Did you leave the county road, performs a cypress-lined dirt road (500 m) to the house. The once modest farmhouse dates from the early 1900's. At first the only character from the tower, which had been specially built to to spot approaching strangers. Over time, the extensions were added. The property is surrounded by rolling hills covered with olive groves, vineyards, sunflower fields and forests - the gentle Tuscan hills, as you may know them from pictures. A large and beautifully kept lawn surrounded the pool. After returning from day trips you will want to enjoy the beautiful countryside views and the quiet country life. The offered apartment can accommodate 4-5 persons: 1 living room with dining area and kitchen (dishwasher), 2 double rooms (which can be converted into a twin), 2 bathrooms and an outdoor seating to enjoy an outdoor meal.
There is an outdoor area to enjoy an outdoor meal. The outdoor area is directly in front of the apartment. If you prefer to dine out, you will find in the immediate environment, a variety of excellent restaurants and trattorias. The nearest restaurant is located 1 km from the house, another is 2 km away. A list of good tips in English can be found in your home.
The bedrooms can be arranged as a twin or double room. (Please specify when booking how you prepared the bed planning wish). The apartment is equipped with satellite TV, dishwasher and a small wall safe, has a hairdryer in the bathroom, floor and ceiling fans in the bedrooms and screens on the windows. There is a laundry room, a barbecue area, the access road is provided privately and with automatic entrance gate, the parking lot has a shade umbrella.
Casale Elsa is an ideal base to explore Tuscany - Located in the heart of Chianti, you can reach the main attractions of the region quickly and easily. You get to Florence and Siena even without a car as the train station of Certaldo is just 4 km away - no traffic bustle in the turbulent city, no fuss with finding a parking space ... You can park your car in Certaldo (free parking is available behind the train station) and take the train line Florence-Siena either north (direct train to Florence or changing at Empoli) or south (Siena). During the week, the trains run at intervals of about 1.5-2 hours. The train ride takes about a half hour. In Florence, the train stops at the station, which is right in the city - from the train station Santa Maria Novella "to the cathedral, it is just a short walk. In Siena the station about 3 km from the center - from there take the bus to reach the center.
