Surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, Fripp Island is the South's best-kept secret, and North Hampton is Fripp's best location situated just 50 feet from the ocean! The complex enjoys a private pool by the ocean and views of Ocean Point's 18th green from the front door. Located only 15 nautical miles north of Hilton Head, Fripp is a secluded private island, three and a half miles long, designated as a nature preserve. Our smoke-free one bedroom third floor villa sits directly on the ocean where you can watch dolphins frolic and pelicans fly at eye level from your living room and deck. The living area offers a fantastic view of the Atlanta Ocean and provides an additional side window with views of Fripp Inlet and Hunting Island as well as overlooking the private pool. It is perfect for a honeymoon, golf or tennis vacation or romantic getaway. The bedroom has a queen-size bed and an additional queen-size sofa bed in the living room. It's just a short drive to some of the country's most historic sites in Beaufort, Charleston, and Savannah. Many of Hollywood's finest movies have been filmed here, including Forest Gump, Prince of Tides, The Big Chill, The Great Santini, and Jungle Book. Relax or choose from a variety of sporting activities such as fishing, golf at George Cobb's Ocean Point Golf Course or Davis Love's Ocean Creek Golf Course (recently awarded four and a half stars by Golf Digest Magazine) or playing a set of tennis on one of ten fast-dry or hard courts. An educational Nature Center is located on the island for kids of all ages to enjoy. Camp Fripp and Wee Links Gold are a must for the kids.
