.

We have been to Maui every year at least once a year since 1989, and our stay was most enjoyable, amongst the best over the years. The BBQ is always a must, large lanai was a bonus, and we enjoyed our daily early morning walk on the golf. We live on acres in California, therefore enjoyed the open space of the golf course==We loved the evening cooling and lots of windows to let the trade winds in==we were able to entertain our friends and family on a number of occasions and it was qute well equipped, we all have different needs, and therefore it is difficult to have all the comforts of home. We would have loved to be able to vacuum the house before leaving==could not find on==sorry ab out that. I would highly recommend, and hope to return next year.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Our family of 3 stayed at Maui Sweet Maui over New Year’s while visiting relatives. We found the rental exactly as advertised and spotlessly clean. Because our flight from Oahu arrived early in the day, Kristin graciously let us drop off our luggage and grab some beach chairs and towels to head to the beach while the unit was being cleaned. Accommodations were quite spacious with large bedrooms and a large kitchen and full sized washer and dryer. It is the other half of the owner’s house in a neighborhood with lots of families and kids. We thought at first this might be a noise issue, however even with it being New Year’s, it was very quiet and peaceful. It is right on the golf course and a short drive up the hill to a mini mall with a Foodland, KFC, Chinese restaurant and Ace Hardware. The climate is wonderful up on the side of the mountain and we enjoyed the cool breezes every night. We also loved the view where we saw the sunset from the beautiful deck (with Tiki torches!) while using the high powered barbeque. We could see both the North and South shores at once. Drive to the North Shore beaches was easy and new, huge beach towels are provided along with beach chairs – the good kind that recline! Owners Kristin and Doug were very helpful and accommodating. Their kids were sweet, quiet and well behaved. We would go back in a minute.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.

We have stayed here several years now and they keep making it better. I enjoy playing golf at Pukalani Country Club and it is just a short drive to the clubhouse. I would recommend this place to anyone and plan on returning next year.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers.

We enjoyed our time at this restful spot in Pukalani. It was just what we wanted. Clean, quiet with all the comforts of home. Great view to the northwest and southwest. Perfect spot for us as we wanted to play golf at the Pukalani Country Club and be close to the National Park. We look forward to returning next year.Recommended for: Age 55+.
