This spacious, three-level home features lots of hardwoods and tile, two fireplaces, a fully-furnished kitchen, master on main with large bathroom featuring a large walk-in shower and jacuzzi tub, laundry room, a recreation room with an air hockey table, a large deck with screened-in porch, and a terrace-level patio.
Stay in shape on vacation in our exercise room using an elliptical trainer, recumbent exercise bike, and a BOWFLEX machine - all while watching TV or your favorite DVD.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed; the upstairs bedroom features a queen-size bed; and the sleeping loft has a day bed with trundle. These rooms all have a gorgeous view of the lake. The bunk room has two sets of bunk beds. There is a pull-out queen sofa in the recreation room. There is an overflow bedroom without bath over the garage with a queen bed and a great view of the lake.
Enjoy our dock and party deck - located on the Chestatee River in deep water on a quiet part of the lake. Gazebo awning on the party deck and lots of furniture. Bring your own boat, or rent one nearby, and enjoy water skiing, wakeboarding, or tubing! There is a public boat ramp one-half mile from the house, and a marina with fuel just minutes away.
Just a few miles away are restaurants, grocery stores, and outlet mall shopping. Also nearby are golf, hiking, biking, the historic town of Dahlonega, scenic mountain drives, Amicalola Falls, white-water rafting, and horseback riding.

My family enjoyed our time at this property immensely. At one time or another all 9 of our children, their spouses and our grandchildren were with us here and we never felt cramped. We had a wonderful time. Everything we could have possibly needed had been anticipated. The lake was wonderful and the "party deck" was a blast! Everyone took a turn jumping from the top and we floated and sunbathed every day! Thanks again, for a great memory. We look forward to coming again!

We were looking for a home away from home to spend a relaxing weekend with our large family. This house was perfect. The bunk room was great for the kids and there were plenty enough rooms and beds for the rest of us. Having the boat dock was perfect and allowed us to fish and do watersports any time we liked. The owners were a pleasure to work with and I have recommended this property to some of my friends already. Next time we will book the entire week since our only regret was that Monday came too soon...

My family recently rented this home in June 2011. The home was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and roomy. We had a total of 8 guests and had no issue with feeling too crowded. The layout was also perfect for us as we had two pre-teen girls upstairs in one queen bed and four teenage boys downstairs in the double bunk bed room. Plus, with the master king bedroom in between we could easily keep tabs on everyone. The kids had a wonderful experience jumping off the two-story dock house, floating in the lake, playing air hockey, and recouperating in the hot tub. My wife and I greatly enjoyed the beautiful trees, lighted pathway to the lake, and the large screened-in porch for our morning "quiet" time before the kids awoke. With the house so conveniently located to the Georgia outlet stores, grocery stores, and restuarants we could have easily made daily trips for shopping and eating, if needed. The owner was extremely helpful in answering our many questions and proactive in making sure everything was ready for our trip. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this home to other families with kids.
