Our two-story house has large rooms, 360 degree views, two-levels of wrap-around decks, wooded land, wading beach in harbor, swimming/snorkling ladder in the sea and is situated on a Harbor to Sea property. The house is newly constructed by local boat craftsmen and is an excellent example of high-end Bahamas homes. The personalized construction includes hand-made cabinets, doors, benches that surround the house, and covered verandahs. The inside is entirely cypress with tile floors and ceiling fans throughout. It is not lavish, but it is incredibly functional, handsome, comfortable, and spacious for multiple couples or families.
The house is centered on Dickey’s Cay which forms the flow-through harbor for the center of Man-O-War, about 150 yards away. The large dock can accommodate four to eight runabout boats or two 50'+ yachts. Sit on the covered porches or by the pool for some of the best sunsets in the Bahamas! The kids can row our dingy across the harbor (3 min) for ice cream or long walks on a variety of safe beaches and coves.
The kitchen is well appointed with new upscale appliances. There is a large pantry and a complete set of cooking and serving utensils for parties. There are also ample towels, placemats, glasses and other items to make each meal or gathering simple and successful. The appliances include: coffeemaker, coffee grinder, blender, toaster, microwave, small Cuisenart food processor, range, and refrigerator/freezer with icemaker. The eating area in the kitchen that can seat six.
The upper level is newly finished in the front with 270 degree views of the pool, Sea and Marsh Harbor, five miles to the West Northwest. White-washed cypress and natural hardwood floors make this area a bright and cheerful gathering room. Large sliding doors make for spectaculars views of the daily activities and the lighthouses and stars at night. The room is both a family room and a place for two people to sleep (we normally sleep here).
The upstairs bath has a large shower/bath and closet area for daily living. Lights with dimmers and bright decorations make this room a special place to spend the day or evening with friends. There are both inside and outside staircases to get to the upper level. The upper level is air-conditioned or the prevailing breezes keep the area cool at night. The other half of the upper level and the third floor are unfinished for now.
The boat house and protected pier are located on the Man-O-War side of the island and overlook the town from across the harbor. The boat house is a complete home with bunk beds, kitchen, air-conditioning, bathroom, outdoor attached shower, and hot water. The compact kitchen contains a full-size refrigerator/freezer, coffeemaker, and range/oven. The boathouse is a cute and private place for kids or family members.
Fly to Marsh Harbor and take the Albury's Ferry right to our pier. You will want to have or rent a boat in these parts.

- Grocery Right on the Harbor, There is good snorkelling in the Sea in front of the pool and the spectacular Fowl Cay Sea Park and Reef is only 15 minutes to the North by boat, MOW is about 3 miles long and has many paths and beaches to explore, The MOW Marina is directly across from the house and they rent SCUBA gear and kayaks, Many places in the area rent boats and we recommend WaterWays Boat Rentals which is next to the Marina, They also caretake the house
