This listing covers 2 similiar houses as they are the same basic size,floorplan,and beach location. Descriptions are immediately below and additional details are further below. "NORTH SHORE", is the Bridgeview dr.house and is the
off white/blue roof one.

"HANG TEN", is the Island shores dr.house and is the
Cream/white roof one.

Please note: A protective "berm"(dune)along the gulf beach has been constructed. The town has put up nearby walkovers,so you will have close gulf beach access.No disc or cancellations will be given for any issues relating to the berm.

House is waterfront on sandy north beach of the Mississippi Sound. Island is only a few hundred yards wide at the west end & is surrounded by an actual sand beach on both sides(gulf on south side & sound on north).Enjoy the best of both worlds. Backyard/beach is also private on this side of island.just a few minutes walk to gulf beach w/deeded access.

A lot of people prefer this side of the island w/its white sand beach, clear, calm, & shallow water;it is ideal for swimming or lounging on a raft.Great beach for young children w/o the worries of large waves or currents.You could also,at your discretion,set up your umbrella & chairs and not be required to haul inside every night(this beach is your private property).You could also beach a small boat or waverunner in your back yard!

Dauphin Island is very laid back & non-commercialized, but has shops, a grocery store, bakery,& several restaurants ranging from pizza, ice cream and burgers, to great seafood and steaks. ISLAND IS EASILY ACCESSIBLE BY BRIDGE. Gulf Shores/Fort Morgan is only a few miles away & is accessible by auto ferry (makes a great day trip).

For attractions, visit the Sea Lab, historic Fort Gaines, play a round of golf at the Isle Dauphine gulf-front course, view birds and wildlife & explore secluded beaches at the Audubon Sanctuary, fish on the beach or at the long gulf-front fishing pier, charter a boat for sightseeing or deep-sea fishing, swim, bike, walk, collect shells, or JUST PLAIN RELAX!
